I'm gonna need to bring a few I think. That and some other things to keep me occupied. I usually take my own snacks and beverages as well. I don't like eating on the train, and hate paying their prices. I just hope the 7 hour transfer, doesn't turn into a 20 hour one like they can sometimes. I've had that happen before.

Also, this will be my first time travelling on the train alone since I crushed my leg. I'm not exactly sure how it'll all work out. I used to be able to balance myself really well on the train...now, I'm not so sure. Yes....I know, I'm kinda freaking out about it...but I kinda can't help it.

I've NEVER been away from Henry this long either. I'm only planning on being gone for like two weeks...but, since we've been married we've never really been apart and I can't imagine not being with him. I'm sure the girls will help with that though. It's just gonna be at night when it gets really hard for me.

I know that probably sounds like super lame....but, he's my other half and I feel incomplete without him. Too mushy?

Done with that and got my travel size lotion, body spray, & body wash from bath and body while we were there. I still had the gift card his mom gave me on my birthday and they were having a sale. Now were on to Bass Pro Shop to find the right kind of boots to keep my feet warm and dry in the snow, and keep me from falling on my ass in the ice. Lol

Well....apparently women in the f'ing south aren't allowed to have decent boots for winter with the right kind of tread, cuz all I could find was men's boots and to HELL with that! I was gonna settle for men's 11 Magellan boots cuz 10 was too small.....but ya know what? No....I ain't even gonna do that shit. If I can't find something decent here....it'll have to wait till I'm in N.Y. I just don't wanna get off the train and sink in a bunch of snow up to my damn calves. Lol
There is nothing cute about trying to prepare for this trip.....I'm just gettin the essentials, I've just never been that far north before.....so I'm kinda guessin at what I need. I haven't eaten today yet either so I guess I'm getting a little crabby.

I am angry....and pretty frustrated....but, it's not because of you. It's almost impossible to even find regular shoes in my size, let alone anything special like hiking boots, or other outdoors kinds of things.

Okay, finally got everything sorted out.

I'll be leaving Little Rock this Friday on the 9th at 11:39 pm
Arriving in Chicago at 1:52pm on the 10th where I'll have about a 7 1/2 hour layover before I have to change trains.

Leave Chicago at 9:30pm on the 10th
Arrive in Syracuse N.Y. on the 11th at approximately 11:38am

Anything can happen when you travel and trains are not exclusive from delays, but I'll have my phone with me and can notify Cindy if there's such an issue.

Coming back I'll leave the station in Syr on the 26th at 9:41pm
Arrive in Chicago on the 27th at 9:45am, another 7 1/2 hour wait

Then leave Chicago on the 27th at 1:45pm
Arrive in Little Rock on 28th at approximately 3:02am and be home in time for our 12 year anniversary.

So...while I'm travelling and possibly away, my posting may be a bit sparse and I do apologize, but there is a 7 year old little girl that needs me and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

The heart cath itself isn't going to be done right away while I'm there....but, they are going to be doing more tests and checking her heart valves while I'm there so I'll know EXACTLY what's going on with my baby girl.

Wish me luck, cuz in a few more days....It's Adventure Time!! Lol Not really, but yeah.

Still...just a teensy bit nervous. Oh...but the great news is that the agent was able to put me in a lower level coach seat going and coming while on the Texas Eagle so that I'm on the same level as the bathrooms and don't have to worry about going up and down those steep stairs unless I want to be up on the observation car or something. So...in the way I really feel much safer.

Ummm...I'm sure it's changed since then...and I most likely will NOT be leaving the station. Lol I'm gonna be taking books with me and make sure I have the charger for my phone.

I gotta run to Wal Mart here in just a bit and get an ink cartridge for the printer so I can print out my itinerary, and ticket scanny thingy. I also need to get some small bottles of water as well as snacks to take that will keep me for about two days.

Guess it's a good thing I'm not eating that much anymore. Hehe
