"Don't ya worry 'bout yer pet dinosaur, sweetie, she looks to me like she's fixin to take a nap real soon!"

On Agata's turn - unless the situation has changed dramatically and she is needed for something else - she'll slumber hex Nalshene (DC 27) - and since she might as well, she'll Split Hex and also slumber any one enemy that is within 30' of both Agata and Nalshene. Also DC 27. And she'll also Cackle to extend the Misfortune on the two androids.

@Agata: I think you meant you'll slumber hex Narshala, cuz if you slumber Nalshene that'd be bad. :-P That said, I fully endorse Agata putting my dinosaur to sleep if she's going to attack us.

Marduk was going to wrestle it into submission but slumber hex probably works just as well.

Urko & Agata:
[ooc]You are both now convinced that these androids are not androids. They behave more like Ostiarius Kytons. Agata, you have 4 questions from the table (which I'll link up when I get a chance, and Urko, you get a chance to roll to find out how many questions you might ask[ooc]

One of the remaining oozes crackles with energy and Urko finds his Lucky number to be dispelled. Meanwhile Narshala attacks Nalshene, inflicting grievous wounds, but stopping short from killing her master, as she herself take.

Looking at the room in front of him, Urko's gaze sweeps across dozens of glass chambers which line the curving wall of this gallery. Within these chambers hang transparent coffinlike containers, inside which float half-formed humanoid bodies whose limbs and organs are strangely glossy and weirdly unreal in appearance. The glass chambers seem to have withstood the assault of Nalshene's illusory fireball. In the far back corner of the chamber lays another opening in which shapes, shadows begin to move. Fleshy pods seem top adorn the walls of that far chamber.

Nalshene, after taking several horrifying hits from her companion, is looking bad. How have I not grabbed a wand of cure light with her?
Ugh.

"Any strong healing I could have? Otherwise, I have some weak healing magic of my own." I can cast cure light on myself up to 6 times thanks to my 1 Oracle level.

EDIT: Oh, we're not out of combat yet. Nalshene will attempt that dispel now.

I knew something was amiss with the dinosaur. By the power of Abadar I can heal you, but is the saurian situation mitigated? I cannot repair damage as fast as it causes it.
Also, we still have the kytons, a few flying brains and our missing host, the Deacon to address. And who knows what else lurks in this house of horrors.

Hugo has one heal spell, and can channel/cast cures...

Posting now because I expect limited access for the next 12 hours or so. Btw, the initiative tracker just above says round 3 but isn't this round 4? When Sweet Mawd's spot in the initiative comes up, she'll delay until just after Agata's turn (so basically they just swap places in the init order) to allow Agata a chance to slumber hex Narshala. Assuming that the slumber is successful, Sweet Mawd will fly to the square that Nalshene is in (she's tiny and her Long Arm buff was only 15 minutes from when we entered the Mount, so I assume it's gone by now), drawing a wand of Cure Moderate Wounds as she goes, and then use the wand on Nalshene. She takes care to remain 15' up in the air while passing the Purple android's reach, but she will also use Acrobatics to avoid any possible AoO, just in case (she has 80' fly speed, so plenty of movement to use Acrobatics and still reach Nalshene). Alternatively, if the slumber hex does not put Narshala to sleep, Sweet Mawd will retrieve her scroll of Unbreakable Heart and cast it on Narshala.

Acrobatics to avoid any AoO from movement: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (10) + 24 = 34
Healing from Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 6) + 3 = 15

"Dear, dear, dear, this place is dreadful! Mistress, are you sure that you and your friends wouldn't like to go someplace more civilized? It's almost teatime...!"

Nalshene, your pet seems to be out of control. Artemis, take her!

Urko directs Artemis to grapple Narshala, she has the grapple check so it does not require a push.

Some of these brain creatures are being rather persistent, let us see if we can do something about that...

