Going to wait on Steph's reply on Taking 20 for our Stealth checks. If not, perhaps Gwen should join Tereze and Urbar. She has a +0 Stealth modifier lol.

![]() |

Gwen that's quite a bit better then my -4.
I really can't sneak.

![]() |

Pity ;)
Stealth?: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Aw come on....bad dice bot, BAD!
If they notice Locke, very likely, Locke climbs back out asap.
Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 2
"I'm spotted, ...accursed greasy ledge."
The dicebot is mocking me.
Urbar, Gwen, your cue for ass kicking.

![]() |
Fiona rolls her eyes as Locke both makes an inordinate amount of noise and slips off the window. "Some rogue...", she mutters as she readies herself for a battle.

![]() |

I'm guessing considering how loud some people are ;)
Tereze whispers:
Urbar, Gwen try to go quietly zrough ze door. Maybe we can use Locke's noisy entry to catch zem looking out ze window.

StephNyan |

With no one but Locke attempting stealth, the attention of the Ulfen warriors is quickly drawn to sounds in front of the warehouse. Locke meanwhile opens the window and climbs through, ending up on the boat inside the warehouse. He's witness to the Ulfen warriors readying attacks with their greataxes versus anyone who's about to come through the warehouse's front doors. Locke then bumps into something, drawing the attention of the warriors.
"You stay at the door!" one of the Ulfen men says to his mate and starts moving toward Locke, who's trying to climb back out of the window and fails considerably hard.
Readied Attack: Greataxe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
The man's barely advanced toward Locke when the front doors are kicked in by Urbar, who directly thereafter is the victim of the other Ulfen's readied attack with a greataxe.
Fiona: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Gwendallyn: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Locke: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Tereze: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Urbar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Blue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Red: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Round 1:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze
Eryzule
Red
Locke
Urbar
Blue
I've placed most of you (near) where I expect them on the map, but I have no idea where Ery and Fiona are standing at this moment.

![]() |

Fiona would be near the window.
Locke draws a longbow, after stepping 5ft south, then lets an arrow fly towards the man's chest.
"My regards.."
Shot: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 241d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Crit?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 192d8 + 2 ⇒ (5, 2) + 2 = 9

![]() |

Tereze draws her Morningstar and steps past the guard in the door, deliberately moving deeper into the warehouse to give Gwen space to move against the man in the door, and trusting in her armor to keep her safe.
Once there she attacks the man going after Locke.
Morningstar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

![]() |

Urbar grunts as the axe hits him full in the chest. His eyes narrow on the person planting it there and he half growls a response.
"You... Will pay in blood."

![]() |

Gwen ejects the dan bong into her palm and takes a quick step forward and fails miserably at her attempt to grapple the ulfen who just attacked Urbar...
Grapple: 1d20 + 10 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 10 - 1 = 10
Swift Action - 'Draw' Dan Bong from her Spring-Loaded Wrist Sheath. Free - 5' step into position on map. Standard - Grapple attempt w/ Combat Expertise for +1 Dodge bonus to AC for Effective AC of 17.

StephNyan |

AoO: Greataxe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Confirm crit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Damage: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (4, 8) + 4 = 16
Tereze moves after to the man going after Locke, but doing so provokes an attack from the man at the door. He brings his greataxe down on Tereze's shoulder, instantly knocking her out and causing her to bleed profusely.
Gwendallyn takes her dan bong and tries to grapple the man who attacked Urbar and Tereze, but fails miserably.
Round 1:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze -8/18HP (Unstable)
Eryzule
Red
Locke (Posted actions)
Urbar 9/20HP
Blue

![]() |

Fairs Fair, but Holy Criticals Batman! That Was Nasty!

![]() |

Well this sucks... I have a healing wand but if I heal you I will most likely go down next round. If I don't heal you then there is a possibility that you will die...

![]() |

Tereze actually has 6 rounds to stabilize before she is officially dead. Assuming that Locke's attack didn't actually take him down first. Blah, just realized that Locke's actions don't happen until after Tereze's. Crap!

