Hey GM -
I just noticed that I had missed a skill point in my HeroLab file. I adjusted my Paizo profile accordingly. The only thing different is that I now have a rank in Heal.
Just in case you noticed.

I'm sorry for my lack of posting. I've been dealing with some pretty severe depression, and sometimes I can't even motivate to get on the site.

Peace and understanding, Aris. You’re one of us; be here when you can.

Sorry to hear that. :(
I really enjoy Arisl so please take care of yourself and post when you can.
Again, I wish you the best in your struggle and choices in coping/handling idepression as I won't even try to sound like an expert. I hope that my wife's experiance helps. :/
I look forward to our continued interaction. :)

Of all the moments to roll a 20. If only my Diplomacy wasn't 0 lmao.
Didn't know if it was needed, but Hexa's actions speak for themselves.
Crosses fingers

3rd level is going to be awesome.
That's when Divine Hunter becomes really cool. :)
I thought about asking to reskin an animal with better attacks during recruitment but Hexa is way stronger then most low level characters because of Natural Attacks.
It'll fade as the levels increase but having a tiger would have just been min/max overkill. Which I try to avoid. I want to be effective and helpful.
:/
Also I'm jealous of you Wonky. I love Alchemist!
My favorite combo ever was (Gestalt) Alchemist (grenadier)/Magus (kensai, blackblade). So much fun!

Just curious. Is the the cold-iron sickle small-sized?
If so, does Wonky want it? If not, we should offer it to the Chief to help him in his campaign against the mites.
If it is medium-sized (doubtful, I know), does anyone have a desire to claim it? If not, Ahto will.
Wonky Prong, Jr |
Wonky would be happy to take it, though a bit nervous about wielding it because of its association with the First World.
Also, Wonky as an investigator gets fun alchemy skills but isn’t full alchemist. I’m still trying to decide if I want to go full alchemist or pivot into multi-class. We will see.

Whoopsie! I just saw Investigator by your name -.-; I was more hooked on your alchemy stuff lol. I forgot to read. :(
Yeah I did a Feral Alchemist Build, it was pretty neat with the gestalt combo. Made for a powerful combo in The Worldwound Crusade Adventure path.

Since it was Tartuk's I don't know if the Chief will want it but still it'll be a decent weapon for Wonky like you said.
we can try and offer it to him lol.
Though I like her RP/OOC for being leery of it. XD
Teuni-Hexa |
Lol Wonky, that's pretty catchy. :D
In Campaign If Ahto or someone else had something different planned. Like making the tribe killer into a hat or something. Please feel free to jump in. ^^; Apologies for the long-winded post.
Taxes are done and other RL stuff, so I can focus on the game 100% once again! Donate so much stuff this year. Itemizing took a lot of time. lol...

I don 't think any here are of the evil streak needed to turn a humanoid into a hat, even if said humanoid was a nasty bugger.
Like I posted, Paval would have been fine with it if Tartuk had been eaten by scavengers but he does not want the corpse to be found so burning is better.
As for not wanting it to be found, that's not about hiding it but because he feels that would be indecent somehow.
Teuni-Hexa |
I like Paval :)
Though the kobold hat was a bit of a joke lol. XD
But your post was great and totally fits.

My whole family caught the Fly, so running a bit ragged here. will post as quick as I can today as it seems fevers are finally breaking.
Thankfully (Or maybe not) it hasn't hit me (yet) but we will see. Prepping to fly back to work tomorrow so I may be a little iffy tomorrow. Hopefully not. Thanks and apologies for any inconvenience!

On the Lvl 3 discussion here.
Lvl 3 Divine hunter is somewhat crazy.
Tal will gain the Celestial template and Hexa gets a Domain. Didn't know if there was any RP planned or if I can take a small artistic liberty DM Valeyan. Thanks!
I'm on the fence as to which Domain I want to choose but Knowledge seems very fitting especially with the future I have planned for Hexa.
But my lvl 3 is ready to go, will post what I have when the time comes. Herolab makes it easy to track lol.
Teuni-Hexa |
Like lighter scale colors for Tal to reflect her celestial status and similarly for Hexa, shedding his skin to a new shade of scales.
Just that sort of thing, since I imagine taking the Knowledge Domain is going to lead to a truly massive experience for the newly open minded lizardfolk.
Teuni-Hexa |
Also HP Roll! 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Excellent.
If we aren't rolling for HD is it just Avg? 1d8 (4) +3?

