Rizzlefunk pauses, and then adds: "Then again, the bloodstain is a clear sign. It could even belong to the captives. Uslad, can you tell what kind of creature shed this blood?" (Some kind of Survival check, maybe?)

Hellany and Hskoro batter the door that leads into a long corridor. A chair and an equally rickety table covered in clutter can be seen at the far end of the corridor with doors all along the left hand side and a some on the right a bare patch of wall seems to have broken away from which two grotesque creatures, each a roiling waves of flesh, amid these fatty rolls protrude half formed limbs and a dripping tumorous face. Argazhon's aim is put off by trying to avoid Uslad but Hellany's Charge fares much better and after some initial resistance her sword cut deep into the creature but does not end its pitiful existence.

"Eeew. That's disgusting."Lissa retorts, wrinkling her nose upon seeing the creatures. Still, the appearance of the things doesn't prevent her from decking in behind Uslad, and gathering a mass of water around her hands. As soon as she skids to a halt, she releases the mass at the closer(orange) mess of flesh to blast it.

Rizzlefunk waddles through the door and stops to gaze at the closest grotesque (orange).

"I think I can disable it a little..."

(Staring at the orange fiend, casting mental block. Will DC 15, remember the stare penalty. Lasts two rounds, but it can try another Will save at the end of the first round.)

(If Lissa lands a blow, I activate painful stare. 1 additional damage.)

Kaye's bomb flies an almost perfect parabola before striking the one at the back which lights up in flames they biefly outline the creature which quivers in delight as it is covered in flames and then looks almost disappointed as they fade. Rizzlefunk stares down the first creature and finds his initial fear realised as the creatures fight on pure instinct and are not affected by his jedi mind tricks. Hskoro cannot get a good shot into the melee. The first creature intially looks as though it w is going to shrug off Lissa's watery missile but it cannot evade it all and collapses into a flubbery mess on the floor. The creature behind eases out of the room and into the corridor and on some instinctual level attacks its opposite Hellany with a clawed limb

Remind me sometime to ask the scenario writer how a mindless creature can open a door. These things are immune fire as well

The damage that would be dealt by Kaye's bomb and the creature's claw, was mystically transferred to Arghazon, who screams in pain, but it wouldn't be enough to stop him from shooting another arrow against the creature.

Argazhon uses his Life Link ability to prevents 7 points of damage that would be dealt to Hellany.

Hellany was more audacious, she walked around the enemy and stabbed him in the flank, along with Uslad.

As she feels the pain Hellany's sword does not strike true. But Argazhons arrow does but it seems to disappear into the fleshy monster with no effect as a durable arrow it may appear after the combat but it did not get through the DR

there was no splash damage from Kaye's bomb on Hellany as Kaye hit the one that was at the back at the time. Also have they clarified Life link for unchained summoner works like it used to as the initial unchained language didn't read that way to me

Hskoro and GM: the mesmerist trick is still implanted in Hskoro's mind, though it probably won't activate on this turn seeing how he rolled 23 for attack.

Uslad's blow strikes the creature due to the flank and hskoro strikes a glancing blow with Lissa's effort bouncing off a fleshy roll to no effect. The creature turns its claws on Uslad

Hskoro and Uslad quickly kill the final Lemure. The room from which they came is dark and unlit and out of shape. On the table at the far end of the corridor is a half eaten meal and some keys. A dwarven voice asks

"Check the vicinity. There ought to be some- Aha, are those keys I see on the table?" Rizzlefunk, due to his height, was having trouble seeing the keys on the table.
