Heyo folks. Let's get the party started. As you'll see in gameplay, we've got a bit of foreplay to start with - filling out the forms!
Bureaucracy simulator, go!
Basically, you'll be deciding on your Agency name, its location within Lethe and what facilities you start with. The building you have will have 1500gp worth of rooms within it - how you choose which rooms you have is entirely up to you, although the obvious choice would be splitting it equally between the party, or doing so after you have bough certain essentials.
Here is the list such, just use the GP prices.
This is also the time to start interconnecting your characters, who should be at least familiar enough with everyone that you're willing to form a business with them. If you guys want to be lovers, friends, acquaintances or rivals - I'll leave that to you.

I will try to finish Lavi Samnang of Lethe soon
She's Catfolk and very shooty. Originally an Arcane Archer Fighter D&D character (with the lover background...because the lover *and* a fighter needed to be done) that I've decided to convert over to Pathfinder so I can play her again. I'm going through classes to see which will fit her best. Currently looking at Magus with the Eldrich Archer archetype and the Cabalist archtype.
I was going to do another kayal...because kayal...but I really want to play Lavi again.

Lohn of Lethe |

Let's put this in here and see how it looks to folks...

Cassandra of Lethe |

Background time...
The School taught commoner students how to be perfect servants for the noble ladies. How to dress, etiquette, and even how to defend you lady...hence Cassandra's great skills with daggers.
It was here that Cassandra met and fell in love with Lady Sharon. They were roommates and they entered a loving BDSM relationship together. Her parents were not pleased. They sent her there to learn how to exploit the nobility...not fall into love with them. They pretty much disowned her at this point. Lady Sharon continued to pay for tuition for Cassandra out of her allowance.
During her time there she went on field trips to courts of other lands. On one such trip Cassandra and Lady Sharon met the noble woman who would become Lady Vulpina. The three became quick friends.
After graduation Cassandra moved into Lady Sharon's family Manor. Her parents did not approve of the relationship...and Lady Sharon was all ready arranged to marry a older gentleman. Her parents also had very extensive criminal contacts told their daughter to end the relationship or they would have Cassandra killed. So Lady Sharon without a choice broke it off with Cassandra.
Cassandra with broken heart wandered the city not knowing what to do...at this point she met a old friend...Lady Vulpina. Who agreed to take Cassandra into her srvice...

Potential Casse Files
We'll do this the simple method, where everyone votes for what they wanna do. In the event we have 2-2-1, the person with the one will decide between the others. Please try and vote, as it makes me cry when we get stuck. And that's why we don't have Unicorns anymore.

Lohn of Lethe |

Lohn is leaning towards the Old Family Recipe Case, as a tradesperson she totally understands and respects the need for 'trade secrets' to remain exactly that.

Lady Vulpina of Lethe |

Vulpina will advocate for the missing princess, as a fellow noblewoman. Having the city itself acknowledge us will also do wonders for our reputation, and the reward is greatest.

Cassandra of Lethe |

Rescuing the princess would be nice for our rep and our coin pouches...
Though helping the find the person who brother was killed is nice for our rep among the lower class...

Lavi Samnang |

Lavi leans towards A Tainted Well because it has affected the most people and someone poisoning the water is a serious concern.
However, considering the three that have been voted for so far, Lavi would likely have her heartstrings pulled most by Saliask Kelmra with A Brother's Murder with Triel.
-------------------
I've updated Lavi's equipment and funds. She has picked up the roar cord, has a normal (if stylish) hip quiver rather than the magic one I was looking at, and I picked up a wand of cure light wounds in case of an emergency because...that's become almost a staple of my characters as the false bottom cup and charcoal sticks. I also ensured Lavi had plenty of backup tailored outfits to choose from.
I will try to have her appearence and fluff up by this evening.

Lavi Samnang |

Fluffed it up:
Lavi keeps a polished appearence as best she can, typically in androgynous tailored style. She is most often found wearing fine fashionable blazer, high quality shirts, and thick kilts over her protective gear though the quality neckguard is easy for others to spot when Lavi is not wearing a scarf.
Her well-combed fur is a light greyish brown with a leopard-like darker rosettes pattern. Her twinkling eyes are a dark amber and Lavi is known for her polished, charming, disarming smile.
Lavi doesn't talk about her family much. There isn't much to tell - they live quite far away so are easily ignored, they prioritize money and reputation above all else and are known for their good luck. Neither Lavi nor her family have had reason to speak to each other in several years. Lavi is aware there are things that her family keeps secret in order to keep their social status and considers herself now to be among them so she treats them in kind.
Lavi has survived since adolescence traveling around, doing odd jobs, connecting with and helping people...and learning to deal with those who can't be helped in various ways. This leads to a range of interesting stories - both amusing and heartbreaking, her own and mix of others - an odd mix of knowledge and aquaintances, and a way with people whether to be charming or where to shoot them. She prides herself on picking up something from everyone and mixing them up her own way - like learning archery skills from an elven mercenary group she worked with for a while, but perfecting it for herself with the help a half-orc girlfriend and one of their many shared loves: oversized bows.
Lavi has been in Lethe for years, how many depends on the telling but enough that she's lived and networked in all the various areas. The Arch welcomed her in far harder times and still holds a fond place in her heart, the Steps the best for meeting interesting new people and places to charm them, the Docklands are a bit chilly for her but good for tales from farther afield, the Markets a long favourite place when she has time and money to spend unlike the Flatlands which Lavi avoids almost like a plague as being quite dull and pretencious and little of interest. Central is only slightly better to Lavi so it was as much a surprise to her as anyone else who knew her that she ended up with a sizeable property there. She doesn't talk much about how she got it other than how it was a good investment from a few people who owed her...a lot.
She's still working out how to best use of the place. Lavi seems just as interested as acting the landlady and the business that entails as she does with the office side of things and fully intends to keep balancing the two and more.
Lavi likes to play it cool but tends to have a ton of plate spinnings both in her head and in her life.
She has a strong interest in fashion and does her best to keep a well-groomed appearence though she purposefully does not wear any jewelery nor buys or has any of her clothes tailored in the Central or Flatlands. Some might call it reversed snobbery, Lavi says she likes giving money to old friends with underappreciated hard earned quality skill who will value her coin and attention more.
Lavi cares a lot about people, and loves to hear the stories and see the work of others. She prides herself on having a good eye for quality though her overuse of that line in getting a deal or wooing others in a well known joke among her friends.
Lavi is very transient. While she does tend to long term view and attempting to do what will have maximum benefit, she has little positive thought to the concepts of legacy. She has seen many such plans washed away in the rain. She works - often many things - that are for dealing with the now. Currently, that seems to involve her being a landlady in the wealthiest district of Lethe, working as an investigator, while still not uncommonly being seen and doing other business in many of the city's others places.

Lohn of Lethe |

Ready to move out.

Lohn of Lethe |

Just a head's up, Lohn's player will be at a convention all weekend starting on Thursday and will have a heck of a time posting using a tablet.
They should be back on Monday evening.

Triel Siadon |

Maybe we should make preparations to protect ourselves in case things go wrong--a scroll of magic circle of protection from evil wouldn't go amiss.

Lady Vulpina of Lethe |

Additionally: do we have any way of communicating silently with an invisible Lohn? If not, I'm actually considering having different-color strips of paper that she can slide under the door from inside. Green means "no danger, enter," yellow means "enter cautiously," orange means "enter and expect a fight immediately," red means "we're leaving, NOW. Run, maybe."
Possibly more/alternate colors. iirc, these slips would be invisible until they've left Lohn's grasp, which wouldn't be until they appear on our side of the door.

That is a great idea...
