I appreciate the comment, Joana. Writing through that was the most connection I've felt with the character. I've had some fun with Eysteinn, but I've also had a hard time playing with some of his themes. Klo has some similar themes, but they're put together in a way that they make more sense to me. And the class choice is a bit more my style.
I hope you guys will like Kló; I certainly like his concept.

Hey guys, posting from phone to say sorry for the update lack the last day or two. I have meant to post, but just been pretty tired each day when I get home. (Also, currently sunburned.) I'm sitting in Honolulu airport and figured I might get some posting in while waiting for my plane, but they want me to pay for Internet on my laptop and I probably won't. And writing long posts on the phone is no fun.
On the other hand, I'll be home tomorrow, so hopefully back to regular posts soon. Thanks for bearing with a little longer.

Sorry for the slow-back-into-things: from the 11th through the 12th, I spent 26 consecutive hours either in airports or on planes. *faceplant* Never had a flight canceled on me before due to the plane having been struck by lightning, but, hey, there you have it. And that was the first delay.

I think one of the PCs spoke Taldane at the beginning, but I believe it was Eysteinn whom we just left with the satyr. If we really get going, we can get people shouting Skald, Taldane, Druidic, and Varisian at each other in this battle and none of us understanding each other.
Lol, yeah, it was Eysteinn. I believe Tassidar speaks it, though. If he doesn't get a chance to post for a while, I'll narrate that bit, at least.

Just wanted to drop a quick apology into all my games. The days between Christmas and New Year turned out to be a lot more chaotic/busy than I’d expected (despite — or may because of — them all being work-free).

Also, mental note to self: don't use Latin again for any languages. I had a year of Latin in college which means that I can't stand how badly the auto-translaters mangle it-- I know just enough to know they're making it a complete mess. So even though my Latin is rusty as a door hinge in Ustalav, I feel compelled to try and create somewhat-more-grammatically correct sentences, and accordingly I waste far more time than is merited on a line or two of dialogue. *facepalm* (Note that the sentences still aren't fully correct, even. Should have used a gerund but I gave up.)