Gain Lore Keeper - Able to touch a creature and learn its abilities and weaknesses. With a successful touch attack gain information as if you made an appropriate knowledge check of DC 17 based off DC15 + Cleric level + Wisdom.
This Lore Keeper confuses me a little So it is just a simple knowledge check for that creature type like normal or is it actually telling us that specific creature's abilities and weaknesses? RAI and RAW run through my head here. :/

I'll update my profile, but here are the highlights:
+9 HP (WOW!)
+1 BAB
+1 Fortitude
Investigator Talent: Infusion (As if it could be anything other than that)
Trap Sense +1
Feat: Brew Potion (Let's augment my infusion capabilities, shall we?)
Skills: Disable Device, Knowledge Engineering and Geography, Perception, Sense Motive, Stealth, UMD, Handle Animal, and Linguistics (I can speak Undercommon now)
Alchemical Formulae: Got two new ones - Comprehend Languages and Enlarge Person (my favoured class alternate ability allows me to get a new formula in my book!)
Teuni-Hexa |
Nice rolls guys. :)
Especially Wonky lol!
And sames is a beast, period.
If there are no issues with my Lvl up info above then I will get my profile updated and retain the old information until we reach morning.
Wonky Prong, Jr |
Also, per the entry on the investigator class: “An investigator can study a wizard's spellbook to learn any formula that is equivalent to a spell the spellbook contains.“ AND: “An investigator does not need to decipher arcane writing before copying formulae.” Would Wonky be able to copy the magic scroll that she found into her formulae book?

I'll go for average rounded up on HP to keep things a bit stable.
So:
+7 (5+2) HP
+1 Fort & Will
+1 BAB
+1 Acrobatics, Bluff, Disable Device, Heal, Knowledge (Engineering, Local, Nature), Perception, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Spellcraft, Stealth, UMD
Feat: Hand's Autonomy (let the weirdness begin)
Refined Education: Perception
Finesse Training: Aldori Duelling Sword
Social Sense +1
So damage went from 1d8+1 to 1d8+5 and while dual wielding isn't that great an option atm (-2/-6) that will get significantly better when I grab Two-Weapon Fighting next level (-1/-1). I'm actually also looking at an option to completely remove the penalty.
Another thing is that I can now still do things while otherwise incapacitated. I just need to get a good selection of potions to end status effects now so bad things won't last longer than a round on me. Even a wand might work, though I'd have to beef up my UMD a bit more.

This sounds like a job for Wonky Prong Potions, Inc!

It will be a bit of an experiment. The step after getting two-weapon fighting will be making sure I can dual wield duelling swords at that same small (or non existent) penalty. That is why I'm going Fighter for some levels, just not sure yet if it'll be Weapon Master or not.

Yes! Rather nice to end up with a potion crafter in the group. Those and infusions should help quite a bit.

Aris is updated. The big highlights are a couple spells she'll probably never cast, 7 HP, +1 to fort and reflex, and Quick Study exploit. Other than that, not many changes since Spell Focus(conjuration) isn't the best except as a prerequisite for some good feats later.

News flash - Pathfinder Second Edition!
I have rather mixed feelings about this. I guess it's just wait and see.
Teuni-Hexa |
I'm on the fence as well, but it is time to break the mold. I mean 1-9th spells has been a great system but it is time to keep pressing forward and evolve.
Now if they are just going to over simplify pathfinder and make it like 5th edition then I don't know how I feel about that. Not good for sure. 5th is 5th and Pathfinder is Pathfinder there is a reason I don't and didn't plan on playing 5th.
I really wish they had expanded into Arcadia by now and actually finished fleshing out the world but I bet that will be the selling point of 2nd Edition.
NEW Lands, NEW streamline rules! 10th Level SPELLS! More Mythic! More Cool Stuff.
Whatever happens, I hope they try and do something game changing and take in the Play-testers/Gamers opinion. I know they have with other products but I haven't followed it enough to see whether they fully listened or just did when it suited them.
But 10th level spells... I mean I thought Mythic Spells were rough. But something higher then Wish (unless Wish gets moved to 10th lvl) will either be disastrous or really, Reallly cool.
However Hexa is displeased that Goblins are deemed more playable, why do the scaleless get all the fun! ( >.>)
Teuni-Hexa |
I also want the Power Word system back, more fleshed out then the somewhat half-attempt it was. I really liked it.

I'm still waiting a full hard-cover book on the Dragon Empires.
I do like the Golarion-infusion to the rules as proposed. Golarion is the reason that I keep coming back to PF.
It is still just in proposed playtest mode, BTW. It'll likely be another year before 2nd edition is ready for mass consumption...ah, 2019.
Teuni-Hexa |
Don't get me wrong, i'm looking forward to a new edition. Just money is always a sad thing.
I'm glad I am not in PFS which is changing as well and for those who invested in it. Ouch.
But regardless I will be staying with Pathfinder. I've yet to invest in 5th edition and the options Pathfinder gives are far more enticing to me.
Wonky Prong, Jr |
Gosh, are we all 3rd level now? I just looked at our bylines and realised that, despite levelling up my character sheet a few days ago.
