The main courtyard of the Grand Lodge is abuzz with activity today. At the edge of the bustle, a lone figure stands with his arms crossed and his feet floating just a few feet off the ground. As he observes the hurried preparations for the Pathfinder Society's next big venture, he muses to himself with feigned indifference, and just loudly enough that those nearest to him might be able to hear him if they really wanted to.
"So, at long last, the Pathfinder Society has reassembled the Numerian device known as the Sky Key. Initial tests suggest it is capable of projecting a location’s past into the present, allowing Society agents to peruse books from destroyed libraries and speak with echoes of long-dead heroes. Now that it has perfected the Sky Key’s controls, or so it believes, the Society is preparing to extract a slice of Absalom’s history and bring it into the present. However, there’s no telling what might be waiting inside—or who in the present might wish to wield the same power."
"Somehow, I doubt this will go as smoothly as Kreighton Shaine hopes."

I have heard it said that even a small change to history could result in alterations of a cataclysmic nature to the present and therefore the future as well. I'm not sure this is something we should be doing.. That said, however, I will go where the Crusade wills and work for the best possible outcome in their interests."

Twitter, I know you're being secretive about what your character is. That's fine, but I still need the basics up in your profile to show up under your name.
I need at least this:
Hit points, AC (Flat-footed and touch as well), CMD, Saves, perception, initiative, notes for the DM.
That applies for the rest of the players as well.

"Oh don't be so gloomy," a brightly-coloured little bird chirps as it flies to Ralph and alights on his shoulder.
"I have every confidence that something will go wrong. Something always goes wrong when we Pathfinders get involved. But we also always make things right in the end. It's kinda what we do."
"Well, ok, we make things sort-of alright in the end. Kinda. Most of the time. Sometimes."

We commence in a few days' time, so this looks like as good a time as any to start the roleplay. You can begin your character introductions.
Looks like Hakime and Twitter have already started.
"An astute observation, agent Hakime," Ralph replies, "which is why I hope you will all act judiciously when interacting with whatever pocket of the past the Sky Key conjures forth. I of course will be involved in scrutinising the bigger picture and identifying the extent to which the Sky Key allows us to alter the past. It could be dynamic, even cataclysmic, or it could be nothing at all. Let us Seekers worry about such things, and concern yourselves only with the tasks that Kreighton Shaine assigns you."
Ralph cracks a wry smile.
"Because as long as you do that, it is less likely that responsibility for whatever mishaps may occur will fall on you."
Ralph almost swats the little bird out of the air with his hand, but stops short when it starts to speak. His voice carries a hint of irritation when he replies.
"Ah yes... Twitter, was it? A colourful character, I hear, in more ways than one. Were it not for your association with Exiel, I would demonstrate why few would dare alight on my shoulder so casually. You would do well not to be so brazen when carrying out your tasks on this venture. My own association with Exiel means that anything that touches his reputation touches mine. And I am not amused when my reputation is touched."
"Hakime, you appear to have at least a smidge of sense, which is more than I can say for this one. I trust I can ask you to keep an eye her? If kept properly focused, she might be able bring... some benefits to your group."

"She is very pretty, and something of glass-half-full type I'm thinking, but if you say she is beneficial to our group, I will accept that. I trust you are right, as whatever her abilities and strengths might be, she wouldn't be here and with us if she weren't capable. I am interested to learn what she can do."
She turns to the small bird and says, "You are quite beautiful Twitter, and apparently smart (you DO talk after all). I am Hakime, and I look forward to getting to know you better as we undertake our next mission for the Society together."

"Oh, you're all buffle-headed and borrrr-ring," Twitter chirps as she wisely hops off Ralph's shoulder and alights on Hakime's instead.
"Hello, Hakky! Thanks! You're quite charming yourself. Do you like my feathers? You know, I'm a natural brunette, but I figured, hey, what's the use of being able to cast prestidigitation if you don't use it to make yourself look more interesting, you know? So now I'm a hoppin' flappin' canvas for my own bodyart, and I get to re-paint myself everyday!"
"I hope you don't mind me using your shoulder, by the way. Not like ol' fuddy-duddy here. See, there was this fox the other day, must have thought I was a snack or something and was trying to chase me! And then there was this monkey that was trying to catch me, and don't eeeeven get me started on the CATS. Seriously, you'd think the whole Grand Lodge was turning into a petting zoo, what with all these little animals running and flying about!" she chirps as she gestures animatedly with her wings, conspicuously missing the irony in her own statement.

