"This way! Quickly!" She calls, even as she takes a step to one side to clear the door way.

Where is the extra plus two coming from hall? I don't think we could be flanking right now since the Monsters should be near a wall. I'm really confused since not much detail has been given about the room we are in, locations of everyone, and distance to enemies. Ask these things are important and why I prefer to use maps. Oh well.

GM Capt Wombat |

Ok before you start screaming for maps, [shudder]
Hall hits it [with or with out +2] and sends it to dead land.
END of combat,
so save your shots for whats next.
Now Scarlet waiting on you to tell the others what you just heard from the next room, its quite now, so no Per rolls needed. Scarlet's the one to tell.
Some ones at the back door

S.c.a.r.l.e.t. |

Scarlet smiles, puts a finger to her lips indicating the fine Lady should remain quiet and simply lifts her weapon and steps towards the rear door....Waiting.
Take a 'Five Foot' step closer to said back door (If possible) and point weapon at said door. Hold action until there's a target.
Scarlet is not going to let whom ever is outside know that she knows that they are there. Now, while it might seem better that she lets every one else know what she knows, that would entail then letting whom every is outside know that she knows some one is trying to sneak in, hence ruining both her surprise...and the potential glimpse of surprise on whom ever's face when they do get the door open and look straight down the barrels of Scarlet's weapon. (^_^)

S.c.a.r.l.e.t. |

Scarlet simply places the end of her weapon against the hole
Touch Att:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20(Plus any bonus for...well, being point blank and flat footed)
Dam Att:1d8 ⇒ 7(Plus Fort Save DC 15 or be 'Stunned' for one round. With possibly humorous repercussions for next round)
Krack-BOOM!
Scarlet may be Neutral Good......That does't mean that she's nice! >:}

S.c.a.r.l.e.t. |

Round 3 (End of the surprise part)
Scarlet puts herself between the fine Lady and Jack. She then glances behind herself and looks towards the font of the house.
"This is not a situation for volunteers." She points out. Even as she begins to change 'barrels'.
Stealth:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23(Plus any bonuses for being covered by Jack and the semi-opened back-door. Partial cover? +4?)
Well.... if our na-er do wells are looking for the cause of the Ka-boom? Jack just stepped forwards. (^_^)

GM Capt Wombat |

The back door opens to the houses small privet and walled Garden.
As Scarlet backs away and Jack opens the door, you see 3 men looking down at a 4th whos got a big hole in his head.
The man at the back is small and holds a mean looking longsword and pistol
The two at the front are thugs 1&2 big mean and using spiked clubs and shields, the dead man was an old gent with a lock pick in one hand.
Thug one says "Da Killed Trin, the blaggers!" the others says, "their Dead meat" then slams into the Door.
DC20 Str rolls please jack or be knocked back.
The Room is a hall way to the Back set of rooms in the house, to the left facing the back door is a wide door to the kitchen, to the right are two door, 1 Cold room, 2 Tools and cloths, and stairs leading up the back of the house. The hall way is about 10' wide and 25' long 9' high, bAck door is solid and opens inwards

Round 1(End of surprises)
Scarlet continues to slowly back up, moving the Lady along behind her. Scarlet can't help but wince as Jack gets a tad squished by 'Bruiser 1', or......was it 'Bruiser2'? Scarlet has trouble telling large, lumbering threats apart. (>_o)
She glances at her comrades pilling out of the room.
"Gentlemen? You're up!"
Continuing 'Five foot' steps away from the door and danger. Continuing to 'reload' this round,
