Aid Tokens
Once per encounter, any character at a table can use an Aid Token to assist the group in one of five ways described below. Once a table uses an Aid Token, the token grants no further benefit until the end of the encounter, at which point one of the players can pass the Aid Token to a neighboring table for them to use. It is very important that the players remember that there are a limited number of Aid Tokens, and hoarding one means that somebody else doesn’t get to use it. An Aid Token’s benefits can take one of the following five forms.

Aid Another: Ralph gives advice via a sending spell to help you solve a puzzle, disable a trap, or accomplish some other task as if performing the aid another action for a PC. The bonus for this aid is +3.
Allied Offensive: Ralph happens to be in a battle nearby and spares a moment to direct a long-range magical attack on a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, the target is momentarily disoriented and anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
Burst of Healing: Ralph asks a nearby cleric to send a burst of positive energy through the token. This heals all of the PCs of 3d6 points of damage. Alternatively, Ralph can send one of these spells thorugh the token to one of you: neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease with a caster level of 6.
Spellcasting Synergy: Ralph sends a surge of magical energy through the token as you cast a spell increasing the save DC and caster level of the PC’s spell by 1.
Timely Inspiration: Ralph broadcasts the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. The competence bonus is +2.

Torrag: it is vulnerable to cold, can create a cloud of smoke and fire around it that deals 1d6 fire damage to adjacent living creatures each round and explodes in a 30ft radius fireball when destroyed.

Torrag, Van and twitter pound the blast shadow with magic, Hakime sends two arrows past that fly unimpeded through the smoke, and Blan reduces the blinded skeleton to bone powder.

The blast shadow follows Torrag and attacks 1d2 ⇒ 2 Blan again with its sharp flaming claws.

The first strike misses but the second one gets Blan deep in the gut, and the smoke and fire around it continue to burn both Blan and Torrag.

The other skeleton keeps chasing Hakime.

Torrag and Van only have 20ft move speeds, so I don't think we can outrun them. On the other hand, if Torrag has a pit spell and we drop the blast shadow into a pit, I could drop crap on it from above until it blows up, and the pit could contain the blast.

If it makes its reflex save, we may need Blan to bull rush it into the pit, but he's going to be in deep trouble if he falls in as well.

Twitter and Van hammer the skeletal champion with magic, and Blan finishes it off with an actual hammer.

Post-combat, you take a moment to tend to your wounded and track down one of the instances of Kreighton Shaine to report your findings about the Sky Key Vault's likely location.

"Indeed! I see that where a direct application of magical might failed us, your cleverness and ingenuity has pulled us through. Well done! There are a few Pathfinders I know who have talents in summoning and excavation magics, and will gather them here to begin making a path to the Sky Key Vault. But that will do us no good as long as the anchors remain! If we do not find enough anchors and sever their tethers to this time, we will all perish. I passed a few of them on my way here and can give you their locations and a brief description."

"One had a remarkably Azlanti appearance, and were she not garbed as a Harbinger I would have thought her native to this time. In any event, she was speaking to some of the locals like she was one of them, which either makes her a very convincing actor or mentally disturbed by the magics suffusing her being."

"Another was sitting by a table at a park, flipping over Harrow cards as if doing a Harrowing. I actually saw him several times, always at the same place, flipping over cards, as if he could not stop performing harrowings, or perhaps he was unable to accept what he saw."

"The last was a rather handsome young man, also with Azlanti features, but unlike the woman this guy was strutting around like a peacock, talking down to the locals as if he believed he was some kind of dignitary. And if you ask me, he didn't seem all that bright."

The instance of Kreighton Shaine leads you past a few blocks of buildings to where the man he described is. As described, the man is rather handsome and does look like one of the locals, but is dressed in the robes of the Harbingers and is emanating the same green energy as the dome that encases the bubble of time that you are in.

He smiles when he sees you and spreads his arms in a welcoming and magnanimous (to him) gesture.

"Ah, who do we have here? More plebs come to prostrate themselves before the grandson of Aroden? Ah the work of a demi-god never ends, I see. Alright then, what tributes and petitions do you have to present before me?" he asks genially as he invites you to kneel before him in worship.

When the green glow fades, you see that a large ochre pool of gel has been left on the ground. It quivers a little before beginning to flow slowly towards you.

"Ah! I see! A test! If you truly were sent by my grandfather, and the green energies are truly from Tar-Baphon, then you should have no trouble defeating this creature. If you win, I shall relinquish this magic, hmm?"

The delusional fool sits himself by the fountain in the plaza and gestures towards you, inviting you to prove yourself to him.

Sovereign Court

Pathfinders have found and uncovered the Sky Key Vault. It is there that the Sky Key—the Society’s ticket home—awaits. However, the dome of green energy remains strong, suggesting that too many Harbinger spellcasters are still anchoring the Society in this time period.

Van has no idea what this thing is. Twitter, like Torrag, knows it is a prodigiously-sized ochre jelly. It secretes a digestive acid that only attacks flesh and it is adept at grabbing and constricting its targets with its pseudopod slams (slam has acid damage, grab and constrict).

Much like your Blan, the ooze is large, slow and easy to hit, but can soak a lot of damage. Your spells hit the ooze to full effect, but it does not seem to be slowing down. Fortunately it was never quick to begin with.

Blan flings his hammer at the ooze and strikes it dead center. However, lacking a discernable anatomy, his perfectly-aimed strike does no more than a normal strike. Ooze traits - immune to critical hits.

Torrag looks at Blan backs away from the ooze, running past him. He looks back to the ooze, and suddenly realizes that the front-line has moved, and he is now the frontline. He barely has a moment to mutter a curse before the ooze flows towards him and flicks a goopey pseudopod limb at him.

slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
pain: 2d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 4) + 6 + (1) = 12
grab: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15 This right here is true luckiness.

Against all odds, the ooze flails wildly to no effect, completely missing the dwarven wizard.

Dm I think even the slam didn't work.

I have this strange idea. Do anybody have quaterstaff? this This is so easy to hit... I could do duelwielding.

If there were a way not being grab and have the opportunity to do this.

Hakime looks around a bit helplessly almost, til she spots something that might be usable as a club, at least for a few hits before it breaks... She picks it up, stashing her bow on her back and takes a couple of swings through the air to test the balance and adjust her grip for the least resistance to it's form. Then she approaches to stand at Blan's side, watching the ooze cautiously.

I'm pretty sure an "8" on the slam attack misses me, unless the modifiers are off on the roll.

Hakime, you can pick up Torrag's hammer instead of finding an improvised weapon. Do you want to run back since Blan is running away, or will you stand between Torrag and the ooze?

Hakime will pick up the hammer and stand between Torrag and the ooze for now. No wizard should be left to shoulder the frontline.

She will take a defensive stance and stands ready to back up a little after making an attack, assuming Torrag backs up some.

Van and Twitter continue to shoot at the ooze with magic. Torrag pulls back and hands Hakime his hammer, and the paladin bravely stands her ground against the ooze while Blan grows feathers and a beak.

Sure enough, the ooze slides towards Hakime and slams her with a pseudopod.
slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
I continue to be amazed. My last 3 attack rolls were 2,1,3.
Serenrae herself smiles upon her paladin for her courage, and the paladin glows briefly with a golden light that cows even the mindless ooze and causes its attack to fall short. The time displacement however prevents even the goddess from further direct intervention, and the glow quickly fades.

then never mind the attack, it will get an aoo if she moves closer, so instead she will back up, but remain between Torrag and the ooze.
