Father - Duron is a woodsman and hunter. Provides for the family by hunting and bringing in firewood for families that cannot or will not go into the woods to get their own.
Mother - Thomasina collects herbs and other beneficial plants from the woods around the village. Has a beautiful garden behind their house and also helps other families with their gardening technique. The family has expanded their garden plot by buying an adjacent plot from Dubois when he was forced to sell parts of his land off.
Margaretha was his first love. She had been Kiranov's best friend since they were kids. As kids they had talked about spending their lives together and Kiranov had believed all the stories they made up about their future. He and Margaretha were a couple as young teens but Margaretha broke up with him to date and eventually marry the son (or one of the sons) of Dubois.
His most recent girlfriend, Toni, was recently arrested by LeFevre and is still locked away in a cell for theft. She has been caught a few times before by Bevier and let go with a warning to straighten her act out. Since this was not her first offense, Bevier was forced to let LeFevre hold her for now until an appropriate punishment is decided. While dating, Toni did teach Kiranov some of her lockpicking techniques (and maybe gave him some tools?) and Kiranov had been helping her break into a shop when LeFevre caught her. Kiranov had been warned by Toni that if any trouble occurred to make for the woods and they would meet up afterwards. He was looking around the back of the shop when he heard voices out front and the door opening. Toni had told him to go out the back door and she would leave by the side window. He made it out the door and got to the woods and waited several hours, but Toni did not make it to the rendezvous. He checked a few traps until he found a few rabbits and then worked his way home. Toni apparently convinced LeFevre that she was working alone and never mentioned his involvement. They had been keeping their relationship a secret as both are sure neither of their families would approve.
He briefly thought of trying to break her out, but he has no idea how to even come up with a plan that might work. Feeling more alone than ever plus experiencing these strange new powers he has been spending most of his time in remote areas of the woods not knowing who to trust or what he should do next.
His crush on Crispell occurred between his falling out with Margaretha and his relationship with Toni.
