Is it possible for me to bow out of this module? My work has been super slammed lately and I need to get my feet under me.

Steph, how you would handle a flying leap with a grapple? An Acrobatics check and then a grapple maneuver attack? I'm just curious... 45' is a little high for me to want to try it currently, but maybe when Gwen has some more HP... I rather love the visual of Gwen leaping out to grapple this harpy-thing and then drag it down with her to the ground, then proceed to bash its head into the sand.

Acrobatics to jump sounds fine. You'll be able to find the appropriate DC when checking the jump rules of the skill. You can then attempt to grapple it like normal. If you'd grapple it in a way that'd prevent it from using its wings, then it can't stay airborne. You'd both fall to the ground and you'd both take the appropriate fall damage. If your grapple misses.... well, you fall alone.
I can see someone grappling it in a way that wouldn't prevent it from using its wings. Depending on the weight it can carry it may be able to stay airborne, may crash down after all, or may be forced into a slow descend.

Four attacks?! Holy crap, that seems a little excessive at 2nd level. No wonder folks talk about the lethality of Season 0 lol. Didn't someone say something about fighting flying creatures in this one...

I actually prefer these harder scenarios, the newer seasons can have very little challenge involved (at least in lower levels).
So far they've managed to provide challenging battles in almost each adventure.

That's actually a good point, Fiona. While a few were exceedingly frustrating (I'm looking at you organ/fog battle), in general I quite enjoy the challenge! Especially since has Martial Flexibilty to allow her to overcome some of the more situational combats. Unfortunately I have nothing to deal with flying creatures that hit really hard.
