Karnog you hear a loud thunk coming from down the hall where you last saw Des. He did not answer your question regarding how he was doing.
Des make a constitution check to see if you can stabilize.
A dying creature is unconscious and near death. Creatures that have negative hit points and have not stabilized are dying. A dying creature can take no actions. On the character's next turn, after being reduced to negative hit points (but not dead), and on all subsequent turns, the character must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. A character that is stable does not need to make this check. A natural 20 on this check is an automatic success. If the character fails this check, he loses 1 hit point. If a dying creature has an amount of negative hit points equal to its Constitution score, it dies.

Grung after about 20 minutes of digging you get down about 2 and half feet using your makeshift shovel, when you hit the top of something. The sound is tinny. After another few minutes minutes you have brushed away the dirt and loosened the packed dirt away form what is box of some sort. There is some sort of script or markings etched into the lid.

Grung you get the box out with a bit of effort it quite heavy and it has a fancy lock that doesn't have spect of dirt on it even though it's been in a hole. That is highly suspicious to you. The box itself is weathered, it is made of iron now that you have it removed. It weighs at least 150 lbs and measures 3 by 2.
