Background:
Alina is not a dutiful child. She was trained from a young age to be a defender of Kyonin. Her father, a storied warrior and soldier of Kyonin, was grooming her to take his place. He expected his eldest daughter to be a leader amongst the elves. But, even for her Father's position she bucked the weight of responsibility. Her last conversation with her father was being told to do what was expected, and her refusing. The last thing her father said to her was, "If you leave now, do not come back!" As Alina closed the door behind her, her father's voice shouted, "You have no home here! Begone!"

She made her way south and west, trying to get as far away as possible. For now, she has made her way onto a ship, travelling south, maybe as far as Sargava.

Appearance:
Alina moves with an almost supernatural grace. She is athletic and fit. She is equally able to wear gowns as armor, though her rebellious nature comes through in her personal style. She wears a mish-mash of Elvish, Varisian and Chelish garments; anything that suits her fancy at the time. She has long wheat blonde hair, usually tied up, or braided to be out of the way. Her eyes are blue, as an evening sky. She is self conscious about her hands and will most often wear gloves to cover them up.

Personality:
Alina is a free spirit. She prefers to laugh about the moment, and isn't sure how to plan for the future. She doesn't dwell on the past. She is not looking to be special, or important, but she won't say no to a new experience.
