"Geez, I'm getting lonely over here just making this guy competent!" Gamin complains, casting Guidance on Ardelaneu.

GM Chie |

Yes! Still 15 ft up. She's not going o close into Melee unless she has to! Additionally, I'm going to say that she's high enough off the ground as to not provide cover. Or, to make it easier, I'll move her 5 feet to make it less ambiguous.
Let's not forget that Miss Chance for the Dust Cloud! Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 32 [ooc]Perfect!
After Khash's first swing, the Shira Div finally falls, releasing Kan-Yeh from her raking Death-Grip. The scorching rays erupt from Khash's fingertips, Passing through Aryana, but scorching an already blackened soul.
I'm going to drive Torch! As Gunari leads Torch out of the desert, he looks wistfully at the Wayfinder in his hand. "“You had such promise, Asha. I feel that I failed you, but the Ten failed us both and continue to fail our comrades. One of those failures I must live with; for the other I can avenge us and make things right—make it right for everyone.” Snapping out of his trance, Torch reaches into his own Handy Haversack, pulling out a Holy Weapon Balm, before slamming it onto Gunari's weapon. "You did good Kid, now go put that Ghastly Terror out of her misery!" The first hit you make in the next 10 minutes VS that lady counts as Ghost Touch!
The glow surrounding Cayden's Churchkey looks very Similar to light given off by the flail on the ground.

Does Kan-Jeh still have that airwalk he had out in the very first fight?

GM Chie |

He does not. That Fancy Air-walk had to do with the 'Ghosts' of Buildings rising from the sands and being able to walk on them! Any other tricks?

Sinuhotep rushes to Jaswinder's assistance trying to dispel the suffocating effects from the ranger.
Dispel Magic on Suffocation
Meanwhile, Seldanna reverts back to her original plan, commencing a Silence spell to quiet the evil necromancer should she manage to survive her companions' attacks.
Hoping Tahari is already down now, or is that just wishful thinking?

GM Chie |

Dhiara, seeing past the Inevitability of time (Thanks to Khash's timely intervention) breaks from her stupor, before looking up to Tahari. "Thank you Khash, Let us end this fight!"
Jaswinder, succumbing to the Ghost's awful spell, falls unconscious, unable to breathe. Per suffocation, if you fail your save (or Saves, in your case) you drop to 0, and fall unconscious on your turn. It's a Really rough 5th level spell.
On the Back of Tahonikepsu (who gets a small bite in on the way) Gunari's charged blade stabs through Tahari's Ghostly heart. Slowly drifting down to the ground, she screams out. "I was supposed to have Eternity!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!" As her essence reaches the ground, the earth itself opens up beneath her, Flames dark as midnight surrounded by a Silver shimmery glow. Dozens of hands reach from the darkness, grabbing fragments of Tahari's soul, tearing and shredding the remains of her essence. A deep booming laugh echoes from the depths of the darkness. "Not even you can escape your Fate Tahari. Even you must honor your agreement to Ahriman!" With a final ear piercing shriek, what remains of Tahari is swallowed up into the darkness, before the hole closes in upon itself, leaving only the Pendant that started this whole ritual.
Sinuhotep rushes over to Jaswinder. "Hopefully I can save one life today!" Dispel Magic DC 23: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 His first attempt fails, as Jaswinder begins to die.
"You have done too much for our Order, I cannot permit you to die just yet!" Sinuhotep shouts, before attempting another cast.
Dispel Magic DC 23: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28 Much Better!

GM Chie |

Sinohotep smiles, something you wouldn't have expected from a Lich. "I no longer hear her Whispers, that soft tugging at my soul. I think... I think we might be free!" Tahonikepsu is elated, her Toothy grin even wider than normal. "This calls for Celebration! I have just the idea that might immortalize the achievement that we had today!" Torch pats Gunari on the back, pulling a small keg out of his own haversack. Two cups (Pewter Cayden Drinking steins) are filled from the keg, before handing one to Gunari. "I didn't think you all would bring me along, let alone save me in these last moments. I respect your care for your fellow pathfinders. If you need a favor... I might be able to help you out." Quickly draining his own mug, he leaves to clasp hands with Amenopheus, before speaking a command word and disappearing.
Amenopheus gathers up Kan-Yeh, Seldanna, Khash'Telek and Ardelaneu, before speaking in hushed tones. "Tahonikepsu is planning a Statue, with all of your likeness to immortalize you in our order, but I might have an idea for something better. With all the Work and Devotion that you have displayed to our order, I would be Honored to kepp your legacy safe in a different manner." Holding out the Onyx and Spinel sage jewels, he winks. "Perhaps we can come to some sort of agreement, after the celebration is over?"
The sages rejoice, surviving the harrowing ordeal, as well as keeping Every Single Sage Jewel and Purging Tahari (And her Legacy) from Golarian.

Per suffocation, if you fail your save (or Saves, in your case) you drop to 0, and fall unconscious on your turn. It's a Really rough 5th level spell.
That specifically happens next round. I have a single round to act before dropping unconscious.
EDIT: just read the next post. I guess it doesn't matter in this case.

![]() |

I don't see where you get that. Even succeeding reduces you to one action.
...if he succeeds, he is merely staggered for 1 round as he gasps for breath. If the target fails, he immediately begins to suffocate. On the target's next turn, he falls unconscious...

![]() |

Ah, you hadn't taken your turn from before she cast it? Because your next turn is the one after she casts. I can't see you having a full round and the caster having another action before the spell takes effect.

![]() |

I'm reading the spell linked to the PRD. If I fail my save, I begin to suffocate. On the round following that, I drop unconscious.
Note that these are different rules from Suffocating, where you fall unconscious on the *first* round (as opposed to the *following* round).
But, like I mentioned earlier, it's moot now.

![]() |

"Khash'telek and Seldanna, you should drink your cures now. Then, once they have worked, I can restore you with the wand!" says Gunari, tankard in hand.

![]() |

"Did I come all this way just to smack a graveknight around a bit?" Gamin complains. Ardelaneu sheathes the talkative blade and offers a hand to Gunari.
"It was an honor to fight by your side. All of you." he adds, looking to the rest of the party. "If there are no more foes to subdue, then I think it is time for that drink."

![]() |

Gunari's grin grows wider, if that were possible. He realizes that Torch has left with the firken, which causes him to shake his head.
When Ardelaneu offers his hand, Gunari pulls the paladin in for a big hug! "We survived!" he exclaims, as he starts pulling out tankards. "A round for all, courtesy of the Accidental God!" He makes liberal use of create beer!

![]() |

Seldanna downs her cure with a grimace. "Yes, a beer could be in order...if even to wash out this horrible taste. That was certainly interesting...and yes it was an honour to be able to achieve such a momentous victory together!"
