GM notes: Shalelu actually did 4 points of damage to the Gob. (favored enemy) Brandark's attack on Gob 4 killed the runt. Also, Lyr's attack did miss the Gob's touch AC.


Lyr watches the lightning arc go wide and tries again, but it appears she overcorrected.

I didn't mark the healing after the goblin in the closet, so the 7hp is accurate. That last gobo did hit.

Garrath feels the stings of the arrows and roars throwing his head back. The veins on his neck and arms stand out and an inner fire burns in his eyes as he surges forward, swinging his Falchion at the goblin.

Shalelu moves behind the big Barbarian, and takes careful aim at a pathetic excuse of a creature gleefully hopping around on a table flinging arrows as though it knows what it is doing.

Shalelu smiles as she sticks the little runt.

Almost forgot favored enemy again. That is what did it too.


As Garrath with this huge Falchion squishes a Gob into a pile of goo and Shalelu drops another dancing on a table, the Goblin in front of Brandark has a moment of recognition:

Goblin:
"Wait! It's those longshanks that stopped the raid. Run!"

The Goblin (5) drops the shard of glass in his hand to a crash on the floor and begins to run in panic. Both Brandark and Garrath get attacks of opportunity on Goblin 5.

The rest of the Goblins flee from the room at break-neck speed out the double doors on the northern most wall.

I think we should be able to keep the rounds in play. The Gobs took a full round to flee as far away as they could. The Goblin just ducked under Brandark's blow. Maybe Garrath can finish it off, before we look at Kelvin's skill at Acrobatics. He really doesn't want to tumble through a zone treated as Caltrops. :)

As the last of the goblins runs out of the room. Do we want to keep any alive for questioning? Brandark indicates the 3 goblins that are still weakly breathing.

Walking forward Elektra steps on a bench, bow in hand and looks down the hall, searching Ameiko. "This was a setup.. I think. From the same culprit. Where is Ameiko?"


Garrath makes another mess of Goblin goo on the floor.

Kelvin heads down to the end of this long room and checks beyond the door.

A wheelbarrow sits against a wall here, and shelves on the walls contain additional reagents to create different colors of glass. A safe on the floor hangs open and is empty. There are several doors off of this room. Only one door is open. (X28)

I will end the encounter here to allow a breather and to provide healing etc.

Kelvin sees the open door, stealthily moves towards it and listens at it but not exposing himself to anyone or anything that might still be there. He then moves back to the big room to report what he has heard.


Kelvin looks past the open doors and sees stairs heading down. At present, he doesn't hear anything.

After hearing nothing from down the stairs, Kelvin reports back. "There are four doors past the double doors, one leaves the building and one that was open. The open one leads to some stairs going down. I am loath to head down without first making sure that no creatures are still on this floor, but I will go with what the consensus is."

Shalelu will tell the party the Goblins that just left this main room of the Glassworks headed down the stairs. Tracks to the other doors are at least a day if not older.

well that just threw that idea out was going to tap a spike in just to make it difficult to force so we could hear things trying to come up behind us.

Lyr brings the injured to her, quickly moving any goblin bodies away from them, then gives two blasts of channeled energy.

It looks like Lyr and Garrath are ready to head down the stairs. Kelvin and Brandark want to finish upstairs first. Elektra mentions she is ready "to continue searching the Glassworks." What way do you go?

Brandarks vision swims and snaps into focus in greys and whites darkvision

As I can see in total dark, I will lead, and let someone else carry the lantern With that, Brandark hefts his trusty axe, and sheild, and proceeds down the stairs.


Who is holding the lantern? And go ahead and give me a marching order at the top of the stairs. Shalelu will cover the rear in case something does come up from behind. One more item: As time passed to make a decision about the next course of action, I will say Garrath's Enlarge Person has expired. The route downstairs was designed for Medium sized folk.


Lyr laughs at the lantern. We don't need that, she says, touching the blade on her glaive. She mutters a prayer and suddenly it bursts with light. Let's go.

Cast light on the blade of my glaive. 10 minutes of light. Normal light in 20 ft. radius and another 20 ft. of increased light.

Marching order, I think Garrath, Brandark, Lyr, Kelvin, Electra. Sound good?


I am going to make one change to your Marching Order, Brandark said he was taking point. It is important, because they are waiting for you.

As you take your light into the darkness below, the remaining Goblins have been positioned by a Half-Elf bent on malice leading them.

When the Half-Elf sees the light descending and can make out the first to make it down the stairs:

the Half-Elf can be heard whispering to the Goblins.

Seeing the goblins tightly packed Elektra grabs some butter from here pouch and weaves a quick incantation Grease under the half elf and as many goblins possible. DC 17 "The grandmaster once wrote who can´t stand... can´t fight!"


Grease is a great first level spell. There is one element that stinks about it. It has a short range. Counting diagonals the Half-Elf is 30 feet in front of Brandark; and Elektra is about 20 feet behind him. I think you are out of range. If anyone sees it differently, please let me know.

@Elektra – If you can take another action in the Surprise Round, then go for it.

I am going ahead into Round One so others can get their actions in. Then piece it all together later.

The Goblins open up with a volley of arrows against the armored Dwarf.

Garrath moves up to the corner, out of sight of the bows, pulling out his new hammer as he goes with a wicked grin. He swings the hammer in an arc at the closest goblin (goblin 10).

The area behind Garrath to the east is strewn with broken bricks scattered about. It looks like a bricked up wall had been torn down.

Brandark Grimaces as 2 arrows drive into the front of his shield, and 2 go past the shield into his leg. Little goblin we are here for you again.

I counted it as double movement, and would still have had 20' more :D With reach now I can plunk any gobo that moves out of, or past the square gobo 10 is in with an AOO.
