Blake's SF Iconic |

I like Keskodai the mystic but am willing to try others if someone wants to play him.

Just to clarify in case someone is unaware of this:
You don't have to play one of the lvl 1 pregen's for these quests - all though you can off course if you want
Quote from the scenario:
Each player must use one of the 1st-level Starfinder Society
pregenerated characters, which are available at paizo.com/
StarfinderSociety/GMResources, or a 1st-level character of the
player’s own creation, using the rules set forth in the Starfinder
Society Roleplaying Guild Guide.

Also so that you know what you are getting yourselves into with me;
For those new to pbp (or at least new to pbp with me as GM)
I will generally post once a day.
If you haven't posted in roughly a 24 hour period I will skip your turn/NPC you in so we keep the pace of the game going if you are the only one who still needs to act in combat.
For non-combat I'll move the story forward if enough (which might mean just one of you in some cases) have chosen on what to do next.
I will roll initiative for everyone (and sometimes some other dice rolls on a case by case basis, like perception to determine surprise)
Since it is possible for you to delay until some other player has done something I'm fine with you taking turns in the order in which you post. If you don't want to do something until something else happens mention in in your post and we'll fit it in when it happens. If you ready an attack (or expect an attack of opportunity to happen, please roll your own dice for to hit and damage already..they might get used, but if it does come up we don't have to wait for you to respond..or I don't have to roll for it..which means you can't blame me when you miss ;)
For example a turn might go something like this
init
Player A, B
enemy 1
Player c
enemy 2
Damage enemy 1; X, blinded
Bold is up
Player A wants to have flanking, so he delays
A will move next to enemy 1 as soon as he flanking and stick his dagger into 1's back [dice=To hit 1] [dice=damage vs 1]
Player B will do something (like cast a spell)
Enemy 1 will do something
Player C will then move up to an enemy and attack it..after which Player A's turn triggers
I'll take enemy's 2 turn
If something messes up the flow (like enemy 1 knocking player A down) we'll just have to flexible and adjust..I'll try to use my best guess if you haven't altered your own action by the time I post again.
I'll use googledoc maps for combat, you can move your own character around, but please be careful to not move the map itself since it will mess stuff up.
I will sometimes use spoiler blocks with a listed skill and DC, if you make the DC you are free to look at the spoiler and act on the information provided.
This will most of the time include (but not be limited to): (Monster) knowledge checks [If I didn't provide one, you can still roll for knowledge checks..I might just forgot about it or only had time for a quick update]
Some hidden stuff needing perception checks to be found, you can still search for stuff when you feel like it it, but for example looting a room after combat it helps speed things up.
Like this:
Spoilery stuff goes here
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Checking in, I thought you were doing this one 2nd round of gameday is why im late.. I'll be playing a pre-gen and apply it to 45225-701.
Will play the mystic..
Just to clarify you are not late. Originally I had put this up for 2 weeks later then the start of the gameday to get some of the earlier start up from the special and other games I was running/playing out of the way..but somehow it got shifted on the pbpgameday list to the start of the second part..guess I picked an too odd start date so someone tried to "fix"it.
If it's to early/busy for people I could wait till the second part of the gameday? Or we can start once we have enough people.

Just to update you;
Someone bowed out due to hurricanes
I've send invites to the other people on the wait list.
And tomorrow I'm going to a local game day and it might be that I won't be able to post till Monday..so they have till that time to check in. If for some reason nobody wants to play I'll toss in the pregen Monday and we'll finish the first quest and recruit for the other quests

Are more Starfinders needed?
Also, can I play my own SFS character or do I have to play a level 1 pregen?
Quote from the scenario:
Each player must use one of the 1st-level Starfinder Societypregenerated characters, which are available at paizo.com/
StarfinderSociety/GMResources, or a 1st-level character of the
player’s own creation, using the rules set forth in the Starfinder
Society Roleplaying Guild Guide.
So as long as it's a legal lvl 1 character you're good to go

As you might have guessed by now; we're going to get Starship combat
More rules to follow, but for now so you can discuss who's going to fill what role on the ship
The pilot should have a good Piloting bonus.
• Gunners should have a good base attack bonus (at least equal to her level) or the Piloting skill.
• Engineers should have a good Engineering bonus.
• Science officers should have a good Computers bonus.
• The captain should have a good Bluff, Diplomacy, or Intimidate bonus, as well as any of the skills identified above.
You don't have to fill all the roles and you can switch roles as you go, but you can only full file 1 role per round..so no piloting and shooting at the same time..you could in theory pilot round 1 and then run to a gun and shoot in round 2 though..but unless someone takes your role as pilot the ship wouldn't maneuver and only drift around a little bit, etc.
The pilot takes care of movement and initiative
The gunner shoot thing, using one of the weapons (ships have arcs in which they fire and most of them have different weapons per arc, there are turrets which lets you fire in every arc though)
Engineers repair things
Science officers scans thing (which is similar to knowledge checks to identify enemies or you can try to scan for weak spots allowing you to crit on your next attack on 19-20 instead of just 20)
The captain can intimidate one of you to perform better (+4) at a slightly higher target DC or assist you with what one of you is doing by helping (using the same skill as a normal assist other) or encouraging you (diplomacy)

Blake's SF Iconic 2 |

Since we have a small crew, you can be both Pilot (the ship doesn't move without a pilot, and piloting ranks are required for starship combat initiative and maneuvers) and use a Minor Action to do the Engineering action (as long as it is not a Push action).
EDIT: I'll be happy to switch Iconic to Iseph at the first legitimate opportunity and take over Piloting role for the next starship encounter. I took Obozaya, who has no starship contribution beside gunner, because she was all that was left after people who didn't show claimed their Iconics.

Xanthis Xarthis |

The mystic pre-gen has 1 rank in piloting for a +2 modifier.. If thats the best we have than so be it. It has no diplomacy, bluff, or intimidate skills so good luck getting an assist..

Sorry for the delay, the website was down a few times when I tried to check it.
And I'm still missing reporting info for Gear and Lady Onyx.
I'll wait till the end of this week to send in the reporting info for the Gameday.
I've send the link to their chronicles to Blake and Xanthis, let me know if you think I did something wrong and I'll try to fix it.
I'll send one to Gear and Lady Onyx when I get their reporting info as well.
