Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
Fiona, now more secure, moves several steps toward the thugs and drops another one of them with her slumber hex.
Vicard refuses to wade into the sluggish water, and fires an arrow at the red thug. However, he does this at the exact same moment Fiona's hex took effect. As the thug drops to the floor, Vicard's arrow passes overhead.
Eryzule reaches behind his cloak and pulls up his heavy crossbow. He fires the bolt that was already loaded into it at the thug on the bridge, and pierces the man's guts with it.
Combat over!

"What can I say... Women love me."
Ery reloads his crossbow before tucking it away. He looks to Vicard with a shrug.

Tereze fires another stone at the center thug.
Sling: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Sling Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Then she puts away her sling and steps forward.
someone please move me a 5 foot step forward to block the thugs from jumping across to our side of the sewer

Gwen stops and pouts a little as Fiona and Ery clean up the mess. She then backtracks and leaps onto the nearby pedestal with the unconscious thug and removes a coil of rope to tie him up!
Tie Up Blue thug. DC to Escape is 26, booyah!

Vicard Inck

"All right Gwen, got him tied tight? If so, let's wake him up and see if he knows anything. Do we want to tie the others in case his....answers wake the others? Vicard says, ready for another quick and dirty (pun intended) interrogation.

Gwendallyn

Gwen glances over her shoulder to Vicard while she's wrapping up her thug. "Yes, tie him up as well. If this one won't talk, then the other might." She grins at Vicard, thinking back to how she made the last thug she'd grappled with spill his secrets.

Urbar Anden

Urbar grunts as the last thug drops.
"Bloody... Wanted to try these new weapons!"
He angrily slams the swords back into their sheaths. He sits down against the wall and starts reloading the wrist sheath he used earlier.

Vicard Inck

As Gwen ties the men up, Vicard ties up the other men, making sure they are tightly contained. "It might get...loud down here." He thinks with little emotion. He had questioned many men, in many places, although he couldn't remember a dirtier one recently. Before going back to Gwen, he goes over to the ramshackle chemist set and looks it over.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Unless he sees something really crazy here, he pockets everything worth having, and heads back to Gwen and the Red thug.
"Don't worry Urbar. Maybe they will refuse to answer, and you can use them. I have high hopes for them."
Assuming nothing else crazy happens, Vicard wakes the red thug by sticking his head under the disgusting brown water for a moment before heaving him back up.
"Wakey wakey" Vicard says coldly.

Tereze Amnell

Before Vicard wakes up the thug, Tereze hurrys over and stabilizes the thug that Ery dropped.
As she does she softly mutters to herself
I will not waste any human life without cause. Maybe saving more of them will balance the scale.

When you check out the chemist set you find a rack of alchemical substances containing 2 acid flasks, 4 alchemist’s fire, 2 smokesticks, 2 thunderstones, and 4 vials of filth fever tonic.
The thug Vicard woke up screams when his head comes out of the water. "Don't! No! Aaaah!"
Tereze successfully stabilizes the other thug.

Gwendallyn

We definitely want to take note of all the alchemist stuff at hand... I highly suggest we divvy up the acid/fire as I see a potential for needing them in the sewers...
Gwen nods to Vicard as he works on waking up the thug with the foul, disgusting water. "Hi." She says with a large smile. "We're the ones you threatened to rob. You remember that?" She frowns as she glances down at the tightly bound ropes. "Hmm... something seems to be keeping you from thieving. I wonder how you found yourself tied up?" She winks at Vicard. "Vicard, how do you think such a thing could have happened? Think we should refresh his memory with another drink?"

Vicard Inck

Vicard takes the gold mildly, and tosses it to Gwen. "All right. I have a number of questions, and you are going to answer them. If not, things get unpleasant. If you do, I'll let you go. Agreed?"
Vicard pauses a moment to collect his thoughts.
"First, who do you work for? We already know you are the Steel Wyverns but are they more? Any more cheap thugs strolling about, or gang bosses up ahead? Second, what do you know about this secret hideaway, the Almsman? Don't be coy, please, I'm in a hurry. We know it exists, I just need some details. Location, owner, that sort of thing. Third, I could use some description of the sewer up ahead. Likely dangers, collapsed roofs, high water, that sort of thing." Vicard stops, then throws in casually, "Know anything about a portal to another dimension?.

Urbar Anden

"Let's just dump em in the water and move on. He ain't gonna tell us anything."
Urbar says as he is still casually sharpening his sword.
"Or we could test some of those nice looking flasks on them."
He adds with a grin.
I totally forgot to buy the sap! I remember it just now :(

Going over to check on the chemist table Tereze picks up one of the tonic vials.
You know zese might be useful if we pick up anyzing from the sewer water.
She looks at the sewer water dripping off of the thugs face.
Oh...

Fiona Nic Cathár
Fiona stands a few steps behind the others, looking but not participating in the questioning of the thugs. Her face appears to be blank, as if she has returned to her ruminations.