"Since you are likely to be despatched in teams on this venture, perhaps we should see about gathering a few more to join your company. I suspect we will need more than just a tiefling and a bird before we can consider this team complete..."
"You may also find that there are several peddlers and vendors milling about attempting to make a profit from agents seeking last-minute purchases. This venture will commence shortly, so if you want to peruse their wares, now would be the time."
Waiting for the others to introduce themselves. Any last minute purchases should also be made now.

A number of wands hang from his belt, "Yo, I hope I'm not late yet. On the way over, I heard something about time travel. That be way cool or a real bummer. Probably a bit of both. Good to make the acquaintance of you cats...and bird."
Hmm, if I'm about to time travel, it might explain the time displacement problems I've had in previous missions. I'll call it, 'Temporal Backwash.' Nah, that's not technical enough.

Ralph cuts himself mid-sentence as he suddenly inclines his head in response to an unseen cue.
"Ah, it appears it is almost time. We should start moving, lest we be late for the big event!"
Without saying another word, Ralph beckons you to follow as he flies up above but otherwise joins the exodus of Pathfinder agents and seekers that has begun making its way from the grounds of the Grand Lodge.

You follow the procession through the streets of Absalom and out the city gates to a muddy plain five miles from the walls of city. The sun beats down as fellow Pathfinders gather on all sides, including well-traveled field agents and more permanent staff from the Grand Lodge itself. In the center of the field stands a wooden platform, raised some ten feet off the ground.
The excited chatter drowns out the buzz of summer insects as the gathered adventurers speculate on what’s to come.
You may attempt a diplomacy check to ask your fellow Pathfinders what they know. A knowledge of history and and arcana may also yield interesting information as you look around.

Torrag notices that there are several markings on the broad field. The markings form a series of circles, which are unusual for social gatherings but
standard for arcane rituals. The assemblage of circles suggests a conjuration ritual, but there are enough variations that even this seems unlikely. In fact, the markings across the field don’t align correctly for any sort of magical ritual. It seems to be something completely new!
Torrag also recalls that locals call this field the Bloodwatered Meadow. Many of the invading armies that tried to conquer Absalom assembled here before being defeated. But one of the most famous conflicts here did not even involve Absalom’s army. The Linnorm King Yardvun Skolson clashed with the Thuvian warlord Attagesha hundreds of years ago as both attempted to besiege the city at the same time but refused to share the glory with each. They crippled each other’s forces and were forced to retreat without ever attacking Absalom. More recently, an archeological excavation led by the Pathfinder Society uncovered truly ancient sites in the Bloodwatered Meadow. The exact age is unknown, but several building foundations and pieces of pottery seemed reminiscent of old Azlanti designs.
He is able to share all this information with the party.
That covers all the information available from knowledge checks. However, there are things not written in books that a friendly face can discover through word-of-mouth.

