When Ananta casts Detect Magic after a few seconds he sees two magical auras, one moderate on the right statue, one faint, on the left statue.

AHA! I forgot that Identify works like detect magic, and I have a wand of it. No bonus though since he's not identifying an item in his possession
Konrad moves forward and draws his wand of identify from his belt.
"Vell now, let us see vhat ve can see."

Konrad points to the right statue. "This one has an aura of enchantment on it. Ve should be careful." He fortifies himself before continuing.
Casting Shield and Lead Blades then moving to the lead with Drax. If we have time, he'll throw Resist Energy (fire) and (lightning) on too

@Konrad You have time, nobody seems to be inside the tunnel ready to attack you!
When Drax and Konrad pass between the two statues, the runes illuminate and a loud bang echoes through the tunnel and the rocky walls.
Sonic damages (fortitude for half) for Drax and Konrad: 5d8 ⇒ (6, 7, 3, 8, 3) = 27
Then, a waves of pain goes through everyone but only Konrad and 1 is Ananta, 2 is Quarr: 1d2 ⇒ 2 seems to get the effects.
Konrad and Quarr must make a Will Save

Blech. Depending on what kind of effect it is, one of his save modifiers might apply. If it's a fear effect, his Talisman of Warrior's Courage (lesser) will get expended and turn it into a shaken effect

@Konrad The traps are set when Drax moves through and the bang is a 5ft. burst and the symbol a 60ft. radius
Both Drax and Konrad avoid most of the sonic damages but Konrad cannot manage the pain.

Well, my trigger was 'if we detect no magic, I'll go through' so if there was magic I was intending to pause to let people figure out what it was, but either way.
Drax snarls and the brief flare of pain and irritably gets out his wand, looking to Ananta.
Ananta, if you want to use my wand to help heal you up after the lifelink at any point, let me know, you've soaked a lot of damage for us this game

But none of you can bybass magical trap and you don't know exactly what they are (just an hint). You can try to dispel them, but with max 2 try and few chances of success. I believe that your choice will be to cross it anyway.

Ananta serenely takes on the damage before taking his wand out and activating it.

Honestly, I'm fine with it. I just worry about the big bursts of damage that may come our way.

There is no spell cast, there is a manifestation of a spell which is an Arcana check.

Can't disable unless we have the trapfinding class feature.
"Stay back. That is a deadly trap known in text as a Symbol of Pain. It will wear off with some time, but just as deadly and difficult to get rid of." Quarr looks past it. "We should avoid it at all costs."
Are we past it or can we bypass it and go around the trap?

The Pathfinders moves inside the tunnel after some time in total darkness, bright orange flames illuminate a sharp turn in the passage. The flames issue from the upraised claws of a carved, two- headed gargoyle statue that squats in the corner. Each head stares down a different passage.

Drax grunts and shrugs. "Alright. I can kill a stone bird thing easy if it does not move!"
He fiddles with his wayfinder a moment.
So, the errata covering clear spindle ioun stones getting kind of nerfed came out while we were in mid-play of this module. We were running with the notion that the old rules will govern our playing until the module's completion. So if that's the case, Drax will make sure his clear spindle ioun stone is well slotted in his wayfinder; if instead the revision has taken effect, Drax will activate the daily protection from evil power it has, and walk up to the statue.
Approaching cautiously, Drax makes his way to the statue, hugging the north wall, his kukris drawn. With the adamantine kukri, he tries to sever the flaming hands at the 'wrist.'
Let me know if any rolls are needed there

With caution Drax begins to cut the arm of the statue. Even if his weapon is not a tool design to do that type of work it's crudenessly efficient and the stone hand falls...

Ananta's tongue flickers out, the only hint of disappointment in his demeanor. "Well then. Let usssss move it into the light."
Can we hand wave the carrying of the statue out of these caves? I just want it out of the way.

Drax makes a face at the statue, and shakes off Quarr's hand irritably. "This thing is ugly. I don't like it watching me."
He tries to tip the statue over onto its side in the room, but if a few attempts don't suffice to knock it over, he grunts and moves around the statue, peering down the passageway that leads north.

Drax is able to knock the statue down which explode in a thundering loud crack that ripples through the stone walls of the corridors...
Drax is able to see that the corridor continues 50ft. before turning right.

"HAHA. That was great," Drax says, pleased with the results of his violence. Obviously stealth is really low on his priority list.
"The hallway goes a while then turns. Let us go see if any are coming to die on Drax's blades because they heard the ugly rock falling!"

Quarr walks behind Drax as he sifts through his vials. He doesn't even notice the big man stop and keeps moving past around the corner.

"--eh? If you want to walk ahead Drax will not stop you from being stabbed!" Drax says quite amiably to Quarr, but calls back: "Lastwall knight! Come! Drax cannot take all your kills. Drax will allow you one, so you do not have to go home to your Lastwall in dishonor."
Then, he jogs after Quarr.
Is it possible to assume we're moving together as a group? I know PBP can be finicky, as one doesn't want to assume people are moving where they might not be, but if Quarr and I our tokens up before Ananta or Konrad get a chance to, etc, we might trigger encounters with the others a round away, blah blah. Could we just assume they're moving maybe 10' back of Quarr (who's easily our best perception, I think)?

I think that was particular instance was due to us having been specifically doing a check for traps and having stated actions of only moving forward if we didn't find them. Having found them we would have naturally wanted to stop and try and think about ways to deal with them. I recognize you were just trying to keep us moving forward, etc, but it meant that we felt like we didn't get the chance to use our own ingenuity, does that make sense? But barring cases of 'we see something that looks like we should deal with it, or attempt to', it seems to make sense we'll move as a group. :)
