Bigby approves...

Dark Archive

Bibgy maximizes the spell.

Dark Archive

Bibgy, btw, is Bigby's cousin.

Are they related like Uncle Albert and Uncle Schmalbert.

Ah...now that's bringing back some fond memories. I liked playing that game.

I never played Car Wars. But I like reading the rules. Always wanted to play it.

I managed a couple of runs with school mates. That was another great thing about the game. You could carry most of the stuff in one almost pocket sized box. :D

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Hello all -

Back from my trip a little worse for wear, but eager to jump back in.

Apparently - Bigby's been waving a hand or something at me. ;-)

Posting soon.

We're so sorry

But we haven't heard a thing all day
We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But if anything should happen
We'll be sure to give a ring.

I never got to play, but I always wanted a car with the neutron bomb option.

You were just burning to do the neutron dance ?

Sorry, couldn't resist...

So much therapy to forget about the Pointer Sisters all gone to waste.

Commentary not associated with anything in game, but trailer for the Desolation of Smaug: Awesome! I haven't been this excited about seeing a dragon since way back when I saw Dragonslayer for the first time.

Holy mother of maniacs, that does look good....

Gonna have to see that one.

Okay guys, we're getting back into that "only a few people are posting" phase again. I'm not sure what's going on, but I need folks to start posting again, and soon. If you don't have time for this campaign, please tell me so I can bring it to a close. Vaghn, Creel, I'm looking at you two.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Dark Archive

I am here. Just unsure what to do; this combat is kinda Valen's show.

HP: 28 / 28, Init:+3, Perc:+7,AC:16,Fort:+3,Ref:+4,Will:+3

Doing well. Am really looking forward to finishing this whole part of the adventure and moving onto monsters with bodies to hit. :P

Also wishing every one all the very best.

I have to admit, anytime I have played clerics, I never had one play a pivotal role aside from having to rez someone.

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

A witch with the healing hex would be great in this AP. She could hit every undead with 1d8+ CLW damage once each.

Dark Archive

Witches are creepy, too

stats:
Hp 36/36 AC&ffac 15, +2 shield +2 cbt ex. Tou ac 10+2 cbt ex. 17cmd F+7 R+4 W+6
Human. Mixed heritage. Mutt from a port city. Warrior of the Holy Light 3AD

Quite creepy.
Which is why we love them.

I am having a blast with my one witch. Not playing her completely creepy, but I have been having a great time creating descriptions of the nightmarish doubt that she implants into the minds of the enemy when she uses her Evil Eye Hex.

Dark Archive

ALL - I know I probably sounds like a broken record player, but I'm posting almost every day, sometimes twice a day. I'm really, really trying to finish this book before the end of July. I don't want to push you into exploring when you're not ready, but I need folks to post more often OR to designate a party leader who can make group calls if you're not going to post every 24 hours. At least that way, I can move scenes onward.

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

That's why I am thinking the quickest way to keep the break short is to remain close to the prison. Heading back to town sound - logical as it may sound - tends to get us into a quagmire of town activity.

Unless we are going to dedicate ourselves to catching the statue vandal and hope that helps our cause at the prison, I am all for hand-waving the return back and then assuming we start fresh outside the prison next day.

That being said, just because Valen's out of channels doesn't mean we can't press on a little further and try to investigate more rooms. I want to find the source of the undead, or at least find where the fire broke out and see if that yields some clues. In the meantime, I can play heal/buff-bot if I have to.

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

I am sending this to second RGM's concerns. For some comparison, here is how long it has taken each player to make their last 50 posts.

Alexa - 50 posts since May 8, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Valen - 50 posts since May 8, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Madeline - 50 posts since May 3, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Creel - 50 posts since February 1, 2013 --> ~1 post/3 days
Vaghn - 50 posts since December 12, 2012 --> ~1 post/4 days

RGM - 50 posts since May 25, 2013 --> ~ 1.7 posts/day

_________
I can post for others if I know that they will not be around, but people need to actually inform us if they are going on vacation, or work is sending them to the middle of the Sahara desert, or they are getting married, or something else is going to impinge upon their ability to post regularly (ie at least daily with some forgiveness for weekends).

