[PFS PbP] 5-22: Scars of the Third Crusade (Inactive)

The fiery inquisitions that raged through Mendev during the Third Mendevian Crusade may have been damped but never truly extinguished. Fanatics have reignited the witch-hunts in eastern Mendev, and in doing so they have captured and accused allies of the Pathfinder Society. Unless the PCs intercede and put a stop to this mob justice, their allies' deaths will spark a new wave of internecine executions throughout

By the way, thanks for the heads up that the season six guide is out. Just finished going through it.

I have mixed feelings on the new factions. But fingers crossed they have some fun metaplot to unfold with it as the season progresses. And at least old faction traits are grandfathered in so my primary PC can keep her Andoran trait for longbow profiency.

I don't like the new name for the Osirion faction. Jeweled Sages would have been a better name.

I've updated Vincent. The silver blanch will be used on the cold iron arrows before we start.

I do like that the factions are no longer based on nationality...character backstories will make more sense. Now all we have to do is justify why all these Wayangs are running around!

So my question was never answered... I'm confused by the replayability of some modules but not others. If I play this module with one of my other characters, can I still play it with this one?

I am almost certain it is not. And Saera said it was not. Sorry :/

But you can go have a blast playing it at GenCon and then hop in for the next PbP scenario :)

Scenarios are replayable when they're for level 1 characters only. Modules for level 1-2 characters are replayable for level 1 characters, but may be played only once with a level 2 character.

This scenario is for level 1-5 so it's not replayable :(

Still reading through the scenario and strategizing how best to handle the social encounters. I'll resolve the Diplomacy & K: Local checks tomorrow afternoon to give everyone a chance to check in and make their own rolls or assist others.

My apologies for dropping out of touch. Real Life (tm) kept distracting me and I kept thinking I'd be able to get a real post in.

...and I guess while we're all still here feel free to let me know if there any scenarios you'd like to play. Some lend themselves better to PbP than others...but there are a few "classics" that work well.

I'd love to play one of the new season 6 scenarios. Otherwise any of the season 5 scenarios I haven't played would also be nice. The Stolen Heir seems fun :)

Looks like the next PbP Game Day is scheduled to start October 5th. Anyone have any preferences from the following:

4-15: The Cyphermage Dilemma
4-18: The Veteran's Vault
2-11: The Penumbral Accords
1-55: The Infernal Vault
0-13: The Prince of Augustana

Some of these run pretty quickly…which means we could run a second and maybe a third game before the event ends; giving us all an opportunity to win more boons.

I'm currently playing The Cyphermage Dilemma, and have already played The Prince of Augustana. I'd very much like to play the others. It'd be awesome it we could play 2, or perhaps even 3 games! :)

I'll let you know I've GM'd The Veteran's Vault once, last Game Day, but I'll separate that knowledge from my character's.

Has there been an official announcement of the 3rd Game Day yet? I can't seem to find one.
