Tereze doesn't detect any magic down the spiral stairs.
When she looks inside the room with the statues and sarcophagus, Tereze does detect magic from both the sarcophagus and four of the statues. She's fairly sure there's valuable loot in the sarcophagus, and also fairly sure the four statues will animate as soon as anyone enters the room.

Ze stairs are clear of magic. Zat room however is not. Zere is powerful magic in ze coffin as well as enchantments on ze statues.

Urbar thinks to himself for a moment before answering the question.
"No. My swords will not do much. I have some traps that may aid us though."
He gets out two bear traps from his pack and starts preparing them.
"Where shall I put them? They may slow up to two of them."

Gwen looks around the room and her companions. "Then let them come at us one at a time. We can use this doorway here as a choke-point. I can wrestle them to the ground one at a time and block the doorway with me body to keep the others out while you all chip away at the one I'm holding. Just keep me on my feet, Tereze."

Fiona swiftly casts her hex, squeezing Gwen's shoulder in support while bestowing upon her some magical protection.
Ward hex on Gwen, +2 to AC and saves until hit.

Whoops...
Urbar moves down the stairs and places a trap at the bottom on the floor. He steps over the trap, waiting for the statues to trigger. Once they start moving he quickly moves back again, waiting for the first to trigger the trap.
Red circle is meant to be the bear trap.

Ery shift foreword enough to use his tangle vine to flip off the lid of the center stone coffin.

Sorry, busy week at work and then sick kiddo at home...
Once Urbar has his traps in place Gwen will follow Ery into the room, prepared to quickly shove him back into the stairwell once the trap is sprung. She has her dan bong in hand and will place herself just inside the doorway, ready to grapple the first statue that makes it to her...

The moment Urbar steps over his trap the four statues closest to him start moving. Heat starts to ripple the air near them as they turn into squat, brass-skinned humanoids and their heads and shoulders start blazing with manes of fire.
Urbar quickly jump back, to stand behind his trap. There's no longer a need for Eryzule to move forward, which is why he stays in a safe position instead of moving forward.

Gwen hesitates a little when she notices the statues begin to burn. "This is really going to hurt...." She shifts into a very defensive stance and readies an action to grapple the very first statue to reach her!

Fiona gasps, then blurts out "I can try to protect her with my magic, but it won't be enough!"

One of the humanoids moves up next to the one that knocked the bear trap aside, and draws a light hammer with his empty hand. He throws the light hammer at Gwendallyn, but it flies past her.

Yellow; Warhammer: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Another one of the brass humanoids moves up to Gwendallyn and Urbar. Gwendallyn immediately grapples him, burning herself in the process. the humanoid tries to hit Gwendallyn with its warhammer, but misses.
Red; Warhammer: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Damage +1d6 Fire: 1d8 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (4) = 8
The last of the brass humanoids then also moves up to Gwendallyn and Urbar. Seeing as Gwendallyn's the easiest target to hit, he smacks his warhammer through the ward protecting her and into her side.

Steph, I think that attack should miss Gwen. Before initiating her Grapple, Gwen had an AC of 21 with all the bonuses. Fiona hit her with the ward which would up Gwen's AC to 21. With the Grappled condition applied, Gwen takes a -4 penalty to Dex, which would drop her AC by 2 points down to an effective AC of 21 again.
Thanks, Locke! That'll save me quite a bit of pain.
Gwen immediately grits her teeth against the searing pain of grappling the statue, biting down on her lip to keep from crying out! With a sigh of relief from Locke's magic, Gwen immediately wrestles the creature to the ground and holds it place. "Urbar, doing your thing!"

Fiona lets herself a small smile as one of the statues strikes Gwen but is blocked by some of the magic defenses bestowed upon her. She then begins to whisper a few words, gesturing in the air in Gwen's general direction.
