There are no gods as such, demons and devils yes.

how do clerics and paladins work then

V Domains, they follow the root idea of their domains,
This means alignment is not linked to gods but how you play your interpretation of your pcs domains. Only the five core ailment domains
Good, evil, law, chaos, neutral fix your alignment.

Okay. Am thinking of building Scarlet into an Alchemist.

It will fit the technology bent of both the world and the nature of the character.

Am now reading up/studying the class, as I've never played one before and hence I don't want to stuff things up too badly. :P

Hey Wombat... Faelyn here. I just need to make a few changes to the character racial traits and add an additional normal trait. Also need to do equipment, but I've got to crash (work midnights and have to get up in 3.5 hours). I'll wrap up the rest ASAP. Let me know what you think thus far though.

Let me know if you have any questions about the racial trait changes by the way... they come out to 15 RP.
