Nice bunny.....{backs carefully away}....Nice bunny with the crusher....

Very good job on the hammer.

Dark Archive

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with it. The incredibly talented Tyler Poncho Toys are responsible. You can check them out here, as well.

Dark Archive

Knock knock.

Waves back. "Pssst... Hey Madeline. You know if Creel and Valen are coming to play? Just curious."

No, I do not.

All, I have tried to push this campaign and we have moved forward quite a bit over the past few months, but posting has become quite infrequent from several players. If people do not want to be involved in this campaign, please say so. Otherwise, at least one post per day, even a hello, would be appreciated when RGM is active. I know that he has trips to Europe and the States which takes him away for a few days at times, but he has been quite consistent in his posting while at his home. We all should be courteous and respond to his posts when he has put the time into running this campaign.

RGM - as I have said in the past, I like your style and while this is far from the fastest campaign I am in, you always keep it interesting with your descriptions and ability to keeps us wondering what is next.

Wishing every one all the very best.

I know a few of us have new jobs and new semesters, too, so I understand if we need to GM run some PCs. Just need folks to let me know what's going on.

Agreed - but a short "I will be away for a few days because I have finals." or "My dog died and my religion requires 2 weeks of computer free mourning." or "My annual alien abduction takes place next week, please DMPC me." or something of that sort is appreciated so that we are not all waiting for 2 days wondering whether we should DMPC you or not.

Dark Archive

Agreed.

Dark Archive

Meanwhile, would people be interested in moving this PbP over to roll20.net? I'm considering setting up an account. I think it might speed things up if we could organize a few sessions.

Dark Archive

Wow, that site seems pretty cool. I would be willing to give it a shot if you like. Of course, scheduling a time when we are all free might be easier said than done!

Dark Archive

I don't know. If we plan ahead, we could probably do it. What time zones are everyone in? I'm GMT +3 with Fridays and Saturdays off. I run my regular game on Fridays, but could do Saturdays twice a month. I can also do Sunday afternoons (Sunday mornings for most folks in the U.S.).

Hey guys still here. The flu hit me pretty hard so coherent thought has been lacking, but I seem to be getting on top of it.

As far as live play I am in GMT +8. Seattle, to be specific on top of that weekends are rather busy so I am not holding much hope for the roll20.net move. That said if I am the odd man out then so be it.

Oh and on the DMPC front please err on the side of DMPCing Creel. Do not let me slow things down.

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

In Chicago here, GMT -6. Time is always tough with two young sons wanting my time when I am not at work. I also may be moving back to the East Coast in a few months, so who know what my schedule might be after that.

Not sure about Madeline/Sunset, but something tells me that she is in Thailand or Indonesia or somewhere in that part of the world, so we are pretty spread out.

Dark Archive

Creel, you're probably GMT -8 (not +8).

Dark Archive

So we're looking at:

Creel, GMT -8
Alexa, GMT -6
Jaye, GMT +3
Madeline, GMT +?
Vaughn, GMT +?
Valen, GMT +?

Sorry for my absence. My problem with this new job is that it is project based and that can change things at any time. Just finished a job from Thursday through Sunday. Slept all day today, but should be back to normal now. My apologies for any distress/frustration I am contributing.

That being said, the website and format look cool, although I have never played in a format like that. So I would be the one asking the dumb questions until I get my bearings. My days off are usually Fridays and/or Saturdays. As far was my time - I am on the East Coast of the US, so GMT -6.

Posted now and back in the fray.

HP: 28 / 28, Init:+3, Perc:+7,AC:16,Fort:+3,Ref:+4,Will:+3

My 'equivalent' time is Tokyo standard.

That...plus a very staggered rolling shift roster means my 'live' role playing time would be very sporadic at best.

I understand if the whole group feels better moving to said format, it's just that I don't think I could match up the difference in hours.

Very much cheers to all.

Dark Archive

Well, nothing is set in stone. I was just considering it. Tokyo would mean GMT +9 (I believe), so marrying up our schedules on a single day would be very, very difficult. Hmmmm....

Dark Archive

Sacramento, CA for me. GMT -8.

Dark Archive

Meanwhile, Gen Con. Any of you going this year?

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

Two friends tried to get me to go, but I think that my family might be moving across the country that week, which would likely make me leaving to go gaming not a good idea.

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Small possibility. Need to see the state of my finances around June to make a final call.

Dark Archive

Well, if any of you do go, I'd love to meet you folks in person. Grab a beer, talk gaming.

Dark Archive

I would love to, but chances are very, very slim. Poor college student schtick and all.

I am thinking about 2014 - maybe this year, but I do not think that it is likely at this point.

Well, if everyone could plan for 2014, and I'm still running this AP when that rolls around (and I might be at the pace things are moving), we might all gather for some shenanigans that involve dice, beer, miniatures, and laughter.

Hey, could everyone place their basic stats (like Alexa did) in their top line. Makes my life way easier. It's under the class/level block in your character's profile.

Don't look at me, I am sure that I just stole it from someone else. I also include Perception and Init in some of my stat blocks as those are two that the DM frequently needs.

So not sure if this is too meta-gaming but Creel is good to keep going.
Plenty of hp but only one LOH left.

How are the rest of you?

Dark Archive

This can be expressed in game as, "I'm starting to feel my abilities wane." (or something like that). Otherwise, I'd consider this normal table talk. AKA... you're good to go.

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Down to one channel and 3-4 beneficial spells. A couple could probably be converted to CLW if needed. So - could probably press a little more - assuming we don't run into any more of the "heavy hitters."

HP: 28 / 28, Init:+3, Perc:+7,AC:16,Fort:+3,Ref:+4,Will:+3

Sadly Madeline has not exerted herself..seemingly. I do apologize is neither she, nor Smith, are seeming to be pulling their weight atm. (-_-)

Dark Archive

I believe the only thing Vaghn has expended thus far is his daily use of Loremaster. Not exactly an optimal combat build; heck, waiting to see if he even turns out to be a competent build. Damn fun to roleplay though.

You are both quite competent as far as I am concerned. There is a great deal more to this AP than bollixing a few haunts.

You guys are all good. Keep playing your characters as you enjoy them. I think we have a fairly good group of anti-undead fighters at this point with a fair mix of melee and divine. We are a little weak on the arcane, but hopefully that will not cause us to much pain.

I think between the Bard (1/2 arcane at least) the Summoner (2/3 arcane basically an arcane druid really) and the Druid (1/4 arcane? There are some NICE non clerical type spells on the druid list) I think we are solid on the arcane front.

If anything we are short on the hitting things with sticks front. But Creel, Smith, and Alexa's companion will be quite mighty once the buffs start flowing.
