The Segang Expedition
Rumors of a lost shrine in the Segang Jungle draw the Pathfinder Society’s attention, but the prohibitive cost of sending a team into the wilds of Jalmeray threatens to shut down the expedition before it even begins. Fortunately, a wealthy patron has offered to fund the PCs travel expenses in return for their help in his decades-old quest. Can the Pathfinders balance this new obligation with their exploration of the archaeological site?
Content in “The Segang Expedition” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Sovereign Court faction.

Looking for interested Pathfinders to set out on this expedition starting on September 19th as part of the PBP Gameday IV event. This scenario was my favorite of the past season and I look forward to GMing it for all of you!
For now if you're interested, please respond with your PC's Character name, race, and class levels.

Hi Zoomba,
I'm potentially interested but had a few questions first:
- What sort of posting speed are you expecting from us and what sort of posting speed should we be expecting of you?
- How do you plan on doing maps?
- (And for some levity) Who's your favorite Iconic?
- Any particular quirks in how you want things done?
- I have played part of this scenario before and would be using a GM star to replay. If that is at all an issue I'm happy to step aside.

Welcome aboard Tatiana! I remember adventuring alongside Ms Ungaro with a certain Wayang in a library once. All those poor burned books....
And Pirate Rob, I'd ask for, in general, a post a day or more. Obviously we all have other lives and sometimes RL can intervene, so if there's ever an issue or a stretch where your participation may have to slow down a bit, just let me know and we'll try to adjust. the Gameday runs 3 months, so we should have plenty of time to spare :) In return, I too will be posting at least once a day, possibly more if there's an important RP back-and-forth where flow is important.
As far as maps, I'm going to be posting them in Google Docs, with a link to the current map at the top of the campaign. No particular quirks in style; like a lot of PbPs on here I'll roll passive checks (Perception, Initiative, etc), but if there's any issue or something you'd like/need to change let me know. I'm new to PbP GMing, so I'm open to new ideas.
Using a replay for this won't be a problem either.
And for Iconics, I'd have to go with Kess. Gotta love an adventurer who spends a good amount and time and energy hiding from a life of luxury because she'd really just rather punch things.

Thanks Zoomba for taking the time to answer my questions.
I'm actually more concerned about a game going too slowly than too fast.
I'll go ahead and sign up.

Still here, just being more hands off since the PbP was (at the time) multiple weeks away :)
Xynen, still room, and I'd be glad to have you onboard.
Looking at this point like we'll be running low-tier. Still one slot free, if anyone else is interested! In either case, the Expedition begins on Saturday.

And Bennybeck Wabbittracks makes 6!
So our adventuring party will be:
1. Tatiana - Arcane Healer
2. Sparkle-Weave - Summoner 4
3. Zedorland (Silass?) - Bloodrager 2/3
4. Shonne - Ranger 2
5. Hangust - Barbarian 1
6. Bennybeck Wabbittracks - Thief 2
Feel free to dot in in the gameplay and discussion threads.

Thanks for responding Pirate Rob. The link provided didn't help. For some reason I can access the tabs but I can't post in them. when I hit submit, it refreshes and my post remains separate from the rest. When I log out and back, the post I submitted is gone. I can post in this thread and in others that I am currently playing in. I am not sure how to fix this.
It seems like my post is in some sort of permanent preview mode.

Weird.
Assuimng you can post, starting a thread in the CS forums may be your best bet. Although if you can't post there then email.
You can also try things like deleting Paizo cookies or deleting cached files.
