The trap door on the belfry’s platform leads to a narrow wooden staircase descending the dome’s interior.

(Assuming you descend down the stairs, you can always choose to go back outside again if you'd really wanted to.)

The Cathedral of Aroden’s former congregation hall fills an enormous, high-ceilinged open space, with the rectangular nave opening into a large circular chamber beneath the building’s grand dome.
Along the dome’s ceiling, a fresco depicts Aroden’s apotheosis and his famed battle with the wizard-king Tar Baphon on the Isle of Terror. Although intricate, the fresco’s crumbling perimeter and fading colors betray the lack of recent maintenance. A narrow wooden balcony, lined by a finely carved balustrade, encircles the dome’s base and the cathedral’s nave. The balusters depict men following several different professions, while fine calligraphy graces the top railing.
Forty feet below, an enormous altar—itself the size of a small building—stands stoutly below the dome’s apex. The cathedral’s nave stretches out to the south. Soft blue light streams into the enormous space through dozens of meticulously decorated stained-glass windows lining the nave. They illuminate trophies of all sorts—from weapons to wands—hung from the hall’s many columns.
Signs of last night’s gala and the massacre that interrupted it are obvious: freshly painted sunburst decorations, tables swathed in fine cloth covered with spoiled food, a portable stage standing empty but bloodstained, and corpses littering the floor below.

I'll admit I'm a bit lost on what's Jules OOC comment is, but if you ready to attack for when the elemental is in your reach you only get a standard action..which is one attack..if you wait with your action until after it's done ..it's going to be using fly-by attack and it will never be in your melee range

The elemental turns it's "head" Aurin and then flies back with it's arms raises for a strike, going for someone on the edge1S2R: 1d2 ⇒ 2 of the group to minimize people being able to hit it.

I like what you tried to do, but using diplomacy in combat is generally not going to work ..and your roll wasn't high enough to make me consider an exception to the rule

As it comes closer Sora fires a ray of cold at it hitting it and freezing part of the winds that makes up the bulk of it's body. it doesn't come close enough for Jules or Tywin to strike at it..but Ryuchi was ready for it when it approached, swinging twice at it but both swings are harmlessly deflected upward and away from the elemental center by it's outer winds (both fail to hit AC)
It then slams it's airy fist into Ryuchi Slam vs Ryuchi AC: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 hitting Ryuchi Damage Ryuchi: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 before it flies away up towards the ceiling again, returning to were it came from.

The elemental goes for Sora this time flying towards her and then getting hit by the cold spell she was preparing and getting attacked by Tywin as well Since you didn't include any new rolls I'll use your last rolls for this this time, but I'm going to need new rolls for the next readied attack missing the elemental once and hitting it once.
Then the elemental slams his first into Sora

Then as it passes near Tywin he manages to stick his weapon through the whirling winds and manages to disrupt the flow of the elemental's once as his other attacks swings wide main body it then slams it's fist of solid air at Sora again

Since I think Sora would have hit the floor before Liriel would have done something, providing a visual clue that she's in trouble(and Liriel is the only one other one then Sora who can heal in this party I think) I'm fine with Liriel changing her action to something else - like healing Sora. Off course it's still up to Liriel what she will do with her action, she can keep the attack she made if she wants and go for a heal next round.

Sora shudders slightly as she is healed, the bleeding and such seeming to stop, breathing going a bit easier, but she still does not seem to be moving.

Scarab Sages

As Liriel heals Sora, Ryuchi and Tywin ready more attacks for when the elemental comes close.
(I'll assume that Jules will do the same if she hasn't responded when I get back in a couple of hours and use her previous rolls since I don't think much will change)

With Sora down on the floor the elemental decides to go for 1d4 ⇒ 2 Liriel, drawing attacks from Tywin and Jules whom combined are able to take down the elemental before it is able to swing it's fist at Liriel

You can translate the lettering as the infamous Starfall Doctrine, which prophesied Aroden’s return to usher in an Age of Glory but was proven false when he died on the eve of its manifestation.
