Well now my Aunt Fawnette wants us to come out sometime soon to spend some time with her. It's gonna be at least a week or two before I go anywhere. She said, "I want ya to spend the night here." So I laughed and was like I'm not going anywhere without Henry again and then she laughed and told me she'd find a place for him to sleep too.

Okie dokie, so the lady came by and scanned my ticket and said I could have a lower level seat if I needed it. I'm thinking about it. There isn't a lower level on this car, but there is one a car back or so. I'm gonna wait till the train is moving good to see how I do on the stairs before making up my mind.

Today is our Anniversary....but it doesn't really matter what we do cuz we're together. 12 years today.....it just seems so long, and yet as if no time has passed at all. How is that possible? Oh yeah, cuz I LOVES him!!!

Just to let everyone know....there's lots of life stuff going on with us right now that we're trying to deal with, so posting may be a little erratic for the next few days or so. I'm trying to get things like insurance, school, bills, finding jobs agian, ect...things like that right now...so we may be doing some running here and there. I gotta contact my old school to get some information for the new one I'm trying to go to and such. Things are just sort of in a state of upheaval with us right now....but, we're working on it.

We really appreciate all the patience with the odd hours of posting and etc as I was travelling through distant lands over the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping things will get back to some kind of normal rhythm soon.

Did as much as we could today about the real life stuff, now time to relax a little before bed. Got more stuff to do tomorrow. Gotta get in contact with some people and the school I'm looking into. I don't want to do anything until I talk to an advisor and make sure I'm moving in the right direction.

Still trying to take care of some billing issues with the stupid physicians group with the idiots at the hospital. The people in charge of the billing today said they were contesting the charge on my behalf and taking it up directly with their patient representative from the insurance.

Just lots of little things that need to be done so they don't become huge issues that make me want to hunt down people and hurt them horribly. Hehe

The artwork is something I picked up about 4 years ago when we spent a week in Eureka Springs for Henry's 30th birthday. When I made the reservations I told them it was for his birthday, so when we got up there we found that they decorated it for his birthday with a banner and stuff. Anyways, we had been meaning to frame it for a long time, so he had it custom framed for me at Michael's for our Anniversary while I was gone. My boobear is the best. Still running around and stuff today, gotta see his mom too.

Hey GM and Terra, did you guys ever feel that your blindsight was over or under powered? I just created a race that has blindsight 30ft and no eyes, but I wanted an opinion before entering him into a campaign.

Blind Racial trait:
Some Forsaken, whether to guard against the horrors of their realm or from the insanity such horrors invoke, either remove, cover, or otherwise make useless their eyes. These poor souls rarely survive, but if they do, they learn to sense the flow of energy around them and, coupled with their other senses, achieve a form of sight. Blind forsaken gain Blindsight 30ft and a +5 Racial bonus to sound based perception checks and bluff checks, and can generally pinpoint nearby combatants by sound unless an opposing stealth check is made. Those with a ki pool may spend a point to double the range of blindsight for ten minutes per hit die. They cannot read and take a -5 penalty to sense motive checks, and cannot make sight based perception checks outside of their field of blindsight.

If the forsaken uses any spell, potion, or action that removes his blindness, he must roll on the following table.
d% Effect
1-5 Poor sight, -5 to perception, Blindsight removed
6-84 All special abilities are removed
85-93 Blindsense is retained, all others are removed
93-98 Blindsense, +5 to sound based peception
99-100 All abilities are retained, all penalties are removed

This trait replaces Shadowsight

And if anybody wants, Here's the rest of the Race.

Forsaken:

Sometimes, by cosmic accident or magical interference, young ones are cast into other planes of existence while still alive. In even more astronomically rare circumstances, they survive. Most of the survivors are human, and most, if they come back, come from the shadow plane.

Flexible (2 RP)
Benefit: To survive in the Shadow Plane, Forsaken must be fast in mind and body. They receive a +2 Racial bonus to DEX and INT

Fast (1 RP)
Prerequisites: Normal speed.
Benefit: Forsaken still exist slightly in the shadow realm, which is smaller than the material in terms of distance. As such they have a base speed of 40 ft.

Shadowsight 60 Feet (2 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Forsaken can see in the dark up to 60 feet, and can detect creatures moving through the shadow plane

Fearless (1 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: You grew up in the shadow plane… Forsaken gain a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear effects.
Special: This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by the lucky (greater or lesser) racial trait.

Defensive Training, Lesser (1 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: The creatures that inhabit the Shadow plane are best avoided rather than confronted. Forsaken gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC against Outsiders with ties to the shadow plane and a +2 bonus to Stealth checks to avoid detection from such a foe.

PTSD (-1 RP)
Escaping from the Shadow Plane is the only goal of a Forsaken One. Once done, if a Forsaken ever comes into contact with the shadow plane again (i.e. Shadow Walk) he becomes Shaken for 1d3 minutes (will save DC 15 reduces to 1d3 rounds) and becomes fatigued the following day because of nightmares (Will save DC 18 negates)

I built him for a Carrion Crown campaign because my Swashbuckler has a pretty good chance of dying next week :/

Awe...sorry to hear that. But it's not over till it's over and you ain't dead yet. It's always good to have a backup plan though, just in case.

Just feeling a little discombobulated. I got a headache cuz I was describing something to Henry earlier and though I didn't mean to I sort of accidentally bopped myself in the head with the heel of my hand. Well...that was a while ago. So...then I had Henry get up and I was hugging on him and I closed my eyes and put my hands up to his head and then I started feeling better...but...then he said his head started hurting, but now I'm feeling dizzy.

Not good, not happy. I still got lots of stuff to do on the computer...but I think staring at the screen is making it worse. The glasses sitting on my face don't seem to be helping either. It's like adding weight or something. I can't tell if it's from my sinuses, or from whacking myself in the head. I would laugh...but it hurts.

Lol....you're not the first person to say that. It was that AoO that I took against myself. I rolled a 20 to hit, and a 1 to defend and gave myself a maybe the slightest of concussions. I thought I would stop before bringing my hand all the way to my forehead....but, nope.

Honestly...I don't know how I do these things to myself half the time. I've had worse though. Like sitting in a friends garage and while on a computer minding my own business, have someone lean against a lose support beam and having it come crashing down on top of my head. I don't think I even blacked out from that one. Minor concussion...in fact with all the times I've hit my head on stuff it's surprising I'm not a mere vegetable. Lol
