It's under the recruitment tab for the campaign now. When I created it it wouldn't let me link it, so I had to post in support and they got it linked yesterday. Guess it changed the URL.

Iantha Narili |

Ah yes. Now I see. I personally have no problem with someone having knowledge of the adventure.
I always assume they dont act upon it untill proven otherwise.

![]() |

I know what you mean. A generic of an action as it was, there was something that just made it fantastic and something I looked forward to seeing. If we're lucky, Dromer will return someday :)

![]() |

Miranda, please take a look at applicants if you can. The others PMd me, but feel free to post here if your prefer, I have no issue with discussion taking place here, that way each of you can hold a to-the-death cage match peacefully discuss who you'd like to have join.

![]() |

Sounds good. So, based on PMs I see have the following
Smith wants Craig Shackleton aka Lutiger Varner the Human Slayer
Iantha is leaning towards GreySector aka Velasco the Tengu Ranger, followed by Lutiger.
Iantha, you made a comment on party members having certain skills that are unique to them, something to set them apart. I didn't see many, if any, overlapping skills for Lutiger that caught my eye as messing with that. Did you have any in particular in mind that you had issue with?

Alright everyone, at the moment we've got Smith and Iantha returning to the main hall where Miranda is. I'll let you guys take it from there. I've already spoken with Twopenny about how he's going to come in.

Iantha Narili |

I made the GM the default so I can more easily update my Rise of the Runelords campaign from my phone. But yeah, I often forget to change it back if I post for something else.

![]() |

Sorry guys, had some personal stuff I was dealing with from the weekend. Back at full focus now and ready to kill entertain you!

![]() |

I'm not really sure what the party is doing at the moment. Iantha pointed out the noise but I don't see what's being done next.

Smith_ |

Sure, if people are purposefully wasting your time, it would be illogical to be patient with them.
I'm still working on Smith's personality, I'm hoping our first delve will inspire me to pick up some more personality for him.

![]() |

I forgot to close my bold tag *facepalm*, was wondering why I didn't see a post yet.
Twopenny, you're up.

![]() |

If Twopenny hasn't acted when I get back from work tomorrow I'll bot him for the round.

![]() |

I wish I had chosen to give these guys a minor buff before the fight, damn worthless little fellas lol

![]() |

I've sent Twopenny a PM. If he doesn't act this round again... well, I'll let you guys decide. I never like having to stop a campaign, especially one I'm running, but I'd rather do that than have it end up as the campaign going so slow that you guys play it but don't enjoy it.

![]() |

Hopefully. I hadn't thought of that till just before sending the PM, but being the second consecutive round might have more a little paranoid

I'm planning for next year. Planning to alternate between PaizoCon and GenCon, but I may just stick with GenCon depending I how I like it this year.

Iantha Narili |

I'd like to do PaizoCon first as its smaller, and I have no idea if I can handle such large crowds. I know I can outdoors, but I have not experienced that indoors.
I will also need to save serious money. A direct ticket will be about 900/1000 euro and about 10 hrs. of flight.
But totally worth it if I read painlords paizocon bloggery.

Dromer Greyskin |

I went to PaizoCon 2014 and had a blast.
GenCon 2015 was awesome as well.
But I thought this PaizoCon was just sort of "Meh".
There wasn't a multitable Special like in year's past, and I really missed having that. Plus, Serpent's Ire turned out being too long of a scenario for the 5 hour slot it was given. I felt stressed handling a table of drunk players and trying to cram in as much story as possible given the timeframe.
I didn't really start enjoying myself until Monday when I sat down to a 6 hour "speed run" of Plunder and Peril in Campaign Mode. I'm still laughing about it. Our GM's narration was hilarious and our characters just had amazing banter with each other.
(oh, btw, "Hi!")
Thanks for keeping this Campaign tab active. Every other game I was in has long since booted my characters. I just read through the Discussion and Gameplay threads to catch up.
My apologies again for the impromptu departure. It turned out being a hectic few weeks followed by working two jobs seemingly nonstop. I wasn't even sure I could attend PaizoCon, but I'm glad I did. Even if the experience didn't live up to times past, it's still nice to "get away from it all". I made sure to eat good food and take plenty of naps!
I still don't think I have the free time to jump back in to this Campaign, but I'll keep checking back to see how things are going =).

Iantha Narili |

I missed you! There has been no emo hair flipping at all :P
Plunder and Peril is a fantastic module. I have no idea how you could cram it in six hours. Also, that last map is insane!

That's too bad about Serpent's Ire, I've got that at GC, hope it goes well. I'm really looking forward to the multi table, and how it works combining RPG and ACG tables, I'll be playing on the ACG side.

Call it denial over one of my favorite characters to have played with leaving :P
I'm not gonna lie, I saw you post and got really excited you might be coming back lol
If you do PaizoCon next year you'll have the chance to play the kobolds-themed Pathfinder Adventure Card Game adventure that I'm working on. :-D
I hope they can schedule it for GenCon too regardless of if I go. I'm still a bit salty over the goblins being PaizoCon only. Anytime I asked about it I was only getting reasons why they couldn't do GC, not why it was OK to do PC only.

Iantha Narili |

We're lucky that we have enough players locally to be able to play the specials.
I've not really gotten into the card game. Too many games to play. Too many hobbies. But if there will be kobolds, I'll jump in ;)

I'm gonna send you a quick PM with my thoughts on that second point... Don't be too tough on them about it. :)

Iantha Narili |

GM, would it be ok to discuss a botting policy? We have pretty much stalled, and I love this game and this party and would not like to see it fall apart.

![]() |

Of course. I already botted once last round and have no issue doing it again. I just would rather have a 4th player than keep botting to the points it's effectively a GMPC, and is hate to have to go recruitment again.
I'll give everyone the weekend to let me know what they want me to do as far as botting vs. recruitment vs. quit the campaign and let all the Torchian babies get eaten by androids.

Iantha Narili |

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo dont quit!
My botting policy is: if you let me know you'll be gone, you can give me directions as how to act. I'll do those to the best of my abilities.
If someone has not posted in 24hours, and they did not let me know they would be gone, I place the player on delay so combat continues. Usually something just got in between, and jumping a place or two back in initiative doesnt hurt the combat in most cases.
If someone disappears for 48 hours, I'll bot the player myself to keep the story going.
I'll only start to worry if a player is gone for more then a week. Things like illness happen, and if you've got a sudden onset of flu, PbP is not the first thing you'll think about.
I've never had a person completely vanish on me yet.
I would love to continue this. If you want, I can ask in my personal PFS circle if someone wants to join. If they slack off, I can notify them in person.

Sorry for the late response guys. I did the unthinkable and managed to forget my phone when going out of state... yea... I know.
We'll continue, I'll bot Twopenny again this afternoon after work and continue from there.
Iantha, if you have a local who might be interested, definitely check.
