Moments like that are one of the best things about being part of a gaming group.

Also, if anyone is wondering why I willing chose something weaker powered like Tal's animal companion race. It was because I thought it would be fun as a Hunter for a Companion. Though her pic is a T-Rex because Paizo never has all the animal companion pics... Le sigh~ -.-;

If you added rolls in front of a roll you'd already made, like a check before an attack, the later rolls all change. That could be what happened?

Well my attack roll was first. I had the rolls in place and made an edit to add my Ooc comment. Lol so funno. Its happened before in other games but it's rare and weird.

I had a post premade before waiting the last few days. The ranged attack I had would have done 26 damage with gravity bow. So either way I think we had her. Lmao!

The dice-roller program is a fickle thing.

If you look, there were like 5 or 6 20's rolled in just a handful of posts.

I have seen other times in PbPs where it will do the same thing, except with 1's.

I had one pbp character who went months rolling nothing better than a 7.

Sams is sad his Hulk-smash dreams came to an abrupt end, but will be glad to see that everyone took care of business!

I'll have to have a talk with Sams about how to use being big to his advantage.

Oh I have seen the dive roller be a major pain in the arse. I had a campaign where the enemies rolled higher then the party pretty much all the time. So I had to use different alias just so I could vary the rolls.

It worked but I hate fudging things, but when the bbeg is getting 18+ every roll, is a gestalt magus alchemist with feral extract. That just screams Tpk in a few rounds lmao...

I was just chuckling how quick we wiped these guys. Granted there is 6 of us. XD but still we had decent coordination and I am sure Hexa deserves a talking to for not being frontline like. Hahaha

I think Sams did alright, it sucks you had to wait forever to get back in and I think I need to reassess what Hexa focuses on in the next combat rounds. Because being down a player sucks. Especially for them. Hexa though was definitely out for prize taking.

He doesn't know any better, he wants his own 'talker' and is looking upto Ahto as a traveling war chief haha.

Admittedly, I was a bit worried when Sams went down.
On one hand, I'm not looking to wipe you guys out, but on the other hand I do want to provide a suitable challenge.

As for better news, you guys will gain a level after searching the camp and interrogating your latest crop of prisoners.
So start thinking about what you want for your next level.

Don't worry about Sams going down, he can take a beating, and I am okay sitting on the sidelines in combat. With a 6 man group, I would suggest upping the number of enemies from whatever is printed, if that hasn't already happened. Our group is plenty effective.

Someday, Sams wants to multiclass dip for some heavy armor, fighter or cavalier. But need some in-game basis for that first. Maybe Ahto teaches him how to do that.

Wow! So many 20s! I'm impressed.

Also, we've got some excellent group tactics, and as long as my dog doesn't keep getting caught in tripwires and snares, I should be able to join in the fun. Looking forward to 2nd level!

Combat indeed went very well there.

As for level 2, the question now is what will I do? I will multiclass but will I do it now or wait a bit more and if I multiclass now, which way will I go?

Maybe I'll just stick to Rogue for the next 2 levels so I at least I'll have Dex to damage. In addition to some other abilities of course.
Biggest bonus is I get to think on the multiclass a bit longer.

I'm taking more levels in Hunter I need to at least level 3 so I can get the bonuses from the Divine Hunter for my animal companion. Being new to the hunter class I don't see many benefits in multiclassing just yet but I'm also still kind of looking at combinations.

I can tell that we're going to have fun, Hexa.

Yeah. Ahto isn't sure how to address the statement about "the strong mate laying lots of eggs" so he is just pretending he didn't hear the remark (being occupied with tying up and interrogating and stuff).

As far as I know, Abadar doesn't require chastity/celibacy, but taking Kressle as a slave concubine would be a definite no-no (not that he'd be crazy enough to take her if it were not - she's a rabid honey badger!)

I am very much enjoying learning of Hexa's beliefs. I can imagine that Aris saying "I want to learn more of your people" was said with a concerned look on her face.

I'm taking my next level in Investigator so I can get one step closer to INFUSIONS for all at 3rd level. Just curious, how are we doing HP? Rolling or taking the average?

Hexa might imagine that too, Wonky, but she's genuinely curious, in a detached, academic sort of way.

Question for DM:

How obvious is it to the rest of us that Hexa is uncomfortable around Aris?

Is it something we need to make Sense Motive rolls for, or is it in plain sight, so to speak?

I was making the assumption that since it was directed at me, I was reasonably able to notice it. If that's not the case, whoops.

Hexa could answer whether or not he is making an effort to hide his emotions.

The reason I asked the DM is because of lizardfolk being non-mammals. Their facial expressions and body language might be different.

It wasn't my intention to question Aris's actions, I apologize if the question gave that implication.

The reason I was wondering is because if Ahto thought trouble was brewing between two members of the group, it would be in his nature to find out the cause of it and try to find a resolution between the two persons involved.

However, if he can't read lizardfolk facial expressions very well, he might only go to Aris and ask what's bothering her (not knowing it is Hexa), rather than starting by asking why Hexa is bothered by Aris, who is standing right next to him.

Ahto's a city-born, city-raised, city-dweller. He's never met a lizardfolk before. I figure his ability to intuitively interact with Hexa will be limited until he learns more about him.

I think it would be evident to anyone paying attention, even without Sense Motive, that Hexa is nervous around Aris.

Even without understanding his facial expressions, I think his body language is understandable enough. At least that was my impression from the roleplaying.

However, a Sense Motive roll with perhaps a -2 cross-species penalty could confirm how severe Hexa's anxiety is and whether Ahto believes mediation is necessary.

His demeanor and movements change. Like a lizard he slows down, holds still and at times his color changes when Aris gets close.

Which is why I add Tal getting nervous as well. Like your pet at home seeing a different side if you and such. It seemed fitting since Hexa is usually a take charge, go for the kill type.

However for people who barely know him it probably isn't as obvious since he is a lizardfolk.

I'll probably be sticking with arcanist unless a prestige class pops into my head as a good idea. Too much scaling from levels with this class, and it's not necessary to multi class.