"Our leader's Randalan," the thug tells Vicard.
"The Almsman?" he asks somewhat confused. "He's somewhere ahead of here. Now let me go, okay?!"
The thug's confusion turns into annoyance when Vicard asks what kind of things are in the sewer up ahead. "Spiders, lots of them. Can I go now?!"
And back to confusion when Vicard asks about a portal. "What, a portal...? Like I know, I haven't seen one!"

Vicard Inck

"Don't be in such a rush, friend. If you are, I might get into one too and I get clumsy when I'm rushed." Vicard lets go of the tottering man and the thug almost falls into the sewage water. At the last minute Vicard grabs him and holds him above the nasty current.
"Next time, I might drop you. Now, does Randalan hang out down here? Am I likely to run into more of you? As for the Almsman...'somewhere ahead' doesn't cut it, friend. Could you sketch me a map, if I asked nicely?"
Then, after a minute. "Big spiders? Like, I need to use a sword big or just lots of normal sized ones? Answer and I'll let you go, and your friends to, if you tell the truth."

Vicard Inck

"Think you can do it without killing them? Go right ahead." Vicard gets up, wipes his hands and makes room for Gwen to do the dirty work.
He makes ready to continue up the tunnel, unless something untoward happens.

Urbar Anden

"We could use em as bait for the spiders? Otherwise just knock em cold and leave em."
Urbar stands, ready to continue.

Tereze Amnell

Do not forget to take zere weapons Gwen.
Addressing the thugs she says: You lasted about 10 seconds after you decided to attack us. It is time to find a new line of work boys, or we might really try to kill you.

Gwendallyn

Gwen looks at Vicard with an incredulous look. "Why, Vic, don't you have any faith? Don't you remember those crazed museum curators?" She winks at him before looking down at the thug by her feet, a grin on her face as she cracks her knuckles. She leans down and whispers into his ear. "Don't worry, it'll only hurt when you wake up." She then punches him hard in the soft spot of the jaw!
Coup de grace for non-lethal!
Non lethal CdC: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
Lather, rinse, repeat for the two bound thugs. Once they're unconscious, Gwen will gather their weapons, and untie them. Non-lethal takes a way to roll off natural, so we should be good for some time!

StephNyan

"No, please! Don't! Oh mother of...!" A single punch, and the thug's quiet. A few punches later the party moves on.
Ahead is a junction where a smaller sewer line once joined the main passage. The ceiling of the smaller passage partially collapsed, filling most of that tunnel with rubble. The surface of the rubble pile seems to shift strangely and closer examination reveals thousands of tiny vermin fleeing into cracks and shadows.
A new part of the map's revealed!

Urbar Anden

"Time for those vials I think... Who has the best aim here?"
Urbar says as he looks into the new room full of vermin.

Fiona Nic Cathár
Fiona looks around at the skittering vermin in disgust but without any obvious fear. With a few gestures and arcane words, she conjures up three globes of white light, sending them around using her hands to clean the area of the small creatures but without killing them. "Each of these creatures has its use, there's no purpose in slaughtering them altogether," she quietly adds.

Fiona what did you use to drive the bugs away? Was it s hex?
Fiona, sat may be wisest zing anyone in zis group has ever said!

            "I vote Fiona!"
The elf chimes in, having been looking over his Tea set passively.

Fiona Nic Cathár
@Fiona: Judging by your description I'd say you're trying to use dancing lights to scare them off. Is that correct?
Yes - I forgot to put that in OOC!
Fiona blushes slightly at the compliments the others give her. "These... these aren't my thoughts. My mother Elvira used to say that a long time ago," she says, falling silent.

Tereze Amnell

Tereze puts her hand on Fioana's shoulder and says:
Knowing what lessons to learn and when to put zem in action is the definition of wisdom. I stand by what I said.

StephNyan

            Neat use for dancing lights!
Fiona's three globes of white light send the spider swarms into a frenzy. About half the spiders flies away from you and disappears from sight. The other half flies toward you.
Fiona: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Gwendallyn: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Tereze: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Urbar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Vicard: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Spider swarm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
The spider swarm continues your way and is soon all over Gwendallyn and Urbar.
Swarm damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Both have to make 2 DC 11 Fort saves. Fail the 1st and you'll take 1d2 Str damage. Fail the 2nd and you'll be nauseated.
Round 1:
Spider swarm
Gwendallyn
Vicard
Tereze
Eryzule
Urbar
Fiona
Fiona already scared off one of the swarms, so this shouldn't take long!

Vicard Inck

Vicard's skin crawls as the spider swarm...swarms forward. While most have left due to the lights, plenty remain to be a problem. Vicard watches Gwen and Urbar fight the vermin, unused to something that couldn't simply be grappled or punched.
"Magic people, time to shine." He barks, looking at Ery, Fiona and Tereze. While he says this he pulls out a flask of acid.
"I'd really rather not use this, and cover our friends in acid. Anyone have a better idea?"

Tereze Amnell

Toss it Vicard. I can patch up Gwen and Urbar if need be.
She shudders as she looks at all the spiders and backs away without thinking.

