I'll say that Bron is trying to figure out a good way to followup with Cassie, but once she realizes that no one else remembers that it's her, that's going to make her a lot less certain about how to go about things...
If Kaoru were less emotionally distraught right now, I'd probably have her approach you about music stuffs since you were practicing. So definitely consider busting the bass guitar out on a different day.
If Cassie were a bit more empathetic she'd approach Kaoru,.. but she's not. If Bron made some kind of indication (intentional or nor) that might provoke a response,...
Urrrggggghhh. On the one hand, I want the scene... On the other hand, Bronwyn tries so hard not to be super obvious...
You know? As long as it doesn't come up when she talks to Shayera, she won't know that Cassie's ID is secret, so she could come up as an 'acolyte' and not realize that she shouldn't be able to recognize Cassie as Hex.
Actually, she doesn't even need to be an acolyte, she could just be a curious classmate since Cassie's face wasn't hidden, so she'd be assuming everyone knew who she was!
Feel free to have Bronwyn trying not to stare if you'd like to start something :-)

Gaah! Been waiting all day to post the Bronwyn/Shayera meeting for Wednesday night, but I had to see how the scene with Shaun resolved! Coming in and stepping into the absolutely worst situation in Bron's household was just too tempting to avoid!
Also, held off on the Thursday stuff since I don't know how the night before went! Shayera could be in so many different kind of moods!

As much as I cringe at another hero showing up after Bronwyn's dad's little speech, I do kind of love the 'There's drama? Let's make it worse' instinct.
Also, waiting is so hard! It tends to result in me writing things that I then have to completely redo because things have totally changed, haha.

okay... how far do we want this scene to go. because one of the TSS traits I've been meaning to showcase is their... penchant for pushing people. My temptation here is for Alexandra to try to force Brownwyn to demonstrate supernatural ability by taking advantage of her disadvantages, and try to put her in a place where she either streaks, or uses her powers. How do we want to do this?

You're joking, right? That's the best part! Well, the dress code followed by the setting. It's a great power play to even the field between someone with powers and someone without. And now Bronwyn's totally getting all up in her personal space. Sooo many gay thoughts. So many.

I mean, the fact that Apex's face remained whole throughout his run in the campaign shows that I'm not looking for an excuse to punch someone out because they're shoving their nose into her business. But in all seriousness, I've got ways out if I really want to take them, I'll see how the scene feels :-)

Note: Since Bran/Bron can see through Cassie's obfuscation charm, she also won't be 'in the background' to them... Bran/Bron may notice how everyone ignores her.
Now, we see just Why the Silver Shadow has a reputation for damaging teams.
Also, Alexandra's "Puppy Girl" appellation for Alexis gets more appropriate with every post
Side note, if Shaun ever gets the "Punch out a teammate" drive, I'm totally down to be that teammate.

You almost got it now. Talk about scathing...
:| Sorry! I should mention that I'm not confident in my ability to provoke people or to guess how people will respond. As such, Kaoru ends up taking a shotgun approach: trying to hit as many buttons as possible in the hopes that something will stick. As a result, I've also just basically used up all my ideas for how to provoke Shaun.
Lol, that’s okay! Just because a button’s been pushed doesn’t mean it can’t be pushed again. And don’t worry, new ways will open up with time.
Asking an NPC to uproot how they parent seems outside the scope of a single Provoke roll, any single course of action you want Mrs. Pascal-Murphy to take?

Also, yay for not falling into the 'I'm going to unilaterally make decisions for the good of the relationship without actually consulting the other half of the relationship because I know what's best' trope.
I'm not trying to get her to to think she hasn't done right by her kids, but I want her to start thinking that in this instance -- Bronwyn's involvement in "superpowered nonsense" -- she's misguided.
It's a fun show, probably Gilbert and Sullivan's best patter song; Angela Lansbury is a treasure in the movie version, but it's not that slashy imo. Super gay, but not that slashy.

Man, now I want to see that performance. I really need to got see another pantomime at some point. And figure out if there's any way I could enjoy a Takarazuka show without being fluent in Japanese.

At the risk of making you insanely jealous, I know it's very possible. I've seen a Takarazuka show with a very dodgy level of Nihon-go comprehension. It helped having a Japanese friend who was able to explain the basics of the story to me.
Unconsciousness? Probably not. Being forced to leave the scene (probably naked in Bronwyn's case?) yeah, that's very much on the table.
Also, I'll just say that if Bronwyn were a gay guy, she would not be wondering why Pirates of Penzance was Alexandra's simile.
Yeah... but the thing that sprung most readily to mind for gay woman is a trashy YA novel series (mostly cause every lesbian I know kinda figured out they were one thanks to Ms. Pierce), and Alexandra wouldn't know those. So musical theater it was.
The Tortall ones or the Circle ones? The main thing I remember about the Tortall series is a) dress swords are rubbish and b) all the romance in it is also terrible. I really liked the Circle books though. Circle was probably the more gay one since I think they had that one couple that might have been canon.

Also, remember that if you get stuck for something for your characters to do, make up some NPCS that have a reason to interact with them. It creates hooks for other characters to get dragged along with to your scenes. Try to end posts with interactive elements to get other characters involved too.

that said, Masks is pretty non-lethal, so only real risk is retirement.

Yeah, I know, but Cassie's whole thing ATM is trying to stay on the DL so there's not too much interactions happening,... I have a few ideas but am waiting for a good opportunity that works. Bron has just provided one, which I am following up with now.... That'll get Cassie interested in a few of the others too.

I'm sure that Cassie could also bump into Alexis in classes as well, possibly both of them partnered together because they're the last ones left, needing to work on a dissection perhaps?

Pretty sure you're only supposed to do that if the crisis is along of the lines of "I'm gay and in love with you". But I guess you're a little late to hit that one. ;-P
Also, if Kaoru and Shaun both go on the not-date, this is what it'll look like. Kaoru's really regretting the fact that Shaun doesn't know her name right now.

Semi-related, do we want a villain to show up at the movie theater? Or is it too soon after Bone Daddy? It just occurred to me that the movies are a reasonable place for all of us to go even if we're not officially a "team" yet and if it's right after school, Bronwyn could conceivably ditch track to get around her being grounded. Just a thought since more and more people seem to be getting snowballed into this.
