Reta cheers and starts a chant
Poog! Poog! Poog! Poog!
and convinces the crowd to raise him on their shoulders and carry him around, before remembering that she is the HEROEIST HERO OF ALL and dropping him unceremoniously to the ground.

![]() |

Having rubbed himself with some pig grease actually make Poog more slippery then he already was (For another +2 bonus on all his checks) causing him to only slide through the earbiter without ever getting caught (The first 3 attempts are good enough already, so no need for the next 2 dice rolls anymore)
Then after getting clear of the last sharp bits Poog is led to in front of the Chief and recieves out of the hands of Slorb;
One of the tribe's most coveted items—the Chief’s Personal Very Useful Robe That Is Useful.
This is a robe of useful items that has only four patches left—a ladder, a three-legged turtle, a horseshoe, and a bullhorn.
"This is for you sneaky goblin to use while getting fireworks, then you gives it back again. Gives it back when you get back!"

Chuffy Licklots |

Chuffy is clearly liking all this attention so he will stay reasonably late and takes another gulp of the cider for good effect.
fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
He becomes wobblier the night goes on and eventually falls asleep with the rest of the party goers near a fire while sucking on a large pigs legbone.

![]() |

Reta DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY, finally passing out very late on top of Chuffy.

![]() |

After you finish partying/take a nap to rest real good you show up at the Chief house the next day he tells you:"Get fireworks and bring them here to me. Takes these for help"
He has Slorb hand you a few pieces of fireworks! Two sticks of spew shiny balls, four small booms and one BIG Ba-Boom!
(two Desnan candles, four paper candles, and a skyrocket)
Each of you rushes forward to get as much fireworks as you can get, each of you manages to get one of small booms and
Reta=1, Poog=2, Mogmurch=3, Chuffy=4 3d4 ⇒ (2, 3, 3) = 8
Poog manages to get one of the sticks that spew shiny balls while Mogmurch manages to not only get the other stick, but also the BIG Ka-Boom!
1 hp of damage should be healed if you rested in case you took any damage while doing the dares

![]() |

Reta rushes in to the Moot House out of breath and late.
Did I miss anything? Reta overslep...er, Reta was ATTACKED BY ELVES and delayed by killing them and disposing of bodies so NO ONE EVER FINDS THEM!
Looking at the boomsticks of various flavors that Poog and Mogmurch got, she prostrates herself before Chief Gutwad.
O Great and Powerful Chief! Give to Reta more boomsticks and Reta will kill many dogs with them. Reta totally promises!
She then belches loudly and falls asleep for a few seconds before waking with a start and announcing,
Did I miss anything?

Chuffy Licklots |

Chuffy also comes in late and out of breath, since Reta was on top of him and he woke up by the cold. He is still holding his pigs legbone btw.
"Chuffy is never late *huff puff*, nor is he early, *wheeze* he arrives precisely when he means to!"
As he bends over trying to catch his breath, he releases a very smelly fart (one of those squeeky long ones) from all the cider he drank last night. And then he giggles.
If there is an open flame in the tent he stands in front of it and tries to release another fart into the flame.

Reta stares blankly for a moment before remembering who actually has the map. Removing it from under her veil, she examines it and says,
We goooooooo....THIS WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!
and dashes off, wooting.

![]() |

Wait!
Reta stops, spins the map 180 degrees, stares at it a moment, and runs back the way she came.
THIIIIIIIIISSSSSSS WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!

![]() |

The journey to the fireworks stash, as indicated on the map which is easily followed if someone other then Reta takes a look at it..or a bit difficult to read when Reta is looking at it, is relatively short—a slog not quite a mile-long through the swamp along the creek’s southern bank. The journey takes only an hour to make. The marsh itself is relatively difficult to navigate, with numerous stretches of deep water that must be skirted and thick tangles of stinging nettles.
Then suddenly as your walking a large spider (Lotslegs Eat Goblin Babies Many) jumps out from a tree and hisses at you
The giant spider known as Lotslegs has dwelt in central Brinestump for years, but only recently has she grown large enough to become a legitimate threat to the Licktoad goblins. The spider often lurks along creeks and other well-traveled routes, and her growing taste for goblins has evolved beyond eating goblin young.

When it is his turn. Chuffy tries his best to stab the big spider from behind (flank). If he cannot get a flank straight away he delays until Reta took her turn, taunting her to attack the spider because Reta is so great and brave. Then Chuffy goes into flanking position and attack. Or if that is not possible, go safely around the big spider and wait a turn from a distance and sneak next turn. Chuffy is not stupid ;).
writing this in advance in case I am not on time. If I am I will write something proper

Reta cowers behind Poog, saying
Eeek! It Lotslegs Eat Goblin Babies Many!! Poog promised to kill!
and pushes Poog forward. As they jostle, Mogmurch and Lotslegs have time to act.

Poog of Zarangul |

"You hide behind me cute Greta, I protect you!" Poog whispers and draws his dogslicer. "Wait and see what Lotslegs do and then we jump on it and stab it to death!"

![]() |

PROTECT me??? Ha! Reta is HEROIEST HERO OF ALL.
She jostles with Poog some more, this time attempting clumsily to get past him, allowing even more time for Mogmurch and Lotslegs to act.
@GM, is this rough terrain? Is Charge possible?

