paAll,

I have added links to the Campaign Info Page. This includes the MAP for the Surrounding areas of BURLE :)

Looks like the site is back up and stable. I have made a post so as soon as everyone realizes the board is back up we can move on :)

I will give it a few days so everyone has time to check.

Glad to see the boards have finally been fixed (for the moment) - won't hold my breath that it'll last...

And it is back up again...hopefully it is stable now. :)

So it is now Wednesday and it looks like Paizo might have fixed whatever issue they were having with their system. I will give it a few days for everyone to respond to the last few posts. Hopefully, they have resolved whatever issue caused their system to be down for over a two week period...

Hoping beyond hope indeed chief.

Its been creaking for almost a month now - with posting opportunities becoming more of a game of chance than anything else!

I still have a gameplay thread with red text. My new theory is that they ain't done yet until that text goes back to normal. Just gotta find the openings and post in them.

I'm just curious who the child is that thinks annoying a bunch of gamers is his path to fame.

Ok, so I am hoping the dust has settled and Paizo's platform is now stable and we can have some consistent up time.

Let's roll our collective sleeves up and get the ball rolling on our story!

Do me a big favor and give me a CHECK IN on the discussion so that I know you are still playing and active.

@SD, I apologize, but I used my Sense Motive bonus for my Diplomacy roll. The result should be 33 instead of 38.

First day of school...been busy will post tomorrow.

I will have a few posts up for us tomorrow. Got in late so I had to get a few posts up on the Saltmarsh Campaign.

SD

Really quick.

I have two openings in our long-term campaign (SALTMARSH). We lost our arcane caster and our war priest. The intent is to run through the below 1st ed AD&D modules in a campaign:

U1 to U3 Saltmarsh (1 to 3 level)
A1 to A4 Slave Lords (3 to 6 level)
S4 Lost Caverns of Tsjocanth's (6 to 8 level)
WG4 Forgotten Temple of Thazirdun (8 to 10 level)
G1 to G3 Giants (10 to 14 level)
D1 to D2 Drow (14 to 16 level)
Q1/I6 Queen of the Demonweb Pit/Ravenloft (16 to 20 level)

I am botting both right now but I would like to nail down two replacements for them soon.

I would like to have a CLERIC as a replacement. This will be essential for the party going forward. The cleric is more flexible with the changes made to the class and this character will be a necessity as we advance in the campaign. The other character needed and I would like to have is an arcane caster (Wizard, Sorcerer, Magus, or Arcanist).

Jovich, Licitus, and Hustonj are currently in the campaign.

Our current makeup is:

Naia - Flan human female Fighter
Rabalar - Wood Olf male Ranger
D'ogryn - Suel human male Rogue
Thout - Half Dwarf male Fighter
------------------------------
Currently being botted:
Soros - Suel human male Wizard (Abjurer)
Eden - Touv human male War Priest

I plan on botting them and moving them into NPC's once we complete the current excursion and if they survive.

I am posting this up on our group discussion to give you a heads up as I intend to post a public thread for recruitment. In the next few days. You obviously know this but you can find the house rules and needed material for character creation.

Greyhawk Old School Campaign

I try to keep a 1 post a day during the weekdays and I would really like to keep this pace if at all possible. If you post at a higher rate I try to match it so we can keep the story moving along at a good pace.

Okay. Big stuff is moved. Probably 11 or 12 trips of loose "things" from our storage garage to get, yet, plus whatever's still in the apartment.

Have my bed set up, the entertainment center set up and configured, my computer set up (and a wireless NIC added because it is too far from the router to wire !), and I've found my clean underwear!

So, now I can type on a keyboard instead of trying to cram my fingers on the fake keyboard on my phone. Time to try to catch up, after I share the post across my games.

All,

So I need to know what the party's plan is...so that will need to be discussed by the party. :)

You have a few options of course.

1) Traverse the swamp from this point to the Beacon without a guide.
2) Traverse the swamp from this point to the Beacon with a local guide.
3) Travel around the swamp to Feremon's home and secure his services as a guide and then go into the swamp on the shortest path possible to the beacon.
4) Travel around the swamp to the shortest point to the beacon without a guide.

I have put a Treasure List in the Baltron Beacon folder for the group. Please discuss who will get what and update your sheets once you decide and note it on the list.

Options 2 and 3, (with 3 being the frontrunner) are my preferred courses. Makes sense to have a local guide for the knowledge and lay-of-the-land intel alone. May well be that some of our group are mechanically superior in the survival/tracking/pathfinding realms but Feremon would likely give us an edge on encounters and terrain.

Concern would be, that without a guide we get bogged down (figuratively and literally) scrapping our way through a potentially very hostile environment only to arrive at the Beacon depleted and vulnerable.

I'll post something in game to echo this as Bynoth's take.

Harry would definitely prefer Option 3 here...unless Feremon is someone who he believes cannot be trusted. Since Demetrios has vouched for him Harry is inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As for the treasure list, Harry would take just a Potion of CMW. The Antitoxin and Anti-plague should be kept as community treasure here. I'll post further my suggestions when I get more time to do so.

Battlescourge of Hextor - Male Human (Oeridian) Cleric 6 | HP 56/56 | AC 19/T12/FF18 | F+9, R+4, W+9 | Perc +7 | Init +3 | Move: 20ft.

@ALLENDM: Are those Potions of Air Breathing as listed (more useful for aquatic creatures) or Water Breathing? Just checking :)

Bynoth would likely consider a Potion of Water Breathing (if that's what they actually are) - his biggest concern (as a relatively heavily armoured member of the group) is being drowned or sucked under. Potion would at least give you lot time to save him or for him to remove his armour (presuming of course he imbibes it in time/doesn't get eaten by the swamp denizens).

Agree that the Antitoxin and Antiplague should be communal but ALLENDM may want us to designate "carriers" of those items? If we keep them all on one person and they get robbed/forced to drop/sucked under the swap - then we're up Hool Creek without a paddle (and the rest of the list).

Since Harry has the spell 'Water Breathing' memorized I am perfectly happy with the heavily armored warriors carrying those potions.

Male Elf (ancient) Barbarian 3 (magus) perc +7 F 7 R 8 W 7 max HP 42/45 spd 35 AC 20

option 3 is good for me. I dont want to be stuck in a crusty swamp any more then I need to be!

Thanks, Harry! Adding CMW potion to my inventory. I'm also adding an antitoxin.

I agree with option 3.

Option 3. The others all just seem like foolishness.

Thank you, Harry!

Hunh, bunch not distributed, yet. Ought to just be distributed between melee and non-melee so that things like the anti-plague and anti-toxin could be where they might be needed.

I will have a post up for you guys tomorrow.

Small tent => -10 gp + 1 gp = -9 gp

Unless there is a need/desire to build a relationship with a merchant in Burle, we can skip the RP for equipment purchases and just carry on.

Don't know if you want to RP this, but Thanim would ask about a hammock vs a hanging tent for use in the swamp.

You learn that the hanging tent will protect you from the elements and bugs while allowing a single person to sleep above the ground. Hammock simply allows you to sleep above the ground.

Both are sold in Burle.