![]() |
Fiona gasps as Tereze is literally cut down with a single blow, almost offhandedly. Even worse, she falls in probably the worst place possible, right next to the two large axe-wielding men. Fiona hesitates for a second whether she should go help her fallen friend, but quickly decides not to risk it. Instead, she positions herself and casts a hex on one of the warriors.
Slumber hex on red, DC 15 vs. Will.

StephNyan |

@Locke: I didn't forget you post. You just weren't up yet.
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Fiona casts a slumber hex on the warrior at the door, but it has no effect.
Ery's still up, but has been so since Wednesday. Feel free to post for him. I'll delay his turn if there are no posts for him by this evening.

StephNyan |

Delaying Ery.
Greataxe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
The man who went after Locke turns to Gwendallyn, figuring he'll first help his mate. He 5-foot steps onto Tereze's limp body and swings his greataxe at Gwendallyn, but the brawler ducks and avoids the attack.
Locke then shoots the man in his back, causing him to collapse atop Tereze.
Round 1:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze -8/18HP (Unstable)
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 9/20HP
Blue

![]() |

Go Urbar! Do what you do best!!!

![]() |

I can make a post for Ery. Sorry, had a rather rough day with my toddler son.
Ery moves up next to Fiona, gauging the battlefield... Not quite sure he wants to get too close to the axe-wielding Warriors!
Could someone move Ery's icon on the map next to Fiona? That way he is closer to Tereze and can heal her next round after Gwen and Urbar rip this guard into tiny pieces...

![]() |

Urbar takes a step forward and swings both his swords at the warrior in front of him, the first one ripping through flesh and bone with a gut wrenching sound.
"You don't just attack someone and turn your back to him a moment later..."
Atk roll: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 2 + 2 = 26
Dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 + 2 = 23
Dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12
Atk roll: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 2 + 2 = 18
Dmg: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9
Rip him to pieces indeed...

StephNyan |

Urbar steps forward and beheads the man in front of him with a single swing from his sword. He then cuts the corpse again, for s@!+ and giggles.
"Who's there?!" a voice sounds from up the balcony, and a broad shouldered man appears.
The man point at the bottom of the stairs connected to the balcony and mumbles something. A greatsword purely made of force appears at the bottom of the stairs.
"State your business here!" the man shouts at you.
Round 2:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze -8/18HP (Unstable)
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 9/20HP
Bengeirr

![]() |

Gwen sees Tereze go down hard from a brutal strike from a greataxe. "Tereze!" she screams and immediately picks the dead ulfen off her friend and throws the body to the side. "Ery, get up here now! Tereze is down!"
Gwen then moves forward to a better position and to keep herself in between the new threat and her friends. "We are here on behalf of your cowardice, Bengeirr. Give us the lantern and we will let you go about your business. Refuse and we will make sure you end up with a pitiful, slow death."
How high is the balcony he is standing upon, Steph?
PCing Ery
Eryzule rushes forward and quickly casts a healing spell over Tereze, stabilizing her wounds.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

![]() |

Gwen grins wickedly at the threat. "With pleasure, fool. You'll be begging for your wet-nurse when I'm through with you!"
Awesome! Also, is there a railing on the balcony? If so, how tall is it? Lastly... I'm guessing it would have been a Standard Action to remove the dead ulfen from Tereze's square, yes?

![]() |

Tereze wakes up feeling like she was just hit by a charging Ox.
Ouch... my head...
She stands up and picks up her Morningstar. Looking around to take note of the situation.

![]() |

Urbar sheaths one of his swords, triggers his wrist sheath with the cure light wounds wand and casts the spell on himself.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

StephNyan |

@Gwen: There's a 2 feet high railing at the edge of the balcony/loft. You can pick things that you're able to carry up as a move action. I consider limp bodies to be 'things' in this regard.
Locke tries to hide and go unnoticed, waiting for a better angle for a shot.
Eryzule rushes up to Tereze and stabilizes her, after which Fiona moves up to Tereze and also casts a healing spell on her unconscious friend.
Tereze regains consciousness and stands up while pushing the unconscious man off of her, after which she picks up her morningstar and takes a look around to see what the situation's like.
Urbar sheaths one of his swords, triggers his wrist sheath with the cure light wounds wand and casts the spell on himself.
Round 2:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze 7/18HP
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 15/20HP
Bengeirr

![]() |

Already posted Gwen's actions for Round. She picked up the dead Ulfen and tossed him, then moved forward to the position on the map! And thank you for clarifying all that!

