I'm still reading and ready to post, just wanted to give some people a chance to reply and discuss first.
Edit: Plus if some people can't post during holidays I didn't want to railroad past them. Vehemence hasn't posted yet for example.

I'm tied up today with family commitments, but I'll be back in form either later tonight or definitely tomorrow.
Edt: I'm not really expecting people to be posting heavily this weekend, but I'm sure something crazy will still happen. :)

Totally hypothetically speaking, if I wanted to see if Moq was concealing anything about his turning back that he knows how would we go about insight/deception. I don't think he is buuuut it feels like something my character would analyze.

Question about the barbed netting, Does cutting the net only free yourself or everyone in the net? Do you take the barbed damage if you cut out as opposed to using the action to free yourself?
Edit: Also how can you tell if a moon headed thing is looking at you? xD
DM Critic
1. Everyone is individually netted.
2. Assuming no damage if you cut.
3. With this guy you'll know if he's looking at you. We'll leave it at that. :)

Just for clarity I've got my round 2 actions cued and ready, just wanted to let Tenchi and Aterro take round 2 first since they are before me. I didn't want to add any confusion since a lot is happened with these chameleon ladies and with the darkness up there is a literal fog of war that others actions might directly impact mine(like if the darkness is removed somehow or negated).
Vehem will likely be botted by DM so as soon as Tenchi/Aterro goes I'm going to post my own action.

And Vehemence, if/when you read this you can retroactively add your inner monologue. I understand your lemon-styles but there's no way I can do it justice. :)

No to net and dark for Vehem.
Pretty sure during round 1 everyone daisy chained cut out. Not sure how exactly but it was posted by DM based on peoples declared actions.
I believe Vehem was the only one left out of the darkness aside from Moq.
Riven the Warforged
I figured. The DM didn't react to your post so nothing is messed up, just you have to wait for the rest of round 2 actions before you can act again is all.
Riven the Warforged
So DM on the init order is Moq and the Chameleon women first? Is Moq still blinded from the ability used on him? Did Vehemence free the lion on round 2(before the lion's turn came around), if not can the lion free itself on its turn? Sorry for all the questions, want to be sure to understand the situation.
My turn won't come until after the chameleon women go anyways in round 3.

Bah. Was sick after New years. Not anything normal either, but a headache like a knife in the skull. And I didn't even drink! that much...
Thratch
I'm sick right now. Massive headache. Both the kids were sick all weekend and are just getting over it; but now my daughter is getting sick again.
Half the people at my work are sick, too.
And my wife has been working until 7pm every day this week, so it's just me taking care of two sick kids while being sick myself. Also, my two year old daughter kept crawling out of her bed and into mine so she could tell me that she wants to go back to her bed. So I would have to get up, carry her back to bed, tuck her in, and then try to go back to sleep. Only to repeat the process about every twenty minutes. All night long.
It's difficult to think right now. Hopefully Sudafed and coffee will keep me going.
On that note, I'll probably be fairly quiet the next few days. Please don't wait for me to advance the story; I'll jump in when I'm able.

So....there's a flu bug going around, but it only gives headaches...?

Its funny but a lot of other people I know also are getting hit with the sickness as well past week. Curse Nurgle and his machinations.

Anyone else having trouble with the roll20 map again? I'm in another game with a roll 20 map and I can get in their just fine, but every time I try this one I get the Not Authorized message. :/

The good news: I get a different message.
Bad news: It says "Unauthorized -- Your Session to Access This Game Has Expired." =/

Are you signed in to Roll20?
Brother Aterro

Hrmmmm.
Yes, that page works fine, and, yeah, I am signed in to roll20. But alas MotBM doesn't show up in my list of games for some reason.
From the campaign page how do I get to the map?
Of note, on that page it only shows 3 players: Bookrat, Warsor, and Tom.

You should see a "Join Game" link on the page.

Some housekeeping items:
1. I'm thinking going forward of switching to group initiative instead of individual for combat. Basically I roll for the players then NPCs, and then average the rolls for each side. The side with the higher average has initiative, and everyone acts as they can rather than in a fixed order.
This should improve combat since you aren't waiting on anyone or have to worry about retcons if you act out of turn.
I'll still roll advantage for characters who have it and the higher roll will apply in the average.
Any objections or concerns?
2. I redid the Roll20 map image, which is a hybrid of the painting and line art from the book. The last version fudged a lot of the map numbers due to how I extracted and resized it from the PDF. Everything is pretty much where it was, but the numbers are more accurate and readable.
Addendum:
For those of you afflicted with the death plague of death, I hope you're feeling better and on the road to recovery. This seems to be the time of year for the gift of pestilence after the holidays. We'll pick back up when folks are recovered.

Hey guys. Bad news.
I've developed tendinitis in both my hands, as part of a repetitive motion injury. As such, it's painful to type, either with a computer or my phone.
I still want to play the game, but my posting rate will significantly decrease until my hands have healed. Doc says it should take about 3-4 weeks.
Please don't wait on me to post for moving the scene forward. I'll jump in when I can.
For now, I'm going to focus on finishing an AL game I'm running. Once that closes down, I'll have one fewer game to worry about.
