Masks of the Living God (Inactive)

Game Master Stetrix

A few days have passed since the events at the Crypt of the Everflame and life in the town is beginning to return to normal. The folks are still quite wary of the dark, worried that some overlooked undead fiend might stalk from the crypt.

With everyone rested, healed and Anaba's strength returned to normal. You spend some time resupplying and thinking of the grave robbers, how to get the Amulet back and the hidden treasure horde and where the three amulets will lead.

I have a Chronicle Sheet question that I really never needed to ask before now. When an item states limit one does that mean one per adventure or one per player?

Dark Archive

One per player.

I've been thinking about this pocket full of gold (or are they credits outside Absolom?). Though I can't cast Mage Armor I might go ahead and buy the wand. I would have to have Sekkim cast it, but I like the help when we might be dealing with touch spells. It can make a big difference when used with Shield.

Dark Archive

With a 1st level spell you can spend 2 prestige Points to get it or 750gp (new 50 charges) or whatever it says on the chronicle, but only 10 charges.

15 gp per charge sounds like a deal though! Add another Wand'O CLW (mine now only has 18-20 charges left). Also thinking about buffing up my armor +1 for 1000gp. I'll have just enough left over to scribe spells!

I will memorize:
0 lvl
Read Magic
Detect Magic
Light
Prestidigition

1st lvl
Enlarge Person
Shield
Shocking Grasp
Chill Touch

This should be fine for a nice trip on a boat.

Another question. Can we spend gold we discover in play to buy equipment, and keep it?

Dark Archive

yes you can

You might want to go into your account and update your character info. I noticed that I was still showing up as Lvl 2.

Silver Crusade

Just as a point of curiosity, shouldn't the enlarge person have 20 total rounds of duration (2 minutes for level 2? It's irrelevant because I'm dismissing it, but I thought I cast it after the alarm, so it should have at least 11 rounds left.

No you are right so used to casting it from a wand!

We know who Razmir is, right? It really seemed like I was supposed to know, so I googled him. I've got +7 on Arcana, Dungeoneering, Engineering, Geography, History, Local, and Planes. What's that good for in terms of IC knowledge of Razmir?

Silver Crusade

Two types of players

Silver Crusade

Neutral Good
Anaba

A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good means doing what is good and right without bias for or against order.

Chaotic Good
Buchart, Sekkim, Rolande

A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.

True Neutral
Cela

A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos (and thus neutral is sometimes called “true neutral”).

Chaotic Neutral
Fernleaf

A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions.

Im Sure you checked all this out in Kassan before you left. They are very secretive and your mission notes are going to be interesting reading at the Grand Lodge in Absalom. The Living God is a real person/God? and the followers are devout especially the higher ups. Changing Their view will be like converting a Catholic to Hari Krishna overnight. These guys are mysterious and secretive, people know about the religion but not about how they operate.