Highest diplomacy appears to be 15.
You hear that something has been abuzz around the Grand Lodge the past several weeks, keeping many Society scholars and casters busy and away from the public eye. This follows a recent conflict at the Grand Lodge that the Society kept from spilling into the rest of the city. However the incessant distractions caused by Twitter's flitting about prevents you from holding anyone's attention long enough to learn more.
No real penalty from Twitter's actions. Just harmless roleplay to explain your low rolls.
From above the crowd, a figure in black-and-gold robes descends to your motley gathering and hands out a few pouches.
"The Society's a little scarce on resources at the moment from pulling all of this together, so we've had to make some judgment calls about how to ditribute the limited supplies. Here's what you guys get."
He hands Twitter, Hakime and Van a belt pouch each.
The three of you each get an elixir that will grant you comprehend languages for 1 hour.
"I would suggest not using them all at once."
"Twitter, the items you requisitioned from the Exchange are in your pouch as well. But seeing as you might have trouble carrying it... perhaps you could ask one of your new friends to carry your pouch for you."
"One last thing," Ralph adds as he passes you a small token with the Glyph of the Open Road embossed on its surface. "On dangerous forays such as this, Seekers are sometimes assigned to help keep an eye on the agents. I will have my own duties, so I may not always be available. If you see the star on the glpyh glowing, it means that I am able to spare a few moments to dispense aid. Simply press on the star to bring my attention to yourselves. But you are not the only ones I am keeping an eye on, so only call on me if you think there is a genuine need."
This is just a means of keeping track of your aid token. When this table gets an aid token, I will tell you that the glyph's star has lit up.
Aid Tokens
Once per encounter, any character at a table can use an Aid Token to assist the group in one of five ways described below. Once a table uses an Aid Token, the token grants no further benefit until the end of the encounter, at which point one of the players can pass the Aid Token to a neighboring table for them to use. It is very important that the players remember that there are a limited number of Aid Tokens, and hoarding one means that somebody else doesn’t get to use it. An Aid Token’s benefits can take one of the following five forms.
Aid Another: Ralph gives advice via a sending spell to help you solve a puzzle, disable a trap, or accomplish some other task as if performing the aid another action for a PC. The bonus for this aid is +3.
Allied Offensive: Ralph happens to be in a battle nearby and spares a moment to direct a long-range magical attack on a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, the target is momentarily disoriented and anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
Burst of Healing: Ralph asks a nearby cleric to send a burst of positive energy through the token. This heals all of the PCs of 3d6 points of damage. Alternatively, Ralph can send one of these spells thorugh the token to one of you: neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease with a caster level of 6.
Spellcasting Synergy: Ralph sends a surge of magical energy through the token as you cast a spell increasing the save DC and caster level of the PC’s spell by 1.
Timely Inspiration: Ralph broadcasts the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. The competence bonus is +2.
"Now keep an eye on the stage. I expect Kreighton will be making an annoucnement shortly..." Ralph adds before leaving to speak with another group of Pathfinder agents.

You join the throng of Pathfinder agents rushing into the network of caves. Several entrances present themselves, and a few more experienced agents make some attempt to direct the groups into different tunnels to maximise your coverage of the tunnel network and make the most of the limited time you have here.
You are waved into one of the tunnels, and as you follow if the sounds of battle and ferocious roars fill the caverns. The tunnel you are waved into leads to a massive cavern filled with the stink of animal scat and rotting meat. Shelves, passageways, and fixtures have been carved into the wall by careful hands, each stylized to resemble a serpent’s head or body. Within the cavern, you see a lone ophidian humanoid coaxing a large lizard caoted with numerous bony plates, and when he sees you enter, he points a finger at you with a sibilant hiss.

"Hey Hakky, you seem like the clever sort who knows to keep herself away from men with pointy sticks. Do a bird a solid and carry this on your belt for me? Pleeeease?"
If Hakime agrees, Twitter will slip herself into the pouch as well and let Hakime carry her around. If not, Twitter will try asking Van and Torrag. If none of them agrees, she sulkily lugs her belt pouch as she flies over the party. She does not ask Blanmieux, as she identifies him as the kind of guy who would very likely carry her into all kinds of troublesome melee...

Twitter identifies the "snake-man" as a serpentfolk (1 question) and the "armadillosaur" as an ankylosaurus (2 questions).

I didn't give you time to cast buffs beforehand, so you can declare any hour-per-level and 10-minute-per-level buffs you want to have cast beforehand.
Torrag, you can have mage armor up and choose another action.
Twitter is able to tell the party that serpentfolk are immune to mind-affecting effects, paralysis and poison, and are also slightly resistant to spells (SR 15). Little wonder that they used to dominate the planet!
Twitter is also able to tell the party that ankylosauruses are (unsurprisingly) tough and hearty, but their beastial minds are susceptible to mental attacks (high fort; low will). Fortunately, they have no special defences apart from their exceptionally tough hide (very high natural armor).
Turn 1
Twitter
Big Lizard -5
Snake-man (5 images)
Torrag
Blanmieux -23
Van
Hakime
Spellcasters, you can declare hour-per-level and 10-minute-per-level buffs that you cast before entering the caves.
Torrag, you can take another action.
Van and Hakime, I need actions for round 1.
Twitter I need an action for round 2.

Before being transported back in time, Van would have used his wand of Mage Armor on himself. If that's an issue, he'll use it after this combat.
Van casts Glitterdust placing it to affect both the serpentfolk and the dinosaur, but not Blanmieux.
DC 16 Will saves or be blinded.

