I have a level 7 warpriest, a tough hard to kill dwarf, or a level 8 magus. The thing about the Magus is that I've only really played in face to face games so he is not ready to go and it will take me a day or two to make him ready. So if you don't mind a short wait I'll play the Magus.

Do bear in mind that we'll most likely be playing tier 10-11, but otherwise play whichever character you prefer. We're in for the long haul here, so starting a day later won't make a difference.

It looks like we have 3 10's and a 9 so far. Even with two 7's we end up at TPL53, so APL9 and with 6 we play high tier.

Lots of casters. We may as well coordinate spells.
Sadly illusion is a barred school for me or I would have some improved invis for our rogue.

Nuar is heavily focused on evocation spells in general and Fireball in particular. He can alter his elements and has help bypassing SR but Golems are the bane of his existence.
Burst of Radiance on our enemies is sort of like casting improved invisibility on our Rogue so I'll take multiples of those.
I'll probably take at least 2 Haste. We are in Cheliax so a Dimensional Anchor could come in handy. D-Door in combat makes me nervous but it is a good utility spell.
I will of course have a few of my Empowered Intensified Fireballs memorized. Good for softening up multiple enemies.

We're not in Cheliax, we're (if I'm not mistaken) in Belkzen - the Inner Sea's official all-purpose Orc Department. It's just that Cheliax has a military presence here.
I am a Time Witch, so I've got a few cool spells other Witches don't - including silence, haste, and, as of my latest level, teleport. I have pretty much nothing in the way of illusion, a little but not much in the way of mind control, and I never bothered with most monster-summoning (I've got a Summoner and a Wayang Shadow Puppeteer for that). Other than that, I've got plenty of destruction, divination, necromancy, healing/warding (and my Osirion-Specific Boon from the Year of the Risen Rune makes me exceptionally good at removing curses), Chaos magick, and just plain weirdness.

I should probably mention. Nuar has 2 Selective rods and 1 merciful but he can't use both at once. With most characters I would just ask if you are willing to be caught in the blast and we'll heal you later. But with Nuar that is a bad idea.

How accurate is the map in appearance? The text describe a lot of destruction but on the map most of the buildings seem to be in good shape and those rows of crops seem viable.

Btw the campaign clarifications have been updated to explicitly state that wrist sheaths and the spring-loaded version thereof can store a scroll or potion but not a rod.

I think it's the chronology of the events that occurred before you arrived that's throwing you for a loop. Heralt's body never mentioned the meteor smashing into and under the fort for example, since he died before it opened up Akila's tomb.
Talk about deus ex machina. :P

I plan on retraining a feat on this chronicle. Can you please note 5pp and 450gp spent on retraining improved initiative to improved spell sharing. I shall also be buying a horsemaster's saddle.

I don't level after this part but nothing says I can't add a spell or 2 to my book. Can anyone think of any spells the group could use? Enchantment and Illusion are barred for Nuar.

The best spells for a spellcaster of your level are ones that have 1 hour or 10 minute/level duration. There is no way you can cast all your spells in combat so it it a good idea to do long term buffs with the extras. And then spread them liberally among the other members of your party.

I have a level 14 Wizard that focuses on buffs. I don't mind doing some buffing with Nuar, That's why I took Life Bubble. But most of the good buffs are single target. Communal Resist Energy maybe? It would only be for resist 20.

Heightened awareness, Corruption resistance, See Invisible, Tongues, Heroism, Greater Magic Weapon are all good choices.
Get a ring or ioun stone of spell storing and use it to allow the fighters to cast personal spells on themselves. You can burn through a heck of a lot of spells that way.

Heightened Awareness works fine as a wand.
Corruption resistance Way too narrow.
See Invisible Already have scrolls of it.
Tongues You don't want Nuar to do the talking. Though it is a good scroll for charisma based casters to have.
Heroism Barred school.
Greater Magic Weapon Nuar only grants +2. He'll be retired before he gets to +3. Though if any of us are using a +1 weapon with mods the extra +1 couldn't hurt.
I'm not going to buy a ring or expensive stone for the melee types. Though if they buy it I'm fine with memorizing spells to put into it. But those items always work at the minimum caster level. So if I cast a Shield spell into the ring they get 1 minute worth of shield.