![]() |

The trees provide cover and are difficult terrain and the little stream at the side are difficult terrain. The big tree stump in the sw corner is blocking. The brown thing in the se corner is a bunch of mud. Difficult terrain, no cover. The rest if firm enough ground to make charging possible. If Mogmurch hasn't acted by the time I've gotten home and had dinner I'll put him in delay and move the scenario forward.

Mogmurch bomb scatters 1d8 ⇒ 2 away from the spider landing too far away from it to even caught the spider in the blast
Mogmurgh, you might want to move closer to your target the next time you throw a bomb, it will scatter farther away when you have more range increasements for your throw
The spider seems to have gotten mad about the explosion near it and rushes forward to try to bite Reta
Try to bite Reta: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

I'm afraid you have to help me throught casting spells, I never casted spells before.
Poog looks at Reta in front of him bleeding heavily. He tries to heal her. "No worries dear, everything be fine soon."
Cast Cure Light Wounds on Reta: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
It is a prepared spell I think, do I need a concentration check for this one?

[dice=Heal Greta Concentration]1d20+3
[dice=Heal Greta]1d8+1It is a prepared spell I think, do I need a concentration check for this one?
Not a problem, we're here to help
Concentration checks are in most cases only required when your in some sort of danger
-next to an enemy and you want to cast on the defensive
-you have ongoing damage, like being on fire
-your in violent motion, riding a horse, on a ship during a storm, stuff like that
In this case you don't need to make a concentration check, so your good there.
There is a skill called heal, so it will get confusing when you call your spell heal as well (not to mention the lvl 5 or 6 spell which is called heal ;) . The spell you want to cast is called cure light wounds and Poog indeed has one prepared. You're of course free to describe and/or call what your doing as anything you want when your in character, but please put the actual term somewhere with OOC information so everyone knows what's going on ;)
If you have any more you are not clear on, let us know

![]() |

Thanks for the explanation, I changed it in the original post. Is it ok now? If a spell was prepared and then casted, do I need to prepare it again?
Short answer - yes :) Slightly more explanation, as a cleric you need to pray to your god for about an hour to get new spells each day, you can pick which spells you want , switching spells out you didn't use the day before. So your not stuck with what ever spells you happend to start with. You need to have had a good amount of rest to be able to get your spells (most cases 8 hours of sleep).
In case you'd want to heal more, Poog also has a wand of cure light wounds, with 9 charges. Works pretty much the same as casting the spell, but the charges run out and don't refresh and you need to have the wand in your hand to be able to cast the spell

Chuffy Licklots |

Chuffy is not about to attack that big spider up front, it might bite him and Chuffy does not want to get bited!
He walks around the spider all sneaky like and jabs his dogslicer at the spiders legs repeatedly.
( He walks around outside of threat range into a flank position. )
"Chuffy stab you quick quick quick!"
attack rol: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 (Damn missed confirmation by 1 :()

Chuffy does some good damage to the leg and one leg comes clean off.
"Haha now youse name is NotSoLotsLegs!"
However, the spider is still alive and looks at Chuffy while angrily clicking its fangs. Chuffy realizes his mistake, he hides his dogslicer behind his back and points to Poog.
"He dids it!"

Gorge Of Gluttons: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 20 Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5
Reta gets all stabby up in the hoo. And the poison coursing through her veins...
Fortitude: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
..is making her feel a little woozy.
Edit: add +2 flanking to hit bonus. Thanks, Chuffy!

Chuffy Licklots |

(Don't forget flanking bonus Reta ;). Check the map.)

Not everyones is sneaky-sneaky-stabby types, Chuffy. I don't gets no bonus for dats. Besides, I kinda busy being eatened by NotsoLotsLegs right now.
Unless I missed something?

Even loud stinky horses get +2 to hit from being in a flanking position. However, only sneaky-sneaky-stabby types get more damage from it

You may still have a chance, Poog. Chuffy's "Spider dies" action is only *if* the spider dies. That's why it's in a spoiler.

What's that, Spotol my pretty? You smell spider eggses this way? Good toadie! Here's a nice juicy horsefly for you.
Reta digs a buzzing, angry horsefly from one of her many pocketses and feeds it to her pet toad. She digs another horsefly out.
And one for mama. (Crunch! Crunch! Gulp!) Yummy! Let's go find spider eggses!
She sets off in the direction indicated by the toad (apparently they have a special goblin/toad secret language, or possibly Reta is just psychotic), and...

Reta was getting there eventually. Whose knows? Could still be over here. Never knows. Could be anywheres.
As Reta talks she wanders over to where Mogmurch found the nest.
Oh, here's it is! RETA FOUNDS IT! Don't worry, Reta founds the nest.
Reta grins with pride.

You move about 200ft through soggy, mossy tree branches before you reach an area consisting of a deadfall of several old trees.Scattered amid the trees are dozens of bodies, some of which are goblins, but a few of which are humans.
24 gp, a Small masterwork light crossbow with 11 bolts, a single pearl (worth 100 gp), 4 potions, and a wax-paper-sealed package containing six pieces of licorice-flavored taffy (this taffy is strong enough to remove any lingering sickened effects left over from the previous night’s bonfire events).
Identifying Potions:
-Mogmurch being a crafy Alchemist can use craft alchemy to identify them
-Or someone can use Spellcraft to try to identify them
-In addition to the standard methods of identification, PCs can sample from each container they find to attempt to determine the nature of the liquid inside with a Perception check. The DC of this check is equal to 15 + the spell level of the potion (although this DC might be higher for rare or unusual potions).
You can pick one of them without the others knowing, but since it's all over the area..you can't do that without others noticing something at some point.
