I will be undergoing surgery on Friday, May 25th. It has placed a giant ? mark over my entire next week so posts may be sporadic. Again, I apologize.
I totally understand. Hopefully it's nothing super serious. I had a cornea transplant last year and it definitely put everything on hold. Take all the time you need to recover.
Nothing nearly as serious as a cornea transplant!
It's surprisingly not as complicated as it used to be. Now they mainly transplant corneal cells and not the whole cornea. But that meant I had to lay on my back for about a week straight to make sure the cells engrafted properly.
You'll be on my mind tomorrow. Sending good thoughts your way for your surgery.

How far is the water from the crane at the ledge? What would be Rayka's chances of tossing it off?
Given it's strength, I'm not sure she can grapple/drag it that far. Plus, if she can't get it into the water then it's no good because someone may either see it or it'll get up.
The other option is to immobilize it. The iron rope would probably work for that.
But you're right, I'm not sure I like the exchanging of punches until one of us dies. Although hopefully it would be it.
The water is about two stories down so say 20-25 feet. It does seem fairly strong but it is hard to say without trying it. And you do have a cleric and a rogue with you.

I find it amusing that my brawler didn't fight more but I think it made more sense that she didn't given what she was trying to accomplish. That being said, the fight isn't over yet...although is it winding down because she's about to die or because she actually accomplished what she set out to :)

So Rayka is oscillating between two choices - both which may get her killed but her priority will be getting Henri out.
So my question is if she does something like overrun to Lady Iuncus and Henri is in tow, does he gain the benefit as well? Could we both get past her using her martial flexibility and using Improved Ovverun?
Or she takes her chances and blows the horn and hopes that she draws attention to herself and allows Henri to sneak out.
In the meantime, I'll post a sense motive roll to see if her husband is actually watching the front door. How would she have been able to tell him - other than magic of course - but Rayka may not know that.
As for Shalina part 2, I'll have to think about it. Definitely no complaints. I can't think of any requests at the moment but I'll give it a little thought and let you know.

I'm good either way. If you're ready to go with Shalina then we can start that. If you need a little more time then we can wait longer. I wasn't sure if you had anything planned for Rayka and Obella during their trip through the city.

So, what did you think of our Platte cleanser? 10 months long! A bit longer then I originally expected I will fully admit. Did you enjoy things? Anything you want to say?
I enjoyed it. Did that really take 10 months? Totally doesn't feel like it. I guess what they say is true, time flies when you're having fun.
I liked that it felt like Rayka was being pushed out of her comfort zone. I think I remember that happening with Shalina too which is great because that's how a character grows and develops.
I know it sounds hokey but I'm always about the journey and not necessarily about the destination.