StephNyan |

Whoops, I missed that.
After she's helped Tereze get up by picking the KOed Ulfen up and tossing him aside, Gwendallyn moves closer to the stairs leading to the loft.
"Take this, you big mouthed wench!" Bengeirr yells at Gwendallyn and aims the lantern's beam on her.
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Gwendallyn feels a chill run down her spine when the white beam of light hits her, but nothing major seems to happen.
Round 3:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze 7/18HP
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 15/20HP
Bengeirr

![]() |

No worries!
Gwen laughs madly at Bengeirr's feeble attempt to use the lantern's magic on her. "Flaccid attempt, fool, like other parts of you I am sure." She takes a step away from the great-sword at the base of the stairs, removes a vial from her bandolier, and then downs the contents. Suddenly Gwen grows twice her size, now standing eye-to-eye with Bengeirr. "You're going to retreat that, little man."
Free Action - 5' Step at a diagonal. Move Action - Draw Potion of Enlarge Person. Standard - Drink Potion of Enlarge Person.
It's game on now, baby!
Enlarge Person - 10/10 Rounds

![]() |

Seeing Gwen's idea, Tereze ducks behind the barrels and focuses her thoughts inward past the pain and sending forth a call across the planes for an ally to assist Gwen with her plan.
5 Foot step onto bodies behind the barrels. Starts casting Summon Monster I to give Gwen a flanking buddy

![]() |

Urbar drops his sword and grabs his loaded sling from his belt. After swinging it up to speed he aims for the man and releases the stone.
Atk roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 2 = 22
Dmg roll: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10

![]() |

I was wondering what that should have been! Maybe the confusion will make him easier to hit...

StephNyan |

Gwendallyn removes a potion from her bandolier and grows twice her size when she drinks it. She then makes a threat that sounds rather silly, accidentally saying something else than intended. It happens.
Tereze ducks between the barrels and starts casting a summon spell.
Urbar drops the sword he's still holding and takes his sling, which he folded in such a neat way that it's already holding a stone. He proceeds to sling the stone, which hits Bengeirr in his face and makes him say something akin to, "Bleeeh!! What the...!! Damn it!"
Locke moves quietly and shoots an arrow that Bengeirr doesn't see coming, but the Ulfen's protected by his armor.
Round 3:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze 7/18HP
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 15/20HP
Bengeirr -10HP

![]() |

Are we Botting Ery? If so maybe he steps up 5 feet and casts Daze? I don't see much else he can do at range except try to look good.

StephNyan |

Until Ery tells us he's back, you may bot his actions.
Eryzule moves inside the building and casts daze on Bengeirr.
Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Bengeirr stops moving and stares blankly into the distance.
Delaying Fiona's 3rd round, 'cause she's been up since Wednesday.
Fiona spaces out for a moment, looking an awful lot like Bengeirr in his dazed state.
Round 4:
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze 7/18HP
Eryzule
Locke
Urbar 15/20HP
Bengeirr -10HP

![]() |

Urbar loads his sling and lets another stone fly towards the man.
"This is easy compared to shooting birds out of the sky! And that is hardly a challenge."
He laughs as another stone hits the man full in the face.
Atk roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 2 = 25
Dmg roll: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8
Crit confirm roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 2 = 23
Dmg roll: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8
Damn...

![]() |

Not trusting of Bengeirr's footing... Ery lets loose a tangle vine from his arm, meaning to trip with dazed fool...
CMB to trip: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
...However, the vine lazily glides against the floor before retracting back into Ery's arm.
"Huh...that's embarrassing."

![]() |

Gwen ducks around Urbar's next stone he sends flying through the air and immediately steps up to loft, easily reaches over the ledge, and wraps Bengeirr in a grapple! "Told you that you'd regret that. Now you're mine!"
Grapple: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Free Action - 5' step. Standard Action - Grapple Bengeirr.
Urbar, hate to tell you this.... But slings only threat critical on a natural 20 :(.
