Valya frowns, hustling around the others to get in front of them and in the serpent thing's face. She brings her sword around and attempts to stab it.
sword: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
blur: 1d100 ⇒ 44

Her blade strikes true through the hazy outline of the thing, but instead of blood being drawn, one of the myriad images crack'd from side to side and shattered, leaving 4 images plus the real snake.
Valya's frown deepens.

Nar drops his bow and moves into melee with the closest snake. Realizing he'll be attacked no matter where he chooses, he moves into the best position he can find and attacks.

Valya moves in and pops an image and Nar shows his other side as he moves into melee, splashing through the shallow pool, disturbing the fish and cutting into the real serpentfolk.

Will DC 16: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Tico pronounce some divine words while walks inside the room, don't letting his enemies hit him as he moves. He casts Grace.
"Don't threaten a servant of Sarenrae again, nefarious creature!", the cleric taunts the red 'snake-man' just before fill the room with flames.
[ooc]Now, Tico casts intensified burning hands (Reflex DC 19, halves). Unfortunately, Nar will need to make a Reflex save too.

Red nimbly dodges some of the flames, while they wash over blue without any effect.

Map has been rotated so that North is facing up.
The serpentfolk leads you east into a large chamber with aa pit at its center, edged by a narrow walkway. The pit is filled with serpents that fill the chamber with a hissing chorus. Four stone statues of giant serpentfolk holding out long glaives stand in shallow alcoves in each corner of the room.
A Degenerate serpentfolk and your guide stare at each other for a few moments as though communicating telepathically. The degenerate moves out of the way.
Your guide then leads you into a hall with a short flight of stairs to the east leading down to a doorway and an alcove containing a statue of a robed serpentfolk priest with its hand raised in warning. On the wall at the top of the stairs, the image of a coiling serpent is carved in the stone. To the west is a doorway leading north, after which the passage continues west.
Eventually the passageway opens up to reveal a large statue of a snake facing a wide corridor to the north that ends in a pair of golden doors covered in a twisting serpent pattern.
"Ahead is the Temple of the Serpent, a grand temple to Ysersius. High priest Uzar-Kus leads our tribe and often worships at the shrine. He barely talks to the degenerates, let alone any non-serpents. Perhaps you would rather I show you the way out?"
He seems nervous.