Gwendallyn

            Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Gwen shudders at the large number of spiders swarming, but grins at Fiona's clever use of magic. She turns to acknowledge the lasses insight when the remaining spider suddenly swarm and rush towards her. She immediately begins slapping all over her body, trying the smash the minuscule insects, but succeeds at nothing more than angering the swarm more.
As she flails around she hears Vic and screams. "I don't care! Get them off me!" She rushes forward a few steps to get away from the spiders!

Vicard Inck

Shrugging, Vicard heaves the acid flask directly at Gwen.
"You asked for it!" He shouts, wondering why they want to be coated in acid.
Splash weapon Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
The acid breaks at Gwens feet, coating the area is bubbling acid.
Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Most it drains off into the sewer though.

Eryzule, Lord of Tea

Ery casts Magic Missile at the group of swarming fun!
Magic Missile dmg: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 = 5

Urbar Anden

"We can heal up! Just get these things off of us!"
Urbar snaps at the others as he tries to swat the tiny spiders.
Going total defense, as far as possible in this situation anyhow :P

Tereze Amnell

I have an idea, if I pore oil on zis floor can someone light it when the spiders step on it?
Tereze begins digging in her pack trying to get a flask of oil and growing frustrated as the contents of her backpack keep shifting around on her.
Standard action to retrieve oil from her pack. It doesn't say what kind of action it takes to dump out lamp oil (See here) but if it is only a move, she will start dumping the oil in her square if she hears someone can light it.

Fiona Nic Cathár
Fiona looks puzzled as half the spiders continue to swarm onto her friends, caring little for the bright light or even the acid flask. Although she starts moving towards the creatures hoping to subdue them with her magic, she quickly realizes the path is too narrow for this, and ends up doing nothing.
Fiona does have a burning hands spell she might use during the next round.

StephNyan

            Making the rolls for Urbar:
Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Both Gwendallyn and Urbar aren't poisoned, but they both feel nauseated.
@Ery: Will you spend a point from your Arcane Reservoir for that 2nd missile? Else you can only shoot 1.
@Gwen: Was the part where you step away just flavor, or do you actually mean to move? I don't see any change in where you're on the map, so I'm not sure.
@Tereze: Using a potion or applying magic oil to something equals a standard action, but here you're just dumping oil on the floor. I'll treat that as a move action when I'll apply all the actions for this round.
@Vicard: That's okay!

Eryzule, Lord of Tea

            yup, that's the plan.

Gwendallyn

Whoops! I forgot to ask someone to move me on the map. I was posting from my phone that day. I'll go make the proper adjustment to the map now!
So in theory, Vicard could attack one empty square with his acid without fear of striking Gwen.

Vicard Inck

As the others continue to yell for more acid, Vicard draws out another flask and heaves it towards the swarming spiders, hoping it works a bit better this time.
It aims for the empty space Gwen deserted.
Acid Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Again, his aim is true and the acid sprays over the surging, roiling spiders.
Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
This time the acid does more damage to the vermin.

StephNyan

Gwendallyn moves away from the swarm, while Urbar tries out how going total defense fares versus a swarm.
Vicard pulls out a flask of acid and throws it where Gwendallyn once stood, dealing minor acid damage to the swarm and equal splash damage to Urbar. (-1HP for Urbar)
Note that PvP isn't allowed in PFS. So if Urbar feels like vetoing attacks that harm him, he can. (Though I doubt he'll do that in this situation, which is why I'll move on for now.)
Eryzule spends a point from his arcane reservoir and two magic missiles slam into the swarm, weakening it further.
Tereze starts pouring oil on the floor, hoping someone can ignite it for her.
Fiona starts moving towards the swarm, but the path is too narrow for this and she ends up doing nothing.
The swarm crawls forward. It now envelops both Urbar and Tereze, who feel thousands of tiny bites all over their bodies.
Swarm damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Both Urbar and Tereze have to make 2 DC 11 Fort saves. Fail the 1st and you'll take 1d2 Str damage. Fail the 2nd and you'll be nauseated for another round.
Vicard readies to throw another acid flask the moment either Urbar or Tereze moves out of the swarm.
Round 2:
Spider swarm -6HP
Gwendallyn
Vicard (Readied Acid Attack)
Tereze
Eryzule
Urbar
Fiona
The nauseated condition from last round has passed!

Fiona Nic Cathár
The stress finally overcomes Fiona, "Let me through and I can try to set them on fire!" she raises her voice, an surprising behavior for the usually introverted woman.
delay; if Fiona can move one step forward she will and cast Burning Hands for Damage, DC 14 vs reflex: 1d4 ⇒ 1 catching two squares of the swarm. If not, she will do nothing again this round.

Tereze Amnell

            Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Str Damage: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Tereze quickly tries to move through the swarm of spiders swatting at the things crawling on her as she can. The spiders seem to crawl in al the cracks in her armor and she stumbles as she moves away.
Ugg, zey are everywhere! But the oil is down, someone try to light zat area up with fire!
