Moving the dancing lights to the opposite side of the door frame, Jarvis with 2 hands holding his scimitar tightly peers around the corner into the room to see what kind of foul undeath surely lays is within, a steady breath leaves his mouth as he readies himself, beads of sweat falling down his face.

Turning back to look at the previous door where his companions are, looking to see if anyone is there looking my way.

Wanting to be done with this place of darkness, even though he knew rationally they had been only been underground for less than an hour, Cyrus called once more upon Zors casting the light spell once more to guide his steps.

Pulling out the knotted cord, his connection between the land of the living and the divine, Cyrus called the energy of life, of second chances and of cheating death against all odds to himself and sent it blasting towards the undead swarm with all the frustration and anger in his soul.

With that channel Cyrus notices, the rats on the floor are a swarm also!
The door is open Hagrym, but you could shut it! Roll initiative. There is now a cloud of dust in the room after about a hundred bats explode into dust. One flies out towards Jarvis and it crumples as he swats it.

At the news of dealing with a swarm of undead bats and who knows what else, Galerio stows his crossbow and gets his torch lit and then moves towards the rest of the group, ready to crisp any critters coming his way.

Only if you are an evoker like Shandar. He gets additional damage from evocation spells and will cast burning hands if he gets a chance. Just talked to him via voice.

The party has had a rather stressful day with quite a few encounters so taking a break and going back to the inn for a night's rest would not be uncalled for. However, this is Lessef with less than 25 people so the GP limit is 10 GP and the total assets are 45! So finding alchemist fire would mean a several day trip to the thriving community of Anvil Plunge. It has a whole 91 people and a 100 GP limit. Anvil Plunge is about 75 miles to the north east.

I agree that leaving this critters until Shandar can recharge all his Burning Hands at the least is the way to go. I think we are all in pretty good shape health wise, so maybe like Turv suggests we can try yet another room

If/when we rest, I can create 2 vials of Holy Water plus with some RPing, perhaps we can convince Almery to create a similar amount for us as well. Give those with the best Ranged ability those vials and if we can scrape up any lamp oil then use it.

In this instance, I think the holy water solution might be the quickest and most cost effective. Although, it will tap me out of anything besides my positive energy bursts and 0 orisons for the rest of the day.

Almery has a CLW potion for you for resolving the chicken issue and might be talked into creating another, but he would need the silver to bless water. The tribbles of 1st level characters. FYI, cure light wounds damages undead on a touch attack. They do get a Will Save for half damage.
