For a quick rundown of how Pbp formatting works, check out the "How to format your post" tab below the text box whenever you make a post.
Bold is used for in character speech
Italics are used for in character thought
Ooc is obviously used for out of character info that is quick and simple, otherwise use the discussion thread.
Spoilers may also be used when you only want specific people to see your text.
Overall it's really fairly simple, I'm sure you'll catch on quickly.

Ingrid had set her dress aside, soon to shuck her socks. A chance to wash finally. The walk to the Stead was long, but she enjoyed the solitude it offered her.
The lack of much flowing water in her own kind's land left Ingrid appreciative of baths. Since the clergy of Torag often cared well for craftsmanship of all kinds, she was also accustomed to soaking her clothes. There were many rivers between the Inner Sea and Lake Encarthan, and this particular one in Southern Lastwall had a good flow. Holding the garments underneath the gurgling path and rubbing them against the smooth rocks would do the trick.
Unfortunately, the smooth stones didn't make for much in the way of footing. Losing her balance, the priestess slipped and fell into the steam. Thrashing about in the wading-depth waters (even for a dwarf), she managed to grab on to a hold. When she pulled herself out, in the distance, there was a cloaked figure ... chuckling? at her.
She quickly covered herself as the figure approached.
"Abadar, protect m-"
"Oh, come now - there's no need for that."
As Ingrid dried and dressed, it turned out the voyeuristic ranger - Clara - was a scout for lastwall - and a woman at that. Drawing back her hood, she revealed beautiful auburn hair that hung to beneath her shoulders. Dwarven hair was coarser than humans', and it made Ingrid envious; she was no exception to her kind's integumentary nature.
The woman shared some food with her. "I'm to return to Vellumis. My shift is up this season keeping the Western Fangwood clear of orcs. They're rather plentiful this year." She turned her nose up in distaste of the race.
Ingrid didn't care much either way about the greenskins, though she knew those in Belkzen were beyond reasoning. She nodded. "I'll be heading father North, myself - there's a border dispute to moderate. Going by the forest doesn't sound the best bet. I'll stick to the water."
Though the Lastwallans were not like the Nirmathasian rangers, they still had some tolerance for the denizens of the Fangwood. Ingrid wanted no part of shadowy vine beasts or whatever lurked within. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
Clara responded. "Suit yourself. I can walk with you to the city. Maybe give you some pointers. Not all trees hide things, you know."
Not all, but the people I will negotiate with can hide much, I'm sure.
Together they walked, one having finished her job, and one about to begin hers...

Well, I'll admit I've asked the rogues if one of them would be willing to change classes, since I wanted more party balance, so one of them will now be a fighter.
Which actually is going to influence my other picks, as well.
Having given it a lot of thought, I'm going to go with Ross' alchemist Argus, Ellion's cleric Ingrid, and Curaigh's summoner Lyra.
Thanks, everyone, for applying. You really did make it tough, especially since I wanted to pick more people who spent more time with the in-thread role-playing (Corsario, Alina and Crystal), but felt the class choices would make things tougher in the game.
