Grey responds to Kylma's question, looking about at the others.

Kylma easily burns the massive webs with ease, causing instant death to the spiders within them. The ones that manage to escape flee from the inner chambers to the safety of the open land.

Dorvren sneaks over to the nearest coridor and peers down it, sling in one hand mace in the other.

I am with ya...that was directed at Kylma for her good natured ribbing.


There is an opening in the southwest wall through which you can dimly see from Kylma's torchlight. The room is the same octagon shape with the same type of debris littering the floor. The smell in here is worse than the last room. There is a door on the east wall.

Gulping a deep breath then releasing it slowly, Grey nods in agreement, a touch nervously.

Kjell opens the door wide and looks into the room.


The room is not a room at all as you open the door, then realizing that it could have been trapped! Though it is dimly lit from Kylma's torch you see a spiral stairway leading up.dust and cobwebs fill the space with a musty smell lingering within.

There doesn't seem to be. The door is in fairly good condition, considering its age. It's made of solid hard wood which looks like you may have to put a little effort into opening it. The door opens out toward you.

The door opens with minor resistance, beyond the room is faintly lit by the torch Kylma's is carrying. You see 4 stickly creatures with curved swords swaying a bit as they walk toward you. As they close in you notice these stickly figures are animated skeletons!

Grey's eye's widen as he takes in what he sees. "Und-d-d-DEAD!" he cries, following that with sibilantly spitting an arcane syllable as he tosses a small spatter of an acrid smelling liquid at the closest skeleton.

Kylma rushed ahead and swings her greataxe one handed. The skeleton is reduced to powder and bone fragments. She is standing inside to the right of the door. The next closest skeleton is 15-feet away from the door.

Dorvren moves quickly up to the second skeleton, and before it has a chance to act he swings his mace.

Light Mace 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 vs FF for 1d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + (5) = 12


Dorvren rushes into the room and connects with the skull of the second skeleton, shattering it as it flies off to the side of the room.

Grey moves to the opposite side of Kylma and throws an acid flask at the third skeleton. It hits its mark and begins meting away its skull and off hand arm at the shoulder. It doesn't fall but it looks in very poor shape, more so than it did when you first saw it.

setting the loaded crossbow to the side in the hall, Kilain pulls his warhammer out, preparing to enter the room muttering hurrrrm no need to waste a bolt against these blighters.

move action- set down loaded crossbow standard action- draw warhammer. I dont have a +1 BAB yet, so cant move and draw ;) and dont want to waste a channel on a couple feeble skellies.


The skeleton that has the acid eating its bones away, moves up to Grey and slashes at him with his broken scimitar giving him a serious gash across the chest.

Grey:
You take 5 points of damage.

The unthreaded skeleton moves up to Dorvren and swings wide missing him.

At the same time a door to the north-east and another to the south-east open. Revealing another skeleton at each one.

"Ah!" Grey cries out as the Skeleton slashes at him, driving him back.

5' step back, followed by another Acid splash attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19, vs. Touch. That should hit, for 1d3 ⇒ 1 Acid damage.