With a flick of the wrist Urko calls down a pillar of silent, silver flames onto the remaining brains, searing them with holy light!

Swift action to cast quickened Flame Strike. 15d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 2, 2, 1, 5, 4, 3, 1, 4, 3, 1, 6, 1) = 47 damage, half is flame, half is holy. DC30 reflex save for half. The quicken is free to apply due to spell perfection.

Urko then casts anther spell, his hands are engulfed in glowing silver light. He flies over Artemis and places a hand of Nalshenes shoulder. The light flows from him to cover her. Be well little one..

Urko defensively casts heal and moves over to Nalshene, delivering the spell onto her. The movement provoke from Narshala

Urko casting heal on Nalshene will change Sweet Mawd’s action (assuming this fully heals her). I’ll wait to see the situation when her turn comes up, but at the very least she’ll delay to see if Agata is able to put the dinosaur to sleep (which she will do regardless of the result of Artemis’ grapple).

Narshala's jagged teeth cannot penetrate Urko's defenses as he moves over to Nalshene and heals her wounds. Artemis, at her master's command, goes to grapple the dragon-dinosaur. Narshala hisses but is soon grappled by the large feline. Sweet Maud decides that waiting might be the better option at this point, as her mistress puts Narshala to sleep. Meanwhile, Nalshene manages to remove the domination effect on her companion, but only just.

Just as an FYI, announcing actions before your turn can throw me off. So I might lose some of what's happening.

Agata:
Special Attacks: Compel Courage - An ostiarius can inspire courage as a 5th-level bard using bardic performance, granting a +2 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +2 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. This ability has a range of 50 feet and affects those creatures the ostiarius chooses who also willingly accept the benefits of the effect (no saving throw required). The ostiariuss performance compels creatures to perform at dangerous extremes. Any living non-outsider that benefits from this ability takes 1 point of bleed damage. A creature that accepts these benefits for multiple consecutive rounds gains additional points of bleed damage that stack with one another (to a maximum of 5). This is an audible, mind-affecting effect and can be countered by a bards countersong class feature.
Unnerving Gaze - A creature that succumbs to an ostiariuss unnerving gaze becomes sickened for a number of rounds. This is a mind-affecting fear effect. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Special Defenses: Regeneration 2 (good weapons and spells)
Resistances: None
Immunities: cold, magic missile

Marduk, when you get a chance, could you specify when you cast some of your buffs? They are listed as TBD on the bufflist. Thanks!
Just to be clear: Nalshene did blast that Dominate Animal away, and she knows that. Apart from some opponents who are out for the count at this time, there are no opponents capable of fighting you, except for that brain-ooze.

A scream of pain echoes from beyond the resilient sphere as the unconscious kyton's wounds close a little more. The brain crackles with arcane energy and the stoneskin on Artemis vanishes. Unwilling to become tiger chow, the ooze zips off to the group's right. In the sphere, the other kyton hisses at the Pathfinders. Venture-Captain Hugo's spell gives him the sense that the most direct route would be through the resilient sphere, but that an alternate route might be found by going south into the room with the brain ooze "statue" and hugging the right. Well, while it might seem that the fight in this room is over, I am keeping track of rounds for a few reasons. If you do not feel like the fate of the Deacon is of concern, that is fine by me. I also hinted at perhaps other things happening. And of course Resilient Sphere is only a temporary solution.

I suppose it would be rude to not take advantage of Hugo’s Find the Path. Disregard my last post.

Giga-Marduk ignores the subdued dinosaur in favor of the remaining enemies. Moving at a fervored pace, he turns the corner and fires a volley of flames at the remaining brain.

Moving 70 feet with blessing of fervor. Firing a scorching ray at the purple brain.

Urko leaps onto Artemis, come girl, we shall find out just what is going on here. It is time these deceptions were ripped away. Leave the dinosaur be, it seems to be subdued.

