The Watch Captain ordered your team to proceed to the Avalos system to link with Inquisitor Kalistrade and eradicate the genestealer infestation there. The Imperial Sword class frigate Valiant stands ready to bring you there now.
Four to Six stalwart Space Marines are needed to fill the ranks of the Kill Team. Play whichever specialty and chapter makes you happy. Books that you can use: Core and Rites of Battle. Deeds are allowed. As per the Rules, roll for your stats. Expect me to post updates at around this time each day. Requisition Points: 65. N.B. Please read the Living Errata available at FFG website so we are all using the same updated rules.

Alright. let's roll first, then, and see what can be done :)
WS: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (9, 2) = 41
BS: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (2, 9) = 41
Str: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (1, 8) = 39
Tou: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (1, 1) = 32
Agi: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (9, 5) = 44
Int: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (8, 6) = 44
Per: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (1, 6) = 37
Wil: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (5, 1) = 36
Fel: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (6, 4) = 40
Really? Well, I'll have to think carefully where to place my reroll, since I was thinking Librarian, but that 1+1 in Toughness is so nice...
My highest rolls are 44, LOL
Edit: gonna reroll Toughnes... then let's see what can I do. Devastator is sooooooo dul... Librarian is down the loo with this Willpower. So probably Techmarine or Apothecary, or just plain Tactical.
Tou reroll: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (10, 8) = 48

Time to roll:
WS:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (8, 2) = 40
BS:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (9, 6) = 45
Str:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (9, 4) = 43
Tou:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (2, 8) = 40
Agi:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (2, 5) = 37
Int:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (3, 6) = 39
Per:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (3, 10) = 43
Wil:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (7, 3) = 40
Fel:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (3, 1) = 34
I am not sure which to reroll yet. I am leaning toward Assault Marine.
Rerroll: Agi:: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (10, 8) = 48

I've been wanting to get into some 40k games, so count me interested. Let's see what I roll up!
WS: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (4, 5) = 39
BS: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (8, 7) = 45
Str: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (7, 1) = 38
Tou: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (3, 10) = 43
Agi: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (2, 10) = 42
Int: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (1, 9) = 40
Per: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (8, 10) = 48
Wil: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (10, 5) = 45
Fel: 30 + 2d10 ⇒ 30 + (10, 1) = 41
Wounds: 18 + 1d5 ⇒ 18 + (4) = 22
I'm thinking I'll go Librarian. Always fun to try and play a Psyker in 40k

Thank you for the invite to the string Radavel. Here is Viluf as he currently is. I do not know what you want me to change to comply however.
And Viluf swore the Oath after losing his brothers in battle. The last of his kill team he left the Homeworld and swore the oath, choosing to live out his days and die as part of the Deathwatch rather than his home Chapter.

Um, Viluf I believe was made with 2,000 XP more (i.e. Rank 2). So you will need to delete some of the advances he has acquired in excess of the standard starting PC.
Just a reminder to all: you will be dealing with a genestealer infestation. Arm yourselves accordingly.

Okay, I think I managed to get the majority of his crunch sorted out, along with spending the XP and Requisition. Here is my Librarian of The Black Templars, Eridas Stormeyes.
Black Templars don't have librarians. Perhaps a different chapter: Imperial Fists or Crimson Fists., or heaven forbid, a Soul Drinker ;-)

Oh. It's written kinda confusingly in the CRB about what Specialties are allowed. Using 'Restrictions' makes it sound like only these Specialties can be part of this Chapter. Should probably put 'Banned' or 'Disallowed' or something.
And while the Crimson Fist sound cool to be a part of, I can't for the life of me find any tabletop info on them. The kind of write up that's int he Deathwatch CRB. All I keep finding is fluff and info concerning their units for use in the miniatures game.

Brother Gaius Cornelius (Jereru) ready for battle (though still some gear to pick and fluff to make).
One question: Do we have 65 Requisition Points to spend? If possitive, we do still need to fulfull the Renown, I suppose...
Yup you each have 65 requisition points. But you all must satisfy renown.

I would be up for throwing my hand in for an Apothecary, though I have no idea what Chapter. Possibly Dark Angels, or a successor?
WS: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (6, 9) + 30 = 45
BS: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (6, 2) + 30 = 38
Str: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (7, 10) + 30 = 47

Per: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (7, 9) + 30 = 46
Wil: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (6, 3) + 30 = 39
Fel: 2d10 + 30 ⇒ (1, 4) + 30 = 35
Nohwear |
Nohwear, how goes the assault marine?
Info on the Crimson Fists are also available in the supplement: Honour the Chapter. Note: Timeline-wise the game is set before the events of Rynn's World.
Final Note: One slot left, an Apothecary will help this Kill Team a lot ;-)
I will try to finish him after work today.

In digging further into the Dark Angels, I have selected their successor chapter the Consecrators for my character.
Power Armour Mark: 1d5 ⇒ 4 only 1d5 as opposed to 1d10 because they can only have up to Mk 6 armour, and 6-10 on the chart generates mk 7 and mk 8
Power Armour History roles (2 for Mk 6 Corvus)
table selection: 2d5 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5
2 = Battle Scars
3 = Legends of War
Table 3-11: Battle Scars: 1d10 ⇒ 7 Battered by War (+10 intimidate, -5 charm)
Table 3-12: Legends of War: 1d10 ⇒ 4 Emperor's Finest (+5 pinning, fear, command)

Ok, this is my avatar for my Consecrator Apothecary. Still working through filling in the avatar and requisitions. A little confused on requisitions as several of the other characters have weapons that require higher than base Renown rating. Care to clarify?
Also, going to take the Deed Initiate of Secrets. Just feel like you have to have that extra little Fallen Angel piece as a Dark Angel.
Insanity: 1d10 ⇒ 6

Some of that is just left over from pccrevious campaigns. And I are both downscaling our characters both xp and requisition. I should be done over the wknd.
@Radavel do our marines have any clue as to whether this likely to be ship based or planetoids? I have kitted up for Tyranids planetoids is all, but if they don't know and it turns out to be ship-based I won't be put out.

As per my earlier post, can you elaborate on how you acquired the Initiate of Secrets deed?