It is not like this campaign takes a great deal of time, there are usually at most 4-8 posts per day. It should take 10 or 15 minutes to read this on your phone while riding the bus or waiting for someone to show up. Put together your post and then happily go about your business knowing that 5 other people are not waiting for you to respond.

As I have said in the past, I really like RGM's DMing style. I would like this game to continue past the first AP, but there is no way that this can go on at the current posting rate. My understanding is that we are just about finished with this AP. We have a few rooms on this level and then, I believe, have a short dungeon. Lets get this done and finish these troublesome spirits.

THIS

HP: 28 / 28, Init:+3, Perc:+7,AC:16,Fort:+3,Ref:+4,Will:+3

I appologize for slowing in my posting rate.

Most times I really feel that Madeline has nothing to contribute. Knowledge, spell or strength wise.

Other times it has been shift work or, as is currently the case, illness and car accidents.

Wishing every one all the very best,

Dark Archive

You're fine Madeline. Hope all is well.

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Ditto, Madeline - hope you are doing alright.

Dark Archive

I'm still pushing forward daily....

;)

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

If Alexa is fine with the plan, then cast the hide from undead and bird form change looks like our next move.

Dark Archive

Works for me. Let's push forward!!

Chooooo Chooooooo!!! Chucka chucka chucka chucka ....Choooo Chooooo.....

Dark Archive

BTW: If you haven't seen it, Wes S. has a great selection of sounds for this AP. Most of them can be found On Groove Shark. Hellraiser is a good start for this AP....

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

Sorry about not posting for two days. Was travelling back east to do an inspection on the home we are hoping to buy. I got back to Chicago at midnight. At 4 a.m. I was woken by thunder. Between 4:00 and 7:00 we got nearly 5 inches of rain. Between a trench I dug and 2:30 minutes of pushing rain away from the basement with a broom, I managed to keep all but a little water from our basement. In the past 1/4 this much rain has caused major flooding, so I think the diversion trench I dug worked.

Unfortunately, between flying back and forth across the country, diverting thousands of gallons of water from my basement, and cleaning up the mess that the little water got left, I am a little behind on my games. I will try to get caught up tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.

Dark Archive

Natural disasters are certainly excusable. Thanks for letting us know!

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Sorry to hear about that - no worries and be well.

I feel for you - we've had 8 inches yesterday down Florida way. I don't have a basement to worry about, but definitely been making sure the rain spouts are pushing it all away from my house foundation the last few days.

Dark Archive

Is it weird that I sort of miss rain? LOL

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Not at all. I can only imagine that there's some eye-rolling at us when you all you get to see is desert and dryness. We seem to be at extremes on the weather.

Dark Archive

We'll give Alexa a day. Then I'll post again.

Dark Archive

Happy 4th everyone. I'll try not to kill you ALL in a glorious rain of undead fireworks!!

Half-Elf Male Cleric (Pharasma) 5 - HP: 34/34; AC17, T10, FF17; F+5,R+1,W+8; Per +9; Init +4

Thanks for that small concession. :-P

Happy 4th to you as well. I'll be working a fireworks show today, funnily enough.

Dark Archive

Beware the undead bottle rockets. They're the worst.

Female Human (Varisian(Ustalav)) Druid(Menhir Savant)/4 - Monk/1 HP: 33/36; AC16, T15, FF15; F+7,R+5,W+11; Per +13; Init +3

Happy blow stuff up day to all. Undead fireworks sound cool.

Dark Archive

Way to push the game Alexa!!

I'm trying. Lets keep things moving. Alexa wants to get back out into nature and out of this pit of undeath.