He mutters another incantation and the two of them seem to dissolve, their forms breaking up into little more than dust and they easily slide out of the chamber through the narrow door. Rounding the corner and seeing the remaining ooze Urko directs Artemis to the attack.

Marduk, this corridor seems to lead to the other side of the sphere, perhaps the Deacon can be found there?

Mechanics:
Urko takes the AC bonus from blessing. He mounts Artemis as a free action with a ride check he cannot fail. He casts Dust Form on both of them as a standard action, it is Personal and has no SR therefore he can easily spell share it with Artemis. He then recovers his morning star from the weapon cord.

Dust Form:
Upon casting this spell, you keep your relative form, but you and your equipment become composed entirely of dust. While in this dust form, you take no penalties for squeezing, and can move through spaces as if you were a creature three size categories smaller without penalty. You are also considered incorporeal, though any nonmagical attack you make deals half damage (50%). Magic attacks are unaffected, and you can still use your magic items and other equipment as normal.

If the duration ends in a square that your normal space cannot occupy, you take 3d6 damage and are shunted to the nearest open space that you can normally occupy.

Hugo watches as Urko and Artemis head off in the direction he pointed.

Turning to the others he indicates the 3 Kytons on the floor and the one in the bubble.

What of these others? We do not want them to awaken and approach us from our unprotected flank. How long will they be out? Will we have time to come back for them? Nalshene, will your companion be ok sleeping?

If the dominate has been removed, is it a simple matter/move to just wake up the dinosaur? If not, and if we want to bring it, can a sleeping dinosaur be a 'willing' recipient of a dimdoor spell?

Confirmed that it’s easy to wake Narshala. Strongly think we should not leave the kytons behind us and don’t think we can cdg one of them without dismissing the resilient sphere, at which point I think he is still dangerous. Also, didn’t we hear an indication that more bad guys are seen just beyond the brain room, already on the move? Agata continues to cackle, amused by the thought of dead kytons.

I agree with not leaving them, unless they are unconscious for many minutes or hours. I expected color spray to only last a few rounds, but if that is not the case, then we may not need to dispatch them yet. Not much to do for the one in the bubble. We also do not want the party to get too separated.

"We shouldn't leave enemies behind us-- especially not evil outsiders," Miranda says pointedly. While brandishing a now-blessed rapier. She drives it into the skull of the purple not-really-an-android.

"How long's that sphere going to last? Can you get rid of it? I don't mind stabbing that one while this enchantment is still up on my sword, but we need to decide what we're doing or leave the other one to potentially ambush us later... maybe with friends."

It will indeed only last a few rounds, so they'll wake up soon. The sphere is minutes per level, so that guy's out of the fight for at least 15 more minutes.

Nalshene will leave the killing in cold blood to others in her party.

Just want to be sure that I'm up to date on where things stand:

A) in the chapel we've still got 3 bad guys: a Pink Ostarius "android" Kyton who is barely damaged and is conscious, but is trapped in a resilient sphere for 15 more minutes (unless it gets dispelled); and two unconscious Sacristan Kytons (Blue and Red), both of whom are currently unconscious but are otherwise undamaged and who will wake up in a few more rounds. Otherwise, the rest of the original chapel bad guys are dead.

B) The Deacon is somewhere to the West and we hear him crying out for assistance.

C) Some other undetermined shapes have been seen moving beyond the room where the brains were. Does that mean in the room to the south of that room? And are they still seen by any of our party?

D) Part of the party has moved into the brain room, looking for the Deacon, while some of the party is still dealing with dispatching the Kytons.

Does that all more or less sound like where things stand right now? Assuming so, Agata says,

"Well now, well now, I hate to leave a rotten kyton behind while 'e's still breathin', but it ain't like ole Agata to let her friends go on wit'out her, neither. C'mon Sweet Mawd, we mustn't lag now."

They hasten in to the next room, observing to their friends that Miranda is still back there, dealing with the unconscious Kytons.
