Yea, I know Katapesh is mainly a desert, but I swear from past knowledge of the geography, there are small forests in and around Katapesh.
I'll just change the flavour if not.
Edit: Just looking at a map of the area, Apollo was born in the Evergrowth, and this is where his adoptive family found him, before they later relocated to the Sparadyn Jungle, which is where his entire back story took place.

Well, the deadline has come. This was somehow a more difficult choice with more slots available, but I had to do it, so I did. My decision should not reflect poorly on your character-making skills, because you all did a wonderful job.
And now...-drumroll-
-Keth, the animal-loving earth demihuman!
-Dmitri Mavis, the sadomasochist and ladies' man!
-Apollo Randasian, the Moses-Barbarian-Ranger-Dino-Owner!
-Korityliya, the slaver turned slave!
-Angmar, the tough-as-nails Angradd proponent!
-Sabeen, the more than slightly crazy witch!
Congratulations or condolences to all, and I'll see those of you accepted in the other threads momentarily.

Hey all!
I've had some inactivity these past couple of weeks/months/etc. I've decided to re-open recruitment for this campaign. Character creation guidelines are found on the first page of this thread.
Currently, the party is exploring the town of Katapesh, eliminating threats.
The party consists of:
Angmar, dwarven inquisitor of Angradd
Apollo, human ranger/fighter
Dmitri, human fighter/antipaladin of Lilith
Kori, drow barbarian/oracle of battle
I'll be back later with more or answers to questions, but please signal interest!

Not precisely. I saw this campaign as an opportunity for the players to be quite morally grey, because I saw most of the adventures to be basically just being employed or being out of necessity.
I like to homebrew it so that paladins can be NG or CG and antipaladins can be NE or LE, as long as their alignment matches their dieties. Dmitri is LE.
I figured - why can only CE and LG dieties have holy warriors?
As for the drow, she's a CN former slave in it for her freedom and the lulz.

It is indeed quite open. I'm looking for two to three players to fill in some blanks.
New recruits would be making 4th-level characters, and entering a gnoll-infested town to discover the current party.
It seems to be that everybody can make a post every couple of days. This is actually one of the reasons I'm looking for new people - I want to re-energize the campaign and get it moving faster again.

Are you comfortable moving the game along when appropriate or do you prefer to wait for everyone to post for any given interaction?
One post every two days sounds a bit slow for my preferences. I was part of the group that finished all of Skull and Shackles in four months in PBP. /flex
Another concern is group comp. The character I had in mind for this AP was a fallen wrestler/pitfighter. It looks like the party is almost entirely bruisers already. =P

Oh and when I get back to the little guy, you'll have to put up with a baby t-rex who currently acts like a bewildered toddler.
I fight with a hammer, aim to claim the weapons of those I personally beat and am specifically a Gnoll hater who loves to cave skulls in. I am chaotic good though, and probably the most down to earth character in the group.
Dimitri is a self harmer. Our party is pretty out there tbh, but it's all good fun.

We're so melee heavy already, it would be hard for anyone at ranged to have room to operate anyways. Opposed, I am not, but it's really up to the GM anyways.
Though, I don't think fast posters were what we were looking for as much as reliable posters. I personally think there is such thing as the pace going too fast (I work full time, go to school half-time, and PbP for relaxing fun). Too me posting too fast makes my responses smaller and shorter, which in turn makes it harder to really get a personal feel for the character. That's just me.

Oddly enough, I am a fairly frequent and regular poster (just look at the gameplay thread). I just think something like 6 modules in 4 months can actually be too fast. I wouldn't even want to go that fast on tabletop, let alone PbP tends to be a slower medium by most norms. I was just saying that we may not be looking for that kind of speed. Maybe going from 1 post per day or two, to 1-2 posts daily.