Torrag will cast Magic Missile at the serpentfolk, all at separate images.
In case he hits the real creature:
SR Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Missile 1: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Missile 2: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Missile 3: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
And if he can make the appropriate Knowledge Check on the Serpentfolk as well:
Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

Hakime happily agrees to carry Twitter's pouch, and welcomes the little bird to travel on her hip.
When the scaly folk come into view and attack, Hakime raises her bow and takes aim at the spellcasting lizard.
assuming MM hits unerringly it's target and it must target a living being, I will roll her image rolls as if there are still 4 images and the caster to strike
to hit: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 9 + 1 = 22
dmg if hits: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10
assuming a 22 hits, image or real? real is a 1: 1d5 ⇒ 1
to hit: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 9 + 1 = 26
dmg if hits: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8
assuming a 26 hits, image or real? real is a 1: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Hakime is right about mirror image and magic missiles. You want this spell to counter mirror image.
Torrag can also ask one question about the serpentfolk.
The cavern rises to about 50ft in the middle.
I will assume the spellcasters each take a 5ft step back so Hakime can avoid provoking from spellcasting.
Torrag's magic missiles streak towards the many images of the serpentfolk, and then suddenly each missile splits into 6, with one striking each serpentfolk, foiling his plan to work out the right one. Blanmieux shrugs his lance off his shoulder and attempts to stab the ankylosaurus with a powerful jab, but strikes one of the bony protrusions on the dinosaur and fails to pierce any flesh.
Van hops back cautiously and scatters magically-conjured glitter over the two prehistoric opponents.
will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Surprisingly it is the lumbering beast that is able to shake the glittering dust from its eyes, whilst the serpentfolk hisses in anger as he starts rubbing his eyes in vain. Hakime follows up with two arrows, one of which impales an image that disappears with a pop, and another that elicits a pained hiss and draws blood. Oddly, at the same instant the arrow strikes the serpentfolk, avian chirps are emitted from pouch at Hakime's waist, and the ankylosaurus winces in pain again.
The ankylosaurus looks around in confusion as it experiences phantom pains, but finally decides that Blanmieux is still the greatest apparent threat and decides to deal with him first.
attack: 1d20 + 14 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 14 - 2 - 2 = 13
damage: 3d6 + 12 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6, 4) + 12 + 6 = 34
Fortunately, the phantom attacks have sufficiently distracted the ankylosaurus. Its tail slams the ground beside Blanmieux and causes the ground to shudder beneath your feet, but fortunately no one is hurt by it.
Unable to see, the serpentfolk backs away a little and concentrates. Suddenly all 5 of the serpentfolk-images begin to shimmer and blur before your eyes.
will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
But the serpentfolk continues to stumble about carefully, clearly still unable to see.
Turn 2
Twitter
Big Lizard (glitter) -9hp
Snake-man (4 images, blur, glitterdust+blinded) -25hp
Torrag
Blanmieux -23hp
Van
Hakime
Dodged a painful tail. Actions for round 2, Twitter gets an action for round 3.

shouldnt it be 3 images remaining, so rolling a d4?
Hakime attacks again, shooting at the serpentfellow.
to hit: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 9 + 1 = 24
dmg if hits: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
hit an image or real, 1 is real: 1d4 ⇒ 1
miss chance from blur >20 hits: 1d100 ⇒ 75
to hit: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 1 = 27
dmg if hits: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
hit an image or real, 1 is real: 1d4 ⇒ 1
miss chance from blur >20 hits: 1d100 ⇒ 32
that should be 10 damage to him, since it bypassed all the spell effects

His spell created 5 images in addition to the real one. You popped one, so now there are 4 images and 1 real one. I didn't look too closely at your rolls for the images in your actions for round 1, so that was my fault.
And the GM rolls are not supposed to be looked at! I may not be rolling what you think I am rolling. :p
first shot: 1d5 ⇒ 3
Your first shot in round 2 will pop an image. The second shot will hit.

Knowledge Check Question: Spell Like Abilities?
Reason my Magic Missiles did no damage:
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30
Torrag conjures up an Acid Cloud (Green Circle)
Acid Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Plus Sickened for 1 round.
Lasts 1 round. Successful Fort Save DC 18 halves damage and negates sickened.
