About all Turvijagal can do is hit with his (Masterwork) shortsword and dagger if/when something comes his way. He'll ready those. Here are the rolls, should they be needed:

Although Cyrus thought he was prepared for the onslaught of the undead bat and rat rush, seeing them pour out towards him like a chittering and flapping tidal wave weakened his resolve and he felt his confidence in Zors' gift weaken also. Instead of a bright golden glow, a pale gold tinted burst of white pulsed out and towards the creatures.

Holy Burst: 1d6 ⇒ 2 DC: 13 for half.

I seriously have the worst luck with holy bursts. *sigh*
