Mana - are we fast forwarding to one of the next times we were free... I.e. evening after the second night of the trial, or is there a specific scene i should wait for you to start that you have in mind?

Lepistadt / Trial of the Beast Timeline

Day 0 - arrive at Lepistadt an hour or so after sunset.
No entry into town, but a group did visit the Spirl Cromlech.

Day 1 - Head to Kendra's townhouse in the early morning.
Visit the university and speak with Dr. Montagnie Crowl and learn of the theft of the Seasage Effigy.
Meet with Judge Embreth Daramid and agree to look into evidance of the crimes the beast is on trial for.
Meet with the defense attorney, Barrister Gustav Kaple, the very young acting sergeant Dun (who has tempory command of the 11 other courthouse guards), and the Beast of Lepistadt.
Buy horses and ride off to the swamp village of Morast. Meet the local swampers, kill a preggers manticore, adopt her baby.
Return to Lepistadt and start investigation into the discovered surgical tools.
A full night sleep is possible as long as nothing that would take a long time happens in flex time.

Day 2 - Msg from the Crooked Kin re Parker's wagon and the purchase of same from the old woman.
Continue tracking down the ownership of the surgical tools starting at the auction house and ending at Vorstag and Grines Chemyik Works.
Kill the propeiters and free the mongelmen and make a deal with the alchemical zombies in the basement. Be adopted by evil snapjaw homoculi.
Head over to the jail to get the crime scene processed and evidance collected.
Speak to the remaining witnesses of the beast's crimes in Hergstag in the middle of the afternoon.
Ride out to Hergstag arriving there not long before sunset. Destroy the wraithy remains of the dead children.
Kill Brother Swarm and clean up in Hergstag.
This is the night where you the reduction in sleep leaves you fatigued the following day.

Day 3 - The first day of the trial of the beast which presents the crimes in Morast.
The trail day finishes around 3pm at which time you rode north to speak to Dr. Brada's blinded assistant and visit Kern Sanctuary.
And kill the ghast infesting the sanctuary.
Then speak to the assisstant, Karl, again.
This night you are able to get a full night sleep, unless you choose to do something that would prevent that.

Day 4 - The second day of the trial of the beast which presents the crimes in Hergstag.
Trail day finishes around 3pm with the whiffs of common dissatisfaction at the possiblity of the beast getting of scott-free esp with strangers steping in.
Warning of possibly mob.
And emergency plans thereto and make sure the beast is okay.
Dinner is your own time.
Long hours of taking turns on watch to make sure a mob doesn't form.
Successful defusing of the mob.
Although not horribly comfortable you are able to get enough sleep in the courthouse (and post mob) to have to sleep related penalties.

Day 5 - The third day of the trial of the beast which presents the arson at Kern Sanctuary.
Which ends with an innocent verdict for the beast at 4pm.
Possible mob stirrings.
The beast safely escorted to the swamp.
A request for you to visit the beast's 'father' at Schloss Carmarc esp in case a mob tries to go there.

Are we assuming current scene is on night of Day3 or some other time?


Night of day three, yes.

GM: out of curiosity, could flex time events effect how things already went on day4?


Although fatigue can stack to become exhausted, the exhausted condition only applies penalties to physical activity, so the Diplomacy checks made on the second day of the trail would be unaffected.

Btw, didn't want to openly hammer the point with the younger one in the room, and I know you guys got this, but not to lose it. Skum are not able to reproduce without human females. Chances are fairly good that's what this "fostering" program is all about, and why the village has so many more makes than females. So besides the disappearances, I think we have a really good reason to find out where this "other village" is, & metagaming wise, maybe why the prof has the apparatus of kwalish type thing.
