(PFS/PBP/Roll20) The Sarkorian Prophecy [10-11 Tier] (Inactive)

When a novice Pathfinder in the Grand Lodge of Absalom discovers an account of a long lost prophecy which may hold the key to defeating the Shadow Lodge, a team of brave agents heads into the heart of the Worldwound to recover the document. Not only do the forces of the Abyss and the demon-tainted environment stand in their way, but so does a rival team of Pathfinders set on recovering the Sarkorian Prophecy first.

As I read it, I can choose to target a specific spell effect with a dispel magic. The only real difference is then it has no chance to affect something else if I fail.

Ok, my bad. I thought you could target the spell effect like the fact that he is flying. But apparently, you have to know the exact spell used. I will get close enough to use a different spell next round.

An eidolon vanishes, but I thought summoned creatures fight on for the duration. Not true?

Yeah, if the fireball took down the witch, then Exiel will run-fly back in the other direction.

With the threat of the spellcaster eliminated, Exiel does a wingover and speeds back towards the demons as quickly as his wings will take him.

Alden can hear his friends being ripped apart but can do literally nothing about it! However, he will charge into the darkness hoping to bull-rush one of the devils if nothing else.

Alden is going to charge Naala straight for where he say the devil last. It will get an attack of opportunity on Naala, but at least it may distract them from killing his allies.

Alden sees the blue demon burst forward out of the darkness, stopping 5 feet away from him. Then everything goes dark. In the confusion of the swarm crawling over his skin. He feels the attack of the Yellow demon as it swipes at him. But the demon misses him.

Ralph grins when he realises that spell that is stored on Caggrigar's scroll. He was not helpless just yet. He spends the rest of the round gathering Caggrigar's gear, especially the prophecies if he finds them, and next round will start to fly back to the others.

Forgot about the AoO from the Yellow Demon

As Alden flees from the darkness, the Yellow Demon swipes at him with his claws. attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 271d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 but misses.

As everyone else races back to the battle. The Yellow demon runs out of the darkness and once again, darkness envelopes the battle field. The swarm moves towards Alden. The Blue demon sneaks up behind and attacks.

Yeah I'll be taking the run action. 90 ft away should put me in charging distance if I can get a clear line. Can I confirm that the level of darkness is now normal darkness rather than supernatural darkness (meaning it is one step lower than 'dark')? If it is normal darkness, my darkvision should still be effective. If not, I'll probably try a glitterdust.

IF you were double moving starting from the 4th round, you are 180 closer to the battle at the end of round 6. If you have haste, you are another 90 closer. You are either 220 feet away or 130 feet away from the action. I didn't scale up the map to include the entire 450 foot range.

Alden moves to trip the demon. Since his ally isn't there until his allies turn. And he is in darkness. Naala's attack strikes, enhanced by scent, strikes home. dealing 8 damage to the demon, but failing to trip it.

Lavode now flies up and illuminates the battle field.

Aram is now in between 130 feet and 220 feet, depending on if he has haste or not.

I'm having a hard time understanding the map, so I'm going to ignore it - GM, please feel free to put me in the right spot. I have no idea what all the dark grey lines are... there should be two darkness/dim areas, right?

Aram will move (60' due to haste) towards the closest visible demon, using a swift action to change my protection judgement to smiting. He will fire a single cold iron (magic, good-aligned, seeking, demon bane) arrow at it.

arrow, haste, judgement, -2 range: 1d20 + 15 + 1 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 1 + 2 - 2 = 31damage (magic, good, ignores concealment: 1d6 + 7 + 2 + 4d6 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 + (4, 6, 6, 1) = 27

There are multiple areas of darkness. The demons cast darkness at several occasions. Each gray square is an area of darkness, where the light level is dark. Anything within the light blue square is up one level, to dim.

will saves:

Yellow will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
blue will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Both demons fail save and become blinded. The yellow demon mutters something under his breath, something that sounds like blindness. Then he casts a spell.

Dispel Magic:

attempt: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

The Yellow demons communicates (telepathically) to try the same.

The blue demon steps back 5 feet and tries the same.

Dispel Magic:

attempt: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

The blue demon is successful in his attempt. They are still covered in glitter, but they are no longer blinded.
