Creel - sorry to see you go. If there is any way you could continue playing for another month or two until we finish this AP, that would be great. If not, it was a pleasure playing with you.

RGM - if Creel cannot continue, please continue to DMPC him until the end of this dungeon. Then we can decide whether to recruit a new player, or to go forward with 4 players. If you would prefer, I can NPC him until we are finished rather than you as DM playing a character.

Creel - I am sorry to see you go. I've been in similar straits on PbPs, so I feel for you if you can't continue. You'll be missed. Your eagerness was part of what encouraged me to follow the adventures of this group. Best of luck of to you.

I'll second Alexa's sentiment and add that I will also volunteer to assist with maintaining Creel if he can no longer stay. Or help however possible.

Just as a note, next Wednesday I will be driving to the east coast and will have limited internet on Wed-Thursday. My family is moving to the east coast and I may or may not have reliable internet access (or I may have tons if it gets set up). I am the advance party with the rest of the family following in a few weeks.

If I am slow on posting, this is likely why. I shall attempt to post at least once per day, but I really do not know how reliable my posting will be for anywhere from a day or two to two weeks. We are going to get internet from Comcast, and that is always a crap shoot at best.

No worries and thanks for letting me know. I'm leaving in two weeks for the U.S and will, quite likely, be unavailable for days/weeks at a time. In short, you can pretty much write off the whole month of August for me (Gen Con, NecronomiCon, FamilyCon, ect).

Haunt hint: Go through your inventory! When you investigate a haunt, you can try to communicate with it using spells like speak with dead or, if that is not available, other means. Prior party members *may* have secured items from the crypt (or town) used to communicate with spirits.

Unfortunately, Speak with Dead isn't available until level 3 spells, so that's not an option. Of the items I am aware of from both pre and post game arrival, we have some detect undead and some invisble to undead scrolls, but nothing that is a speak with dead item. So I went back as much as I could, and by my reckoning:

Alexa - (3) Sunrods, CLW potion, (2) Holy Water Vials, (2) Bottles of Oil, Tindertwig, (5) Torches

Creel - (2) Sunrods, CLW potion, Lesser Restoration Potion,

I am unsure whether the party ever really finished exploring the crypt. It was before I joined, and as I recall, the party seemed hesitant to go in there and may have left without actually finishing the exploring. I know there are some type of siphons in CC, but I have never seen any of these.

Didn't we find a Ouija board or something like that recently? I cannot remember what it is called, so I cannot search for it. But I am pretty sure we found something.

I think it is called a Spirit Planchette in CC, but I wasn't sure if we had found it somewhere. I was curious as well.

Your group did find a spirit planchette in the Crypt, but I think one of the other members of the group took it.

FYI I'm leaving in 48 hours for America. I'll be attending several conventions and my posts will be infrequent as a result.

No pressure on our traveling GM, but I just wanted to check that the game will mostly be slowed down until at least Aug. 20th or more. Sound about right?

I also want to mention that it looks like I'll be traveling as well from about August 26th through Sept. 7th - so my access may be limited during that time. Just didn't know if there will be an overlap.

I'll be traveling from today until August 4th. I'll be traveling (again) August 15th through 19th, as well as August 25th through the 28th. Finally, I'll be traveling between August 30th and September 1st. So, you'll see me, but I won't be posting as frequently as you normal see me.

Hey all -

Just wanted to mention that I will be on a business trip from about Aug 26th through Sept. 5th. I won't be completely away, but my posts may be erratic due to scheduling and such. Just wanted everyone to know as we come off this slow stretch.

Thanks for the update. I'm still checking in once or twice a day to see if there have been any updates; I imagine RGM is still stateside. In the meantime, got my copy of the RotRL card game, lots of fun!
