Varuna recognises the living statues as caryatid columns, which is exactly that, living statues. Waki, you can ignore the markings and assume there are no walls/doors.
The pathfinders find themselves in a mix of reactions as they notice the living statues coming to defend the sphere. Waki fires an arrow directly at one of statues with a blue stone gem on it's head. The arrow manages to indent the stone skin, but hardly penetrates it. Rahab and Benny move in to strike the same creature, but their weapons strike into the nothingness.
Varuna prepares himself for the oncoming wave of attack by drinking a concoction and Vosk by drinkg a potion.
The creature with the blue gem attacks Rahab who is directly in her view, but is unable to break through his strong defences. The other one has a red gem on her head and moves towards Magt, Magt strikes it taking out a good chunk of pieces from her. However it comes with repercussions as the hard skin chips off a piece of the blade on his horsechopper. Additionally the statue returns the favour and cuts deep into Magt with the sword.

FYI, we didn't pay much attention to weapons found along the way, but at this point in the party's general inventory there is one mwk longsword and 2 mwk bastard swords. If you want to use it i'll just assume you had been holding it all along.
Broken: any attacks made with the item suffer a –2 penalty on attack and damage rolls. Such weapons only score a critical hit on a natural 20 and only deal ×2 damage on a confirmed critical hit.
Shaken: A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Vosk grows to the size of the ogre, stepping 5 feet as he does so in order to keep room for himself without smashing Varuna into the corner. Seeing the vicious strike that Magt took from the fearsome statue, the Nexian mage pulls another wand and taps his companion. "This will stabilize you should you be struck like that again."
5' step, draw wand of infernal healing, cast on Magt. Now has a wand in each hand.

Vosk lends a helping hand to the other enlarged pathfinder with a touch of infernal.
Varuna moves quickly to stop the thread poking it right in the eye. His thrust is enough to penetrate the creature's skin to cause it to go unconscious. His magic reinforced rapier takes no damage from the attack due to it's flexibility.

All weapons have a chance of damage. Magical weapons have +2 hardness for each +1 magical property. So less a chance but still a chance nonetheless!

Rahab screams something unintelligible loudly at the statue before swinging his Gamin at it once more. His sword bounces right off the statue. Both sword and stone equally hard and did not break anything this time.

Just for clarity, you cannot work on the sphere when there is danger. However with that said, Magt has done enough to take down the statue. I've assumed Vosk Religion roll for the interaction round that is explained below:
Benny's crossbow hits the creature but it's unable to penetrate it's tough skin. DR5/-
Magt uses his might and strength to reign down some tough beating on to the living statue. And it's enough to break it apart, giving the pathfinders some breathing space and time to continue working on the sphere.
Mechanically now, you have 2 rounds for healing/buffs and only 1 round to interact with the sphere. After that more danger will return! This cycle will continue until the house has collected enough clues. So far we are at 56/150 clues required. Each 2 successes = 1 clue.
Vosk seems to have gotten ahead of himself and started working on the puzzles. It pays off, as he manages to solved two of the markings dating back to ancient religions regarding elemental tribes.
1. Damage one the rings, using Disable Device or an attack that deals hit point damage
2. Solve one of the many facets of the polyhydron, using your choice of (standard action): Appraise, Disable Device, Intelligence, Knowledge (any), Linguistics, Perception, Wisdom , Use Magic Device. If you speak any of the elemental languages add a +1 bonus for each language you speak.

Waki: Ring and puzzles are two different things! Because you said colour of the rings, I assume you're working on the ring now and not the puzzle? The rings are protecting the puzzle.
Waki manages to bypass some of the ring's defences, but not enough to totally take it down.
So I've made an error. Both Benny and Varuna's checks surpassed the requirement that they both would have destroyed one ring. So the remaining rings are:

Thanks. That was exactly what I was hoping for. Putting wands away was my combat action. I was assuming the enemy would die. Then I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be the holdup when puzzles started again, so wanted to roll ahead. I was filling an emergency con table that had a GM cancellation, so wasn't sure how free I'd get to post again.

The statues only carry one masterwork quality longsword each. Nothing else on them.
After Waki weakens the teal ring, Magt and Rahab knock it to destruction using raw force. Varuna is able to disarm completely one more ring and Benny does the same with the last remaining ring. As the rings have been deactivated, a gush of winds flow through and turning around you find yourself with company of more living statues.

Vosk and Varuna move closer towards the statue coming from the north. They ready themselves in anticipation for retaliation if attacked. The creature moves towards Varuna, Vosk swings over Varuna trying to hit it but falls just inches short.
No AoO for Vosk since it stopped at Varuna.
It swings it's sword toward Varuna, as he parries it and stabs it in return creating a small dent in the statue like thing.

This scenario hates sneak attackers.
The winds of changes bring restoration to the group. The breeze makes everyone feel rejuvenated. You recover 8hp, and 1 ability damage. Regain one use of a class feature. And you can also recover one or more spells that has total levels equal to your character level.
Meanwhile Benny fires accurately a bolt at the creature, but it bounces off it's unusual but natural hard skin. Did not penetrate DR.
Vosk get's a little more luckier this time with a strong solid swing that knocks a chunk of rock out of the stone creatures arm. But it still looks to be standing strong.
