We're so sorry
But we haven't heard a thing all dayWe're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But if anything should happen
We'll be sure to give a ring.

            Commentary not associated with anything in game, but trailer for the Desolation of Smaug: Awesome! I haven't been this excited about seeing a dragon since way back when I saw Dragonslayer for the first time.

            Okay guys, we're getting back into that "only a few people are posting" phase again. I'm not sure what's going on, but I need folks to start posting again, and soon. If you don't have time for this campaign, please tell me so I can bring it to a close. Vaghn, Creel, I'm looking at you two.
I hope everyone is doing well!

            I am here. Just unsure what to do; this combat is kinda Valen's show.
I have to admit, anytime I have played clerics, I never had one play a pivotal role aside from having to rez someone.

            I am having a blast with my one witch. Not playing her completely creepy, but I have been having a great time creating descriptions of the nightmarish doubt that she implants into the minds of the enemy when she uses her Evil Eye Hex.

            ALL - I know I probably sounds like a broken record player, but I'm posting almost every day, sometimes twice a day. I'm really, really trying to finish this book before the end of July. I don't want to push you into exploring when you're not ready, but I need folks to post more often OR to designate a party leader who can make group calls if you're not going to post every 24 hours. At least that way, I can move scenes onward.

            That's why I am thinking the quickest way to keep the break short is to remain close to the prison. Heading back to town sound - logical as it may sound - tends to get us into a quagmire of town activity.
Unless we are going to dedicate ourselves to catching the statue vandal and hope that helps our cause at the prison, I am all for hand-waving the return back and then assuming we start fresh outside the prison next day.
That being said, just because Valen's out of channels doesn't mean we can't press on a little further and try to investigate more rooms. I want to find the source of the undead, or at least find where the fire broke out and see if that yields some clues. In the meantime, I can play heal/buff-bot if I have to.

            I am sending this to second RGM's concerns. For some comparison, here is how long it has taken each player to make their last 50 posts.
Alexa - 50 posts since May 8, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Valen - 50 posts since May 8, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Madeline - 50 posts since May 3, 2013 --> ~ 1 post/day
Creel - 50 posts since February 1, 2013 --> ~1 post/3 days
Vaghn - 50 posts since December 12, 2012 --> ~1 post/4 days
RGM - 50 posts since May 25, 2013 --> ~ 1.7 posts/day
_________
I can post for others if I know that they will not be around, but people need to actually inform us if they are going on vacation, or work is sending them to the middle of the Sahara desert, or they are getting married, or something else is going to impinge upon their ability to post regularly (ie at least daily with some forgiveness for weekends).
It is not like this campaign takes a great deal of time, there are usually at most 4-8 posts per day. It should take 10 or 15 minutes to read this on your phone while riding the bus or waiting for someone to show up. Put together your post and then happily go about your business knowing that 5 other people are not waiting for you to respond.
As I have said in the past, I really like RGM's DMing style. I would like this game to continue past the first AP, but there is no way that this can go on at the current posting rate. My understanding is that we are just about finished with this AP. We have a few rooms on this level and then, I believe, have a short dungeon. Lets get this done and finish these troublesome spirits.

            I appologize for slowing in my posting rate.
Most times I really feel that Madeline has nothing to contribute. Knowledge, spell or strength wise.
Other times it has been shift work or, as is currently the case, illness and car accidents.
Wishing every one all the very best,

            BTW: If you haven't seen it, Wes S. has a great selection of sounds for this AP. Most of them can be found On Groove Shark. Hellraiser is a good start for this AP....

            Sorry about not posting for two days. Was travelling back east to do an inspection on the home we are hoping to buy. I got back to Chicago at midnight. At 4 a.m. I was woken by thunder. Between 4:00 and 7:00 we got nearly 5 inches of rain. Between a trench I dug and 2:30 minutes of pushing rain away from the basement with a broom, I managed to keep all but a little water from our basement. In the past 1/4 this much rain has caused major flooding, so I think the diversion trench I dug worked.
Unfortunately, between flying back and forth across the country, diverting thousands of gallons of water from my basement, and cleaning up the mess that the little water got left, I am a little behind on my games. I will try to get caught up tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.

            Sorry to hear about that - no worries and be well.
I feel for you - we've had 8 inches yesterday down Florida way. I don't have a basement to worry about, but definitely been making sure the rain spouts are pushing it all away from my house foundation the last few days.
