I want to be there for Gaming, however, I am having so much trouble with my back with a cyst pressing on nerves on my right side, that my right foot is partially numb. I will be getting shots for the SI Joint as well where I have pain and the combination of the two is enough to leave me laying in bed with pain killers and anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxers that leave me sleepy. I don't like that fact since I am a very active person and I don't want to stop being active.
Gary had to call the EMTs on Saturday because I could not get out of bed because when I moved, I SCREAMED LOUD ENOUGH TO WAKE THE DEAD! AND I'm NOT a screamer. And that is literal. I had not been able to get down stairs until today to check everything. I am looking forward to getting back into bed so I can rest my back. I am also looking forward to finding out whether I need surgery to remove this cyst. And it may be a forgone conclusion that I may have to in order to get my back healthy again.

"If a character takes damage equal to or higher than his Wound
Threshold in a single attack, he can be knocked down. To determine
whether the character resists being knocked down, the player must
make a Knockdown Test using his Strength step. The Difficulty, or
Knockdown, Number is the difference between the Damage Points
taken and the character's Wound Threshold +3. If the Knockdown
Test is successful, the character remains standing."
I rolled it already, though. Your target number was 20-8+3= 15 on your d10, so it was pretty darn unlikely you'd manage to stay up.

Looks like my first impression didn't impress so much this time. Have to work on that. But if he needs an artisan skill, maybe I'll try juggling again. That worked last time.

Yes, we did. You can read my notes when we get back together for the next live game. You know me I keep notes. Helps me to remember what went on before as well.

Maizi |

I am a bit far-sighted, but not enough so to read your notes... from NY. And I don't think I actually do know you. Not that it wouldn't be a pleasure, I'm sure.
It may be confusing because Debbie (I think) is Maizi's live game player, and I, Meg, am Maizi's play-by-post player in NY.
Just, when someone gets a chance, lemme know the latest.

OT: I will be having surgery (Alisa-not Grayson) on Monday for a herniated disk where part of the disk has appeared to have broken off and is pressing on the nerve root in on S1 joint, near where the right hip meets the spine. It is an out patience procedure. It will take 2-6 weeks of recovery time. I am not supposed to lift anything the first week. I can lift up to 10 pounds the second. After the second I should be able to lift 20 pounds. They want me to walk 15 minutes two and three times a day and they want me to start walking that same day of the surgery.
As for gaming, I am planning on being there for our next game, so save me a place at the table. Graysom's juggling might be a little off, but hopefully I should juggle my dice just fine.

Haven't seen anything on the Online either of late. Been a bit too quiet. Makes me wonder what our GM is up to. Of course I should remember if the GM is quiet . . . it means something up . . . we players will have what out! :-)

OT: Surgery went well. It was outpatient so I got to go home. Started in my walking. Walked two 30 minute walks. Did a little more than what was intended, but I guess I'm an overachiever when it comes to wanting to get back to my routine. (And that's a Dickerson for you . . . always wanting to do more than what is expected). Can't wait to get back to my full routine. My intent is to come to gaming. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk this week, next week I can lift 10 pounds, and then after that, 20. Can't wait to be cleared by my doctor so I can start in with my exercising again.

They want you up and moving pretty much right away. Herniated Disk surgery is now considered out patient and the incision is only two inches long. The hardest is the walking because I don't have full feeling in my right foot due to the nerves having been overstimulated or pinched. My doctor indicated that it could take a year for the feeling to come back. But I made myself an herbal tea with the herbal knowledge that I have. The tea is designed to stimulate the nerves. Though it won't work right away, it will help in the process and I hope drinking it two-three times each day for at least a month will do some good. Certainly over this next year. I want feeling back in my foot.

Hey Gang,
Much as I would love to game with y'all, due to some Real Life stuff coming up, I need to consolidate my activities a bit.
And since this particular game seems more active for live gaming then for play-by-posting, I'm going to withdraw.
Wishing y'all worlds of fun.

Come on GM let's get your head in the game or do I have to pound some sense in there with my juggling clubs.
Sorry, Grayson wanted to put his two cents in . . . or should I say coppers.

Legend Point Award: 1450, 1200 of which you had when you were in Throal. You previously had one of 600 at Lenape.
I am going to try much harder to keep up on here, especially since I'll be gone for several weeks in July. Let's set some ground rules to keep things sane:
1 - Don't post after a game session until I have posted a summary.
2 - For non-initiative situations, the order in which you post will be the order in which I take actions.
3 - For initiative situations, you can post out of order, but you lose your ability to change your actions based on events that take place between your post and your initiative spot.
I am going to get back in the habit of a 3-day time response - if you don't post, I'll take your action for you.

Reminders:
- an additional 10% of LP (145 in this case) can be spent on knowledge skills.
- at each circle that you advance, you can spend LP to advance an attribute. you can only do this as you advance a circle, and can't go back and 'make it up' later.
