Masao follows, staying within the light halo that Tico provides.
Can he hear the combat going on now?
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
If he can identify the enemy's space by sound he attacks with a torrent of frost. (If not, he does nothing.)
RT/ice-melee: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 4 = 2
I'm not even going to bother rolling damage or concealment miss chance with that roll.

This dungeon will be more hard than I thought. These illumination and difficult terrain are really sucks.

Hearing combat is DC 0 IIRC, identifying squares of enemy combatants as long as somebody can see them is fine, no need to make life any more difficult than necessary.
Also in regards to light, each level of the Emerald Spire has some sort of environmental effect going on, this first one is really awful for ranged characters who can't see in the dark. Luckily it's the only level with the horrible lightning.
Tico moves up and blesses while Sabi fires in the darkness.
The orange goblin retaliates with another arrow against Nar 2 damage before spurring his rat hound further into the darkness and out of sight to the northwest.
Meanwhile the purple rat-hound yips ineffectually at Valya.

Thanks Tico, I feel like I'm still learning something new from the ACG every week.
Valya's dog goes down with one final whimper.
Valya, fort save DC 12 to see if you're alergic.
A non-goblinoid creature damaged by a goblin dog's bite, who deals damage to a goblin dog with a natural weapon or unarmed attack, or who otherwise comes into contact with a goblin dog must make a DC 12 Fortitude save or break out in an itching rash. A creature affected by this rash takes a –2 penalty to Dexterity and Charisma for 1 day (multiple allergic reactions do not stack).
