Feeling the pressure let off the door, Garr'ak would quickly gather his things back into the hammock, sealing any papers in the scroll case as he does, before heading out the door and looking for some type of escape route.

I must sincerely apologize for the delays. A combination of last minute plans and run away puppy forced me to delay my return to Pathfinder Forums as did my latest endeavor. But here I am, voila!
Garr'ak
There, in the distance. A faint light off the port side, gleaming amidst the downpour. It looks light... a lighthouse. It's not too far, you could attempt the swim.
Ritti
You open the door... and

Well well, lucky roll on that one. Any other number would have sent you back to the entrance. In any case, you may choose a single area to go to within the castle. If you have not encountered it yet, you may ask a question if such an area exists.

Garr'ak the Toothy |

Garr'ak would take a look at the water, trying to discern just how difficult of a swim it would be.
Survival 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Is the water still choppy? Does it seem to be calming down?
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Does he notice the monster from before? Does he believe the monster was what just flew off?

Wow, I apologize, my last post must not have made it through! I though everyone just no longer bothered posting. Two of my other games have died so I figured that was what must have happened. I apologize!
Ritti and compan
A searing vision of blinding light bursts forth from the door as Shuo, Eiron and Duke walk into it.
Area #15: Serene Chapel
You now find yourself in a large chapel, gleaming stained glass windows casting prismatic light through the vast chamber. A large golden organ rests at the back end above on a balcony, stairs winding up to reach it. A carved marble altar stands at the front of this room. You seem to have come through a door in the middle of the room which vanishes as you step through it. The only way out now is through a set of double doors behind you, underneath the organ balcony.
You feel a sense of ease and contentment. This is one of the "safe" rooms of this place.
Garr'ak
The water looks calm enough to swim in, but you have no idea where the monster has gone.

Duke McAdams |
It's alive!
"How did we end up here?" asks Duke. He basks in the glow of the stained glass windows. "Well, a sanctuary of the gods is a fine place to be when dealing with such evil as we have faced."
Duke looks to see if he recognizes the altar as being dedicated to good and holy gods. If so, he will kneel in prayer.

Garr'ak the Toothy |

After checking to make sure everything he had was firmly secured, Garr'ak would dive into the water.

@Eiron: The altar looks ordinary at first, but upon inspection you find that there is some script written along its edge.
Rest thy hands upon the marble, and find yourself alive once more.
@Garr'ak: Like a professional dolphin, you make great progress towards the lighthouse in the distance. Archibald sees you swimming like a champ.

Herald of Omens |

Both of you successfully make it to the lighthouse, but find it surrounded by a steep cliff. Luckily, after swimming around for a few minutes you find a natural passage and manage to make it onto dry land.
As you collapse onto the shore, the lighthouse bursts into activity and sends a gleaming light spiraling across the mists.
You can either try and enter the lighthouse itself or make your way around the spit of rock and explore.

Garr'ak the Toothy |

After taking a moment to recuperate some of his strength, Garr'ak would stand and pull forth his Lucerne Hammer.
He felt safer with it out and in his hands.
Finally, he would start to look for a way to gain entry into the lighthouse.
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
If he finds a door, he will attempt to open it.

Sorry for the slow posting, I'm getting some new games in and I was honestly hoping for more people to turn up. Seems that the summer has a tendency to kill off games eh?
Garr'ak
No door. Which seems strange. However, you see a tangle of vines leading upwards on the lighthouse's eastern wall.
Duke
You pray at the altar and you feel like if a heavy weight had been lifted off your shoulders.

Garr'ak the Toothy |

Seeing no other form of shelter, Garr'ak would start to climb the vines. Taking it slow, he would test each handhold before continuing upward.
